Great and imaginative menu. Cute spot. Didn't have reservations so sat at the bar. Was met by a super friendly bartender that took good care of us. Menu was thru a QR code...ugh! But luckily they provided an iPad with the menu loaded so it came in a larger format. Started with a Cops de Garcia red wine, then a Gillis con bacalao, followed by a duck paella and a carrier's de cardo. All were delicious with presented beautifully. Each dish had subtle and unique flavors that blended well together. The portions were on the small side but great nonetheless. An enjoyable evening!
We came in for dinner and although we did not have a reservation, they are able to take us without a wait. The place is small and feels like you're walking through a labyrinth. It has a very intimate feel, and they have interesting photography and artwork on display. Our server was friendly and was able to give great recommendations about the menu. One of my favorite things was that the wine menu is on a tablet, you can select the wine and read about the various notes and see what foods will pair well with it. Based on the server's recommendations, we ordered the duck and mushroom paella along with the classic seafood paella. The duck mushroom paella was so delicious and flavorful. I think we should have tried the seafood paella first, since it seemed underwhelming after eating the mushroom duck paella. The tortilla de Betanzo was simple and delicious. The scallops were accompanied by an amazing sauce, that left me wanting more. For dessert, we ordered the tarta de queso ahumado, such unique and well blended flavors. The food was a bit pricey but the quality was great.
This eatery blew me away with the authentic taste and quality that I expected. Brandon (calbo) was our waiter,server, jokester, and overall great guy. We ordered a number of specialties and they ALL were on point and soooo delicious. The restaurant was not crowded so we lucked out or perhaps maybe because it happened to be a Sunday. Will eat here again when in BCN.
Arume is one of the popular spots in Barcelona for paella, but specifically the duck paella. It's special because you don't often find a duck paella on the menu. Be aware that you don't get the socarrat (crispy bottom) that many paellas have, but the flavor itself is still worthwhile. The restaurant is located along some "sketchy" alleys, but just head straight here and out. Once inside, it's led into multiple rooms into the back that feels like an underground cave. To start off, we had some Bread (€1.50), Butifa Croquettes (€3/pcs), and Bay Scallop (€7.50/pcs). The bread came with a tube of olive oil, which was pretty cool way to be served. The croquette and scallop were both good, although quite pricey for each item. For main entrees, we shared the Iberian Pork (€22.50) and Duck Paella (€18.50). Both of these dishes were incredibly flavorful and delicious. The sauce on the dish was savory and this meat was so tender. The paella was also full of flavor balanced with the cream mixture. It's more similar to a porridge consistency, but still so tasty. This dish is just so unique that you need to try it for yourself. Overall, delicious food, dim-lit environment, and friendly customer service. It's a pricier meal, but everything we had was delicious.
I was responsible for locking a great dinner for my last night in BCN. Yelp reviews looked promising, but this place topped all expectations. Service was great, but the food? Oh my. The fish in the ceviche was a tender as sushi, perfectly marinated with a nice combination in pomegranate and corn nut crunches. The scallop in corn was one of may favorite dishes I've eaten in forever. The seafood paella was a perfect as I could have hoped. I would go back in a heartbeat if I wasn't thousands of miles away now.
The service here was so wonderful. We loved Emmy! The location is not great and it was hard to find the place, but worth looking for. We tried the octopus and the tortilla de patata and liked both. We loved the duck paella! We also had the marisco paella but two out of four of us did not love it. Overall it was great and we'd love to come back!
One of the highest Yelp ranked places in Barcelona and I know why. The food is delicious, the staff are full of smiles and the price is very reasonable. It's a cute restaurant with a warm environment as soon as you walk in. Items we tried: scallop- wow, fresh and they top it off with something crunchy with a little sauce. Fantastic! Duck paella - first time eating duck paella and absolutely delicious! Bread - bread is fresh and great tasting olive oil to go with it. Simple yet delicious.
Skip this place. First time in Barcelona, super excited to try seafood Paella in Spain. Worst paella I've ever had, flavor was awful. Also worst and most expensive meal I had in Barcelona. We had a paella cooking class scheduled elsewhere that week, I was going to cancel thinking if this is what Paella tastes like in Spain no thanks, thankfully the paella we made in class was delicious, thus confirming it's just this place that has bad paella. I think people see the good reviews and feel bad leaving an honest one, but it was so disappointing I feel it's only fair to honestly warn others because we wish we skipped this place. Also Sangria is flavorless due to being watered down.
One of the best meals I had in Barcelona. There are so many tapas and paella spots that it's hard to find one that really stands out, but I was wrong. Everything I had at Arume stood out. From the layout of the place (there was clear glass over a well that you walk over as decoration) to the music choices, the vibes were just on par. We asked the waiter to choose a white and red for us that she recommended. Each bottle she chose for us was delicious and right on the nose of what we had wanted. Appetizers -- We got the baked scallops (comes 2 per order) and the calamari. Both were flavorful and delicious. Main course -- Get the duck paella! If nothing else, I hope you at least try that. The duck paella is nothing I had like before. There were duck chunks, the flavor was on point and not too salty, and the cream on top helps balance out the flavors. The waiter said it was a single person portion, but we weren't too hungry and had order a lot of apps, along with fried pumpkin, that it was just the right size for 4 people. Dessert -- We were recommended the cheesecake brulee. It was not too sweet, nice and fluffy. Highly recommend making reservations to this place if you're traveling to Barcelona!
Contrary to popular opinion, Arume was pretty mediocre to me. Perhaps I had high expectations for this and it fell short of my expectations or I just ordered the wrong items. I may have not been impressed with my meal here, but other than that the service and hospitality made my experience quite pleasant. We made reservations for 8pm on a Wednesday night. Upon arrival, I was relieved we made reservations because the restaurant seemed rather small, but we soon found out that there's an extensive back area to the restaurant. We ordered the octopus tempura, ceviche, seafood paella and 2 drinks to share. I didn't love the texture of both the ceviche and octopus, but the shining factor of both dishes were the sauces drizzled on top of it. They really elevated the dish much more and helped the flavors of the seafood shine. A lot of people recommended the duck paella, but we opted for seafood paella just because of personal preference. Maybe that's where we went wrong, because I thought the paella was just average. The drinks, on the other hand, were delicious! I would come back here just for the blackberry mojito.
We were SO excited to try this, but had an odd experience. The octopus appetizer was pre-cooked; I know this because the flavor was excellent but it was barely warm AND lightly fried. I even had a cold bite. The scallop I received was raw. The second one tasted like vanilla instead of truffle. The croquet was nice but I personally did not care for the flavor. The duck paella was actually not good- too little duck, too rich. Maybe it's me- I did not enjoy the flavor at all. The wine tablet was very cool; lots of details on the wines; loved that! The ambiance was just weird. I felt scared walking away from the restaurant- creepy guys walking around and women in full burkas. I don't know what has happened to this area of town, but I no longer feel safe here. I don't understand how this place is so well regarded on TripAdvisor or here. tucked in a local alleyway, this place set the standard for legit paella. great blackberry mojito (could be stronger), heavenly duck paella, perfectly fried pulpo, and fresh tataki de dorado. loved the vibe, and the friendly staff. def making a second trip before we leave. read more

