This is definitely my Go to for salads, Pizza and garlic bread. I love the variety in the menu and the wonderful service. I've had the salads and garlic bread here a couple times and they were really delicious. The garlic bread is honestly a masterpiece. It's so moist and delicious, I will definitely recommend getting that. I had the homemade lasagna today which comes with a side of garlic bread. The total order was $8.95 which I thought was a really good price for the food. The lasagna was so tasty I will definitely be back for that. The ambience is casual, nothing too fancy it's a good spot to grab lunch. Would 10/10 recommend.

We always looks for pizza that is a chain brand. Stumbled on this little place. In talking with them they have been in business over 30 years. Menu is pretty basic but they are open for breakfast. Breakfast pizza that's right. We dropped in around 2pm the place was not real busy. Staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. The pricing was really fair. Pizza crust was great. Also had cheese sticks that were great.

Wow! We found this place on our way back to Michigan and it was spectacular, located right off the highway. We ordered the cheese pizza and cheese breadsticks for dine-in, and it came out quick (15 minutes). Tons of cheese and we got the garlic butter and parmesan added to our pizza crust (recommend this if you're a fan of Little Caesars crazy bread). We will be back next time we're in the Toledo area!

We just relocated from Missouri to Walbridge, OH so we're on a mission to find our new favorite pizza place. I'd have to say that we are extremely pleased with Arturo's Pizza Kitchen! We received a brochure in the mail that included coupons so we thought we'd give it a try. The gentleman that answered the phone was polite and professional. We were quoted 30-40 minutes on delivery time and it got to our house in 25 minutes. We ordered a large pepperoni and mushroom pizza and a medium buffalo chicken strip pizza. They were hot, fresh and loaded with flavors! If you haven't tried this pizza establishment yet, you're missing out! We give them FIVE stars! Thanks Arturo's, we'll be ordering again soon!

To me, it's the crust that makes or ruins a pizza. It has to be hand-tossed, not pre-fab, and it must be well done, thin and crisped on the bottom. This pizza fit the criteria. This was an excellent crust, thin and well cooked (check out the Pictures I posted.) The cheese and sauce were pretty good too, but nothing out of the ordinary. I highly recommend it.

2/5 Zia's has a fun,…read moreold school Italian atmosphere with lots of character, and the waterfront setting and views are definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, the overall dining experience didn't live up to the atmosphere. Service started off well but became increasingly slow and disjointed throughout the meal. There appeared to be plenty of staff, yet several things had to be requested more than once. We also weren't offered dessert or coffee and had to ask. When coffee eventually arrived, it was barely warm. The food was very hit or miss. The side salad with white balsamic dressing was delicious, and the olive tapenade was good, although the bread was surprisingly dry. The vodka sauce had great flavor but was extremely oily. We appreciated that the pasta is made in house, but unfortunately several pasta dishes were noticeably overcooked. Some of the chicken was dry and underseasoned, and the red sauce had a somewhat processed or jarred flavor. The pizza was decent but nothing particularly memorable. There were also some issues with special requests not being followed, and rather than correcting one of the meals, a discount was offered instead. Overall, several people at the table were disappointed with their food. The restaurant has a great location, unique decor and some genuinely good flavors, but the inconsistent food and service overshadowed the positives during our visit. Hopefully it was just an off night, but based on this experience, we would not return.

Only complaint is our bottle of wine. It was a little watery and not rich like we would expect from a pino noir! Would 100 percent recommend eating here!

Went there Saturday with family and friends. What a great night!…read more Two of us had the lasagna and it was incredible. This isn't the usual lasagna. It's similar to what you know, but different! I bet it had 10 layers. The sauce was definitely made in-house. Not too sweet, not too bitter/sour. The one thing that's different with Calvino's is I couldn't detect or find any ricotta cheese, and I didn't miss it. It was a very generous portion, and it was perfectly cooked. No dry pasta or burned edges. I opted to add some Italian sausage which was the perfect addition. The other person who ordered this added sausage and ground beef and said that his was perfect. Either way, you can't go wrong! Another person at our table ordered the butternut squash ravioli. She was kind enough to let me try a piece and it was absolutely amazing! She ordered it with the olive oil and garlic sauce, which was the perfect pairing. This was as good or better than the butternut squash ravioli at Martini's in Columbus. The pasta had great texture (definitely fresh pasta) and the filling wasn't gluey in any way (this filling can have a tendency for textural issues). I'm definitely ordering it on my next visit! Someone ordered the chicken and pesto sandwich and raved about it. The last person at the table ordered the linguine with olive oil, garlic and mushrooms and again, it was perfection. All entrees were served with bread (ahhhh, those great little nuggets of fresh baked bread, drizzled in butter and sprinkled with cheese...) and a really nice, fresh salad. I would bet that the dressings are all homemade too! From past experience I can attest to the stromboli being outstanding (get the Godfather!)! The pizzas going by the table looked pretty amazing too, but I've not had their pizza. Appearances can be deceiving, but from the looks of the pies and quantity of people ordering them, they have to be pretty great too. Calvino's does not have a full bar, but they do have an extensive wine selection and some nice beers to choose from. If everyone at the table is ordering wine, go for the bottle as it will save you money. They have some really nice, inexpensive wines that pair very well with pasta - you won't break the bank on wine (but you could...)! All in all, it was a great night! The bill for the two of us came to $55.00 (that's including the tip)! The service was great, the food was outstanding - the best Italian meal I've had in Toledo, hands down.

The food was...super salty. We ordered chicken Marsala, shrimp scampi, chicken Francese, and a pepperoni pizza. With soft drinks and two glasses of wine the bill was about $126. I love chicken Marsala, Carrabas has the best. I didn't expect it to be better than Carrabas but I expected it to be better than when I cook it at home. I tried dipping my chicken in my water glass to wash the salt off but it was ridiculous. My mother in law got the scampi. She likes salt, she ate the shrimp, but she couldn't eat the noodles. I tried the noodles and her dish was even saltier than mine. My husband got the chicken Francese. He said that was salty too. The pizza was ok but the crust was as hard. I didn't want to complain but when three of ours meals are really salty , it's not acceptable. I didn't want them to send out any dishes like what was served to us to other patrons. Sometimes the kitchen gets their sugar and salt mixed up. I was hoping that they checked this once we complained. The waiter apologized and tried to make it right by offering a dessert. We didn't want it but ended up taking it to go. Our meal was comped in advance (not because we complained) so we weren't too worried about it. If I had to pay for it out of pocket, I would have been more upset. Hopefully the cooks are tasting what they send out in the future.
