Arrived early for our reservation and they were able to seat us right away. Service was prompt and super friendly. A little forgetful, but Sydney's personality made up for it. Appetizers came out quickly and were delicious. Meals were also fast. Pizzas were good. Pasta was good. Chicken piccata was good. The filet mignon was very overcooked. Ordered medium rare and it came out well done. Still had good flavor. Did not complain or send it back - I hate doing that. Overall, it was a nice dinner.

Had a nice night with my wife at this restaurant, service was good, we loved the drinks and the appetizers and the soup and salad. But our final entrée left a lot to be desired. The mushroom pizza just seemed to be lacking too much, it was not good. The crust was perfect but the rest was gross. Not sure if they forgot to add something but no seasonings, no cheese, mushrooms were close to raw and plain. We'd try it again but would definitely order a different pizza.

They have some amazing themed nights and great events at this spot. I've been here a few times, but this time I heard they have a new GM which totally makes sense with the vibe and all the fun happenings. I will say every time before this time, I was always impressed with the service and food. This time they had a Harry Potter themed cocktail list. We all know I love a good cocktail menu, and Harry Potter themed? How could we go wrong? I ordered the Harry Potter flight and was wowed by all the different flavors. One had frangelico in it and I was really wowed by the flavor. All of them were delicious! We ordered the feta dip, baked Brie and the meatballs to all share. They were all absolutely delicious! It's a wine bar and known for their cheese, but I have to say the meatballs were dynamite. Isaiah was our water and he was quick and very nice. I'm excited for the new GM as he gets more people coming back and excited about their new themes and events.

My bad. I consider Mike P our Toledo pizza expert. I usually read his review before checking out pizza spots. Last minute type deal after the comedy show. I did make a reservation. We arrived early due to the show letting out earlier than expected. The hostess checked us in and invited us to check out the bar. Bar has like 6 seats so not much to check out but in direct sight of the hostess when our table is ready. Decent wine list $9-15 per glass and a few craft beers. So now the wait begins. Its about 10 minutes past our reservations. I go back to the hostess n she look like she never saw me before. Said something about maybe they gave the table to a similar name. I told her if there's another Summer in here I want to meet her lol. No apology or anything. She just looked confused? Server was nice n knowledgeable. Unfortunately the best thing I had was the charcuterie. Nice selection of cheeses but a little pricy at almost $20 for a small plate. We got the primo pizza. Pepperoni sausage n mushrooms. Floppy falling apart pizza. Need a fork n knife to eat it. Toppings n sauce completely forgettable. Warmed some up when I got home to cook a little more n still forgettable. Servers box up your food. I personally prefer to do it myself for sanitary reasons but he had already grabbed the pizza n started. Is that what makes this upscale pizza? Now the disappointment with the credit card fee to use a card. If this was mentioned on their website or on the door I would have brought cash. Good server but I tip based on cost of my items, not additional fees added. My man refuses to eat the leftovers so off to the trash. Toledo has so many good pizza places here. Nothing special to see here.

We come here every year when we visit friends. I have to say this time was good and bad. Our food was good , but my husband ordered the Santa Fe soup and the waitress brought potato leak saying " she didn't know they where out of Santa Fe" we go the honey whipped feta for an appetizer which came with lots of whipped feta ( yummy) but only four small pieces of bread. We asked for more break and where told it would be a. Additional $4.50 ( okay that's fine because we had all that whipped feta). However, my husband ordered the meatballs and when they arrived, guess what? They had five pieces of the same bread!! Why the waitress didn't tell us " you can have more bread for $4.50 or wait for your meatballs which come with the same bread" ?! I got the strawberry field salad and that was very good. For dessert we ordered the flourless chocolate cake.... It took almost 20 min to bring it out. We ordered it to go because there was a storm rolling and we wanted to get back to the hotel before it dumped rain. We almost left without the cake bet it shouldn't have taken that long! Overall the food is good , pricey but good.

I choose this place with high score by yelp for dinner. House was pretty full but they had high table for me alone. In addition of my beer I ordered a Fried calamari for appetizer and Margarita. Just different foods from what I usually eat. The Calamari came but on marinara sauce and mayo on the Calamari. I want sauce on the side and no mayo on the top. I want control how much sauce depends on taste of sauce. Mayo killed all flavors of food. The Margarita looked good but this dow taste so plain without wheat and yeast flavor. Tomato sauce probably house made but too sour. Thus, looking great pizza but taste not. Such a great place and services but sorry just half the star because of the foods.

Cheers! Enjoying drinks and dinner .

Upon entering, there's a long bar where many people gather to sample various wines. There's also an extensive offering of potential gifts if you choose. Yes, pricey, but fun to browse. The overall ambiance is what I would describe as upscale casual, but you can also dress up as much as you'd like. It's a sophisticated and yet comfortable environment and the staff members we encountered were very welcoming and attentive. We had a reservation and were seated promptly. Our server, Taylor, was the absolute best!!! We started off with Lemon Drop Martinis that were perfect. (I took lots of pics but not of the martinis because we were thirsty!) We had narrowed our entree selections of salmon down to two and Taylor gave us her honest opinion of what she preferred while also telling us that the other option was very popular. Both my friend and I ordered the lighter salmon entree that was served with lemon and lots of vegetables. (I had previously had the miso soy glazed salmon with coleslaw, which was amazing.) I did not regret trying the lighter version of salmon with the vegetables and finger potatoes. The combination was perfect and the salmon was excellent and not at all fatty. Btw, the calorie count was 570 for this entree... Gotta love that! Since my friend reminded Taylor that we were celebrating my birthday, she brought out truffles with a candle. It was a very sweet and special way to end the evening- even though neither of us could eat another bite. It was boxed up and I put it in the fridge to share with my mom in the next day or so. While my experience at Cooper's Hawk sometimes varies between a 4-5 star experience, tonight was definitely 5 stars! Highly recommend!

They offer 2 no cost wine tastings as part of your meal but we did not partake. We had a reservation which is a must on a Saturday evening. You can also participate in wine tasting while you wait for a table. The tables are nicely spaced so you aren't sitting extremely close to others and being interrupted by conversation from other tables. The location is able to accommodate large groups and intimate dining. Our server was new but knowledgeable about the menu. Since we were first time customers, there is a required upsell speech that we were not interested in as people that don't enjoy wine and had no interest in a wine club so our server shortened that up for us. We are grateful for her ability to read the room. We tried the caprese flat bread for our appetizer. The bread is thin and crispy and toppings were flavorful but not overpowering. It was a light and enjoyable starter. The balsamic could have been stronger for our taste but overall, the dish was good. Our server brought out "complementary fresh baked pretzel bread". It looked lovely and had a crisp outer shell but was frozen in the middle. After completing our appetizer, we waited 40 minutes for our food to arrive to the table. Our server informed us that the short rib risotto I had order was the hold up as the short ribs were "just coming out of the oven". When our meal arrived the presentation was lovely; however, my "short rib" which was actually a large, tough, lukewarm piece of chuck roast served over mashed potatoes with grilled vegetables (not mushroom risotto) was less than I had hoped. On the bright side, those roasted veggies were top notch and the gravy which was necessary to choke down the tough meat was really quite tasty. Unfortunately, my husband's steak was also overcooked. He agreed that the vegetables were the best part of the meal. We skipped dessert as we had experienced enough disappointment for one night. The ambiance was nice, our server was pleasant and knowledgeable, the food just didn't make the grade.
