I signed up for a class here and I'm very impressed with it. It has a clear curriculum, the teachers are professional with many years of experience. It's taught at a good pace. The beginner class has a great selection of templates to choose for your 1st project. I would absolutely recommend this school to anyone interested in learning. The class is priced appropriately. Glass supplies and tools are pricier than I expected but now I know why the finished pieces are so pricey in stores. Soon I'll be able to make my own! read more

My friend and I took a class with Kristen and Cindy. We learned to use glass paint to make a panel with painted dots. Everyone was welcoming and friendly and it was a comfy environment. Cyndee and her team are amazing teachers! I took the beginner stain glass class in May 2023, and I was blown away. Cyndee is one of those special teachers that can clearly demonstrate the technique as she is explaining it, and she made what felt like an intimidating process absolutely manageable. I loved visiting this place, even though I don't know how to do stained glass. I came in here hoping to find some supplies and project ideas to gift to my mom (she stains glass). The owner was very helpful and gave me lots of ideas and advise for me to pass on. With her help I was able to put together a nice gift box for my mon and she ended up loving it! My family and I went there one day just to see if they were a good fit since we wanted to learn a new hobby. 2 years later, they can't get rid of us. Kristin and Cyndee and like family. We have taken all of their classes, they have helped us through countless projects and helped fix our mistakes. They have continued to look for supplies we need and offer help whenever we need it. They are always willing to answer any question we have. All four of us have very different learning styles but they have somehow managed to teach all of us without losing patience . I have lived near the shop for over 10 years. I do not know why, but I always feared going inside. I felt like I might be intruding upon real artists and I know nothing about stained glass except 'it's pretty'. I've wanted to take a class, but I do not have much of an artistic eye. Finally after years of driving by, I stopped in for look. Some of the pieces are for sale, and others are displays for upcoming classes. Luckily they were starting a new beginner class so I signed up. Kristen taught the class, she is a great teacher. I am full of self doubt, and she made me feel comfortable enough to ask for help, let me now my mistakes are fixable, and to respect the medium (glass) I am working with. Kristen adapts her teaching style to each student in the class. There are different artistic levels, skill levels, and personalities with each student. Cindy is the other teacher, and she too is wonderful. I have signed up for her classes, usually a class that is two or three sessions long. Then due to work I have had to miss the second session, and she has let me come in to catch up, what I would say is akin to a private lesson. I pay to small fee to come in, but it well worth it for me, otherwise I would just quit after falling behind. She is helpful, nice, and like Kristen they really want you to succeed in the various forms of stained glass. They area always willing to share their tips they have learned along the way to make it easier. The shop works on custom pieces for clients, but for me it is the hobby side I enjoy. So, if you drive by don't be afraid to stop in. Oh, there is parking lot in back which is so much easier. With the traffic on Artesia Blvd in that location many times I drove past the shop because I did not want to exit my car in heavy traffic on Artesia Blvd. read more

You can browse their in-store art, various books and photos and above all else, they will custom make almost anything you can think of. I thought a custom piece would be well over my budget but to me surprise, it was affordable. I love all things glass. This shop is a gem in the South Bay. I have taken several fusing and mosaic classes and loved them all. I bring all my artsy (and less artsy) friends here when I can. Classes are well-thought out, informative and great for all skill levels. The raport the staff have with all their clients is great and the shop is comfortable and inviting. After many times of driving by the shop, my roommate expressed an interest in taking a stained glass class. We knew absolutely nothing about stained glass before I bought a gift certificate to beginning foil for her birthday. From day one everyone who works and teaches there have been fantastic! The classes are great! The instructors are all knowledgeable, patient, and fun. Even when I'm not taking a class I can stop by the shop, find something new to work on, and get help if I run into any trouble. I can't believe how great the projects that I have created have turned out! There are so many classes that I STILL want to take and they're always adding more. This is a great place. You take a class and you have a beautiful piece of stained glass and you get addicted. The teaching and camaraderie in the classes are fantastic. When you first walk in, the pieces take your breath away. When you take a class, you get challenged and totally inspired from the instructors whose own work is spectacular.
