I think this is my favorite art gallery of all time, and it's gate kept for a good reason. The…read moreliteral entrance is modeled after ancient Chinese palace gates, how's that for gate keeping? Anyway, for those not in the know, Chen Art Gallery is tucked away in the Sunrider office building. You have to call to make an appointment and parking is free on the street. But it's all free so book away! Anyway, once you're in, there's a heavy emphasis on no phones or photography, and you'll discover why once you step foot inside. Holly was an amazing tour guide and knows her Chinese history really well, better than most of us probably. Anyway, where to even start? There's 15 rooms of artifacts from all dynasties of China, as young as Qing dynasty up to the 19th century to as old as 3000BC. And you'll be seeing things from authentic thrones to lavish silk embroideries to beautiful jade to sculptures to ceramics to gold, gold and more gold. Everything is carefully curated and honestly, if photos got out, big museums might hound them to borrow their exhibits hah! Anyway, you will be blown away by the sheer proportion of this lowkey museum/art gallery and by the sheer quantity AND quality of everything in here. This is a must visit and I'm very lucky to live so close by cause I hope to visit again in the future. Props to Dr. Chen for having such good taste and literally paying for all of this!

What a hidden gem. There is so much to see and learn. Holly is so knowledgeable and friendly.read more

I go to this mall for one thing, Entry to the AMC Movie theater which is on the 2nd floor…read more. I have been going here for years. These past couple of years I have noticed store closures. Stores have been closing due to the lack of business in this mall. At current status, its a Ghostown! Shopping is really non existence. "Its rather creepy." Its a sad situation to see that so many businesses are closing down. There is talk that this mall will completely close for good, maybe a couple of years from now. Rumor has it that this mall will be demolished for condos or some type of housing real estate investment? Overall I would come back! Its probably a good time to shop at this mall now since everything will be in liquidation soon. As for now, every stores is giving some type of discounts. No congestion, no traffic and plenty of parking. The mall is clean. I advise to look out for some deals. I seen discounts here and there that is ridiculously great! Lots of history at this mall. Going to be sad to see when this place gone.

This is the place to come to when you want to see what happens to a former thriving mall when mall culture no longer exists, and to get your steps in. It's air conditioned and quiet. Many of the spaces are for lease. There was a business where you can rent the space to take selfies with the full lighting and background setups. The only two stores I visited were the two large second hand stores. The one downstairs is mostly women's and the one upstairs is only men's. Service, selection and prices were great at both. They both sell clothing, shoes, and accessories. Cash discount. Parking: There is plenty of parking surrounding the entire mall, and it's free.
