Without a doubt, the best manicure and dip I have ever had!!!!! The shop is clean and pleasant, with very nice technicians. He shaped them beautifully, did not nick my cuticles with the dremmel (as many others have done!), and the dip is subtle, not thick. Just great!! The picture does not do it justice. My appointment was at four I waited till 440. I explain to the girl that I wanted my nails cut down. She didn't do that. She cut my finger so badly that I had to go to the emergency room I asked for a specific color she picked her own color, the whole point of me shortening my nails is because I have a three year old. This is not my normal nail salon. My biggest pet peeve is when they don't listen or and then I end up in the emergency room with a cut and I still have to pay never said her name all I know is that she's a number six that's where she was at, but then by the time it came to paint it she switched off with a man she knew I was unhappy and another only did she cut me she nicked me another finger and they make you buy the boxes but they don't even put you on a piece to the drill on I mean, if you're pregnant and you're tired and it's the end of the day then go home and have somebody else do the nails because my nails are the same length. I've gone near and far to find someone who can do my nails without them breaking or looking HAGGED. Dawn and Tom, what can I say their an amazing duo. Their both great at what they can do and they both work everyday to better themselves and grow for their customers. They really try and get to know you, and Tom.. he can do the BEST ombré AROUND! As a female who LOVES ombré and getting your nails done you know it's hard to find someone that can do it PERFECT! And that's Tom, well worth the money. They always continue to impress me. While they were able to accommodate me on a walk in basis I will never go back. i just wanted a pedicure which was blah at best. My nails do look pretty but the guy doing my pedi really upset me. He kept carrying on that I should have kids that nieces and nephews arent enough. That a woman my age (I did admit my age as I told him I was treating myself for my birthday) should be married. That I should just jump in cause it's all a gamble and women into their 50s are having babies. It was very uncomfortable and hurtful. It's none of his business why I don't have children and his whole agenda was crap. I went to Art's Nails after finding them on Yelp, and I was so satisfied with the job they did! I got a full set of acrylics with gel and it was $45, which is very fairly priced. The female working asked me what my name was and I told her then replied I didn't have an appointment. She then said something to her coworker and rudely told me I would have to make a appointment then come back. I've been to every nail salon in Windham, and had resigned myself to crooked, uneven nails...until I went to Art's Nails recently at the recommendation of a friend. Tom was super friendly, and I've never been happier with a set of nails! They were all uniform in length, filed perfectly into the almond shape I like. I also requested a design on an accent nail, and one of the girls painted little silver and white swirls on them. They came out absolutely perfect and I've received so many compliments on them! Absolutely the worst experience TWICE now. I tried going to a new place again because my favorite guy moved to Saco and its far for a fill every two weeks. My nails are completely side ways and all different shapes, I asked for coffin shape.... the first guy was new and I asked him twice to re-shape them, got attitude and threw his stuff and walked away. Meanwhile a new lady started doing my nails and trying to shape them so they were not crooked but she couldn't even do it. After an hour of being there I gave up asking them to keep fixing them. I'm so disappointed in the new management. I've been going to arts for over a year now, I had perfect sets every time I went...till the new owner took over. Today I called at 2 pm asking if it was possible I get a fill today before they close - she tells me 6:30. I look online and see they close at 7 so I show up at 6:15 to give enough time to do my nails.. I wait till 7 pm to even sit in the chair for the girl to tell me she can do no designs and that I "should've showed her my picture sooner". Needless to say, I will not be going back. read more

I prefer Tom above all the other nail technicians that works at Art's Nails. Sometimes I notice flaws in shape or paint job when one of the ladies do my nails but Tom is ON POINT everytime. Going forward I will make an appointment each month with Tom specifically. Dawn does great with my eyebrows and the pedicures look and feel great! One critique - if the seating is available please put girlfriends together. We come to the salon to catch up with each other, getting my nails done is just as much about being social as it is about pampering myself. My last visit I was unable to catch up with my girlfriend because we were sat separately. The pair of girls who came in after us were also sat separately. If we had been seated together, the other girls would have been able to sit next to each other too. read more

I got a manicure with gel polish. 2 days later the polish on one of my nails fell off, in one whole peice. The next day the same thing happened to the other hand. I think it may be because they didn't rough up my nails before applying the polish. I have been getting gel polish for almost 10 years and this had never happened before. read more

My experience started by walking in and being greater by a very friendly woman I assumed was the owner. Next, I see a man that is stretched out from one chair to the next with his shoes off watching tv. His bare feet sitting where I'm hoping I won't be. Gross. Next I had a gel manicure. It was horrible. All of my nails were filed differently, I had polish on my skin. And it lasted 1 day before chipping. The whole point of gel is that it lasts 2 weeks!! Next I had an eyebrow wax. Big mistake, not only did I immediately have to pluck them to even them out, but as she was using strips to remove the wax she was putting the stick to apply wax in her mouth dropped wax on my hair and used the chewed on stick the entire time. read more

First time I went, I would have told you 5 star. The shop is a little old, but my service and gel mani/pedi were excellent. This week, my mom and I popped in to do just regular polish manis. We were barely acknowledged or spoken too. Went with my daughter law for pedicures. Salon was dirty and staff unfriendly. Worst pedicure ever. Done in under 20 minutes. More like an expensive polish change and even with that I only got top coat applied to one foot! Never go back. read more

This is the WORST nail salon expirience I have ever had in my life. Had made an appointment for a mani/pedi, they chose to take two walk INS and leave me and my friend hanging. We ended up wasting three hours in this place. The place was absolutely filthy!! To the extent that they were allowing a man to walk around barefoot. And it doesn't stop there. I asked her to please paint bats on my nails for Halloween. They were unable to do so and did not even know what a bat was, even after showing them the picture. They actually told me to find something else. Then the woman asked what shape nail I would like. I clearly said almond shaped. She starts doing a coffin shape. I say something about it and she proceeds to give me a hard time and yell at me saying that I told her coffin shape. After that was resolved, they decided to paint a "moon" on my nail which really just came out as a backwards C. I actually had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. And last but not least, while the man was doing our pedicures, he actually burned me with a hot stone! They were SO hot. I jumped away and noticed a mark on my leg where he had been rubbing them. DO NOT go here. You will leave feeling dissapointed, possibly burnt and left with horrific nails. Screw this place. I am pissed. read more

I sat in chairs they provided for people to wait for almost 20 minutes without anybody acknowledging I had walked in. Tom does a terrific job on my gel nails/tips. Had gone to Angel Nails in the past and David made my cuticles bleed on more than one occasion. I had to go every two weeks as tips lifted or fallen off several times. With Tom, my nails last up to a month easily. I need to get them done because they have grown out a bit. Angel Nails will not disappoint! Try the cat's eye....it is gorgeous! They do accept walk-ins which occasionally can give you a little wait time but in my opinion worth it. read more

Got acrylics done and within 2 days I had one of them fall off. Another one fell off the next day. The polish started to turn brown. There are air bubble throughout my whole nail. My nails were put on sideways. read more

Just returned from a wonderful pedicure at Art Nails. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of time spent massaging my legs and feet. First a scrub massge, then a massage with lotion and to top it off wonderful hot rock/towel massage! They also did a great job with my nail design and were very welcoming and friendly.
