My husband and I went for a late lunch at your establishment on August 4th. I was extremely excited to spend my afternoon in the presence of a great restaurant, I was thrilled to be here. We got sat down and ordered our drinks. I got a tea and the hubby ordered a beer. I was undecided at to what I wanted for my birthday lunch (I didn't tell the staff it was my birthday at any point during our visit and I wanted to keep it that way). The waitress came back a while later and we ordered our food. I was finished with my tea and the hubby with is beer. The waitress never appeared to asks us if we wanted refills. So our food came about 20-30 minuets later. At that point she asked if we wanted refills. We said yes, of course we do. I got the fajita plate, It was warm-cold at best. I was hoping it be pipping hot. It's fajitas so it was a BIG turn off BAD!!!!!!?I put my fajita plate to the side and it took a while for the waitress to come back, I wanted to order another plate. I got the Flounder that was stuffed with crab meat. I was excited by the sound of flounder (my favorite type of fish with crab meat) my mouth was watering! When the fish came out to the table and it had no flavor WHATSOEVER!!!!! I'm a seafood lover and I can tell you that it was a disappointment! I really was disappointed with the whole experience. Of all days, my birthday.........at your restaurant! It was also a disappointment that I only got 2 refills of iced tea. I have patronized your establishment so many time and never have I been disappointed as much as I was today, on my birthday! As my husband and I were Checking out at the front desk, cause the waitress never came over to give us are bill, I told the manger or whomever it was at the front desk how LACK LUSTER our experience was. Never out of the years we have eaten there, have we a bad experience like this. Anytime we do go, we always ask for Jorge, he is our go to waiter. He is a wonderful waiter very receptive and curious. We have had other waiter/waitresses and they are so good as well, never had a problem with anyone. I don't know if this waitress was new or in a bad frame of mind but we weren't happy at all, or at least I wasn't happy. I will continue to go to your establishment because it is good food and I like the environment, and one instance shouldn't determine the inadequacies. We enjoy the atmosphere and really love the food. We enjoy Jorge and everyone else that waits on us. We are generous with tips, just ask Jorge, he will tell you. BTW, we did pay for all our food even the two plates that weren't to my expectation. We do genuinely like eating here and will go back again in the future. read more

We went to Arturo's Bar and Grill at 9:30pm, just 30 minutes before they closed. Even though it was late, we had a really great dinner! Sometimes when you go to a restaurant close to closing time, the staff seems tired or they say they're out of something you want. But not at Arturo's! When we walked in, the host smiled and was happy to see us. He got us a table fast. Our server was super nice and didn't rush us at all. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. We ordered fajita tacos, lunches, and tortilla soup. Everything tasted amazing! The manager even came by twice to check on us and told us to take our time. This is the worst Mexican Restaurants I have been to. The enchiladas verde sauce and beans were made straight from a can. The tortilla soup "bowl" is only a little bigger than the tiny salsa cup, it was super salty and had a strange aftertaste. The rice was bland. The guacamole pico had a weird taste to it too, almost fishy. The table salsa was watery and bland. The best thing I had was a semi crispy onion ring from another plate. Went into the lounge area ordered munchies to go they had a juke box playing so I decided to put a few songs in. Asked the manager what happened and he mumbled something about having common courtesy since they were closed and that he had extended the closing time for us. I apologized for not knowing they closed early but pointed out the sign said they close at 11 and it wasn't near 11 yet! A great manger/host should keep his signs posted clearly and not treat customers like their a nuisance Don't like your job...time to change! I was in town visiting my mother and decided to have dinner here. We were there early (5pm) and they seated us near the bar. They were playing W.A.P. very loud. I can not believe that a dining establishment would play music with lunch foul language. I wish I would have just left then. First time here. I made it just ahead of the lunch crowd. Staff were friendly and courteous. I ordered a simple lunch of soup and a sandwich or lonches. I was served a small tortilla soup with melted cheese and tortilla strips with 2 small lonches. One word-delicious! The sandwiches or lonches were made with a thin bread, seasoned ground meat, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced avocado and queso fresco. The bread was thin enough to not be too filling and the avocado and queso were fresh toppings. The soup was served hot and tasted homemade. Good service, big portions on the meal plates, the chips and salsa was small amount of chips but they kept bringing more when asked.
