After being over-charged for terrible manicures in Portland, I found Best Nails 2 in Falmouth. The salon is very clean, they use liners in the pedicure bowls, all tools are sterile and the end results are fabulous. A shellac manicure lasts over 2 weeks. My pedicure has lasted a month. The staff is very friendly. My favorite is Kim. She gives the best pedicures I have ever had. I leave there with the smoothest skin on my feet. Kim also does an amazing job waxing eyebrows. Best nails is my go to spot for a mani and pedi. Back in August before my wedding, my party of 7 were graciously given a reservation to have all of us get our nails done at the same time. The staff and owners were so kind and inviting, it really was a great start to my wedding weekend! Even the owners daughter was so nice to take pictures of the girls and myself getting pampered. I have been here before and it was great and today was the same. Manicure: excellent attention to detail and my nails came out flawless. Pedicure: they did not rush like other salons. Even the rinse was thorough. I got hot towels, callous removal, hot stone massage, and an excellent long massage. They carefully cut out an ingrown toenail and TOOK THE TIME to do the full process of the pedicure the right way. I love this place and the owners! All the staff are very friendly! Its always a fun time when i go there. I have Tom the owner do my nails all the time. He does an awesome job. The way he shapes my nails are what i want and i love the way they come out. His wife Cathy does my pedicures and shes so cute and friendly. She does an excellent job as well. I am new to Maine and had tried a different salon when I first arrived...it was not a good experience and then I met Tom and told him about what happened and he couldn't have been nicer; he said it was important that his customers leave satisfied and that they tell him if they want something specific. Tom and Cathy run the best nail salon that I've been to in Maine. When we moved an hour north of the Portland area, I was lost without them and now I drive an hour each way to get my acrylics done by Tom. He is GENTLE and careful, time efficient and affordable. I've looked at a lot of different nail salons from Falmouth up to Bethel and this is by far the best place for an acrylic set for miles and miles. read more

Amazing! I come here every two weeks and they fantastic care of me. Friendly service. They are always accommodating if I need fingers and toes done at the same time.
