We had such a great visit on a rainy day. We did walk in…read morehours on a Monday. We arrived shortly after they opened and were able to get started right away. There are plenty of options for walk ins. Canvas, ceramics, wood items. Since it was not an instructor led project we were given detailed instructions that were very easy to follow. The staff set up our area with the canvases we selected and one ceramic project. All the supplies were laid out as well. We had plenty of room to work and chat. My kids joined me: ages 15 and 11 Our artwork did not turn out like the sample, but made for some great laughs and excellent memories. Somehow my beach scene took on the resemblance of a frog or some creature. who knew making a shadow on the water would be so hard. I look forward to visiting again. The class was pretty full. We painted a beach scene with the artist painting the pic being viewable via TV. That was different but welcomed. You can bring your own wine and snacks. We had wine, cheese and crackers. It was really fun! They selected a few folks from a gameplay and they won pictures. Those celebrating were brought on the stage and were given gifts! The customer service was lacking. We arrived and stood at the desk. After several minutes, someone…read morefinally decided they should help us and told us to write down the pottery. We plan to paint and that they would set us up. So we walked around, I had not been to paint pottery in about eight years so you could consider me a novice. We found the pieces that we wanted and waited for further instruction. 15 minutes later someone finally decided they should help us again. This is after we stood at the counter, waiting to pay for our item and point out the item that we wanted to paint. At that time we learned we were supposed to pick up the item go sit at a table, and the utensils would be brought to us. We grabbed our items and sat at the table where we had water in a jar and two sponges and a laminated paper with instructions. We then went to pick the paint brushes we thought would fit our project and were told that we needed to select our own paints. No instruction on how to select the paint, luckily my sister, who is with me, helped me figure out what to grab, and how much I could grab. With what I painted, I required more paint, but the three women were so enthralled in a conversation with a gentleman at the counter, they did not come check on us to see what we needed. I finally said loudly excuse me can I get some help and someone came over. This young girl came over and offered to bring me more paint after I explained. I ran out of paint and did not know what to do with the empty paint container because none of it was explained to me and my sister decided to go get me more paint. After the young girl walked away I heard her say this is not my job. Terrible customer service! Also, no one explained to me the process of the painting, again novice at this, and I wasn't sure if I cleaned my brush on the sponges or use the water. When we were finally done with our paintings, we sat wondering what to do next. My sister decided she would stay at the table in case we did not need to bring our painted work to the front and I went to the front counter to let them know we were done. The woman said you were supposed to bring it up to the counter and pay for it now. Thanks for more instruction that you never gave, but apparently I was supposed to know. This was a terrible experience. If I could give zero stars, that's probably what I would give.

I hosted my 21st birthday at this place and it was INCREDIBLE. Everything, from the planning, to…read morethe payment, to the accommodations, to the actual painting session-- it was handled so professionally and yet it still felt so personal, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially because I had a lot of issues settling on a date. Kate was the person who handled this specific interaction and I'm not sure if that is always the case, but she is such an easygoing person and was so understanding and patient during our communication, and when everyone showed up to get started painting everything was already set up and the environment was so relaxed that it was impossible NOT to have a good time! Kate guided me to choosing a painting for my party that would fit within the time limits, and the options are nearly limitless so there is definitely something for everyone! Even the boys had a good time! Again, Kate is so relaxed and patient that painters of all levels were very comfortable and she was very helpful in answering any questions! Good to know: they do have adult beverages as well as sodas and water available for purchase! All supplies, including aprons, are included in the price of participating! In short, we had an incredible time and came away with gorgeous "party favors"--our paintings! Would love to come back for a class!

This place is great. We saw that there were new owners, and we decided to stop in for an afternoon…read moreof painting. Sarah and Summer were so welcoming and friendly. We had stopped and got some food before heading over, and they more then accommodation with us eating and painting. There were so many great options to choose from, from small, easy pieces to large, detailed pieces and everything in between. We had lots of great conversation, as there are many tools and paints to choose from. Have a question; both ladies were great at answering all the questions. There was plenty of space; the building was clean and was bright and cheery. We had a great time, and we will be back again for some more fun. This is a great place to host a party or a ladies' night; even kids can get involved!!! Definitely recommend coming here for a great time of creativity and fun!!!!

I love this place! I did the paint a long class here, and it was just awesome! I've never taken a…read morepainting class before. So, I'm going in totally blind. The first one I did was a tree. It looked VERY daunting. Two hours later, my piece surprisingly came out pretty nice! And, I liked it so much that I did it again! I went back to do a lighthouse. I believe the instructor's name on this one was Karen for the lighthouse. That was a tough piece. Karen took a lot of time with us. It was a two hour class, and I had no idea that it had already been three hours! She was so nice. In the end, I was also pretty satisfied with my lighthouse. :) Participants made an evening out of the class, too. Groups went together, and on the lighthouse class, I went on a Saturday night, several people brought wine and snacks. Lots of fun! The two pieces I did made for very nice Christmas presents I gave them to a good friend with whom I did a fall trip with that had the trees with the red autumn leaves and lighthouses. She loved them! I can honestly say that I am hooked! I am definitely planning to go back. There is another lighthouse piece that I'm wanting to do when they feature it.

I think the masks made it hard for them to see because they often did not have them over their eyes, instead they placed them in their foreheads. But the hostesses were very nice, good with kids, and polite. The decor was perfect, they had face painting, games, music, it was clean, comfortable, and I could not ask for more. Lavishly Posh does all of the work, even the invitations, which turn out looking really cute. They also take lots of pictures & put them in a disc for your keepsake. All that I had to do is bring the food & cake and they set it up with warm catering trays even. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who needs help organizing a party.