A MUST TRY! I would give Arume more stars if I could! Duck paella. Changed my life. Best food I've ever had. There are other dishes that were great as well but the duck paella was everything. I was so sad when we finished it. Duck paella. On the night we went there was a prix fixe menu. The other dishes we ordered off of it were: the beef tartare, sea bass ceviche, beef cheeks, and each of the dessert items. But duck paella was clearly the star. In each of the dishes, all the ingredients worked well with each other. For the beef tartare, it was probably one of the best, if not the best, I've ever had! What seem like simple ingredients were combined and layered nicely to leave a deliciously memorable flavor. The seabass ceviche had a lovely soup at the end, and I enjoyed the toasted corn bits. The beef cheeks was amazing! It was nicely topped with a sauce with hints of apricot. The flan like dessert was fine but the gelato dessert with the pop rocks and a cookie was what ended my meal well. But nothing was better than the duck paella. It was just so damn good...! Duck paella! The service can be slow, but the staff was super friendly and from what I can tell accommodating. Our dinner turned into a late-night outing and I didn't care that it did. The food was worth the wait. Reco - come early or make reservations (and don't be late!!!). We were in BCN during world mobile Congress so our walking in early plan didn't work but we got seated and had the best food experience ever. Duck paella! (For those interested, the duck paella had a very warm, homey flavor that was comforting to eat. It reminded me of a Korean dish called jangjorim. The paella was accompanied with a garlic whip, but the garlic didn't over power it in any way. It was a pleasant surprise and it did change the flavor of the paella, but in a good way.) read more

We decided to check paella off our list at this restaurant because the pictures and reviews looked too good to pass up. They do take reservations so if you can make one, do it. We came before it opened and there was already a line out the door! Thankfully they were able to seat us without a reservation. They were super busy already and they took quite a looonggg time to get our order. About 20 mins. We ordered the octopus and mussels for apps, and both the paella's to try (seafood & duck) and my aunts bf ordered a chicken dish off the menu. The apps came in pretty quick which was good. The octopus was super soft and came with this nice sauce. I would recommend that. The mussels were average. Now between the 2 paella's, the duck is definitely better! Super flavorful and it came with this garlic cream sauce. It was good. The seafood was good as well but it was a little on the salty side. My aunts bf really loved his chicken dish. 4 nights into Barcelona and be said that's the best dish he had so far, which shocked me. (he is SUPER picky that's why and doesn't eat anything) Glad he enjoyed that. We ordered sangria and a blackberry mojito as well. We didn't know that we had a choice to choose between a red, white, or a sparking Spanish? wine of sangria until we heard the waiter said it to the party next to us. We were not given that option and assumed they gave us the Spanish one because it was a little fizzy. The party near us got their paellas before us and we sat and ordered first. Prepare to wait a while if they're busy which seems to always be the case. It was hard to flag someone because we were seated upstairs. So during our visit to Barcelona we wanted a good place for paella, we were staying about a 5min walk from this place and looked at the reviews and decide we wanted to give it a try. We did make a reservation beforehand, so I will recommend to do so at least the night before. When we got there we got acknowledged and sat right away. There were two waiters which were very helpful and just awesome. We started with the Sangria and BlackBerry mojito; both were tasty. Then we started with the Spanish tortilla (which was DELICIOUS) and the chorizo tacos (forgot the actual name). Both were phenomenal. Main dishes were the Duck paella (which I'm still having dreams about) and the lamb shoulder because the special was not being served that night. Both dishes were beyond what we could've wanted! It was just a great experience and DELICIOUS! read more

Arume has been our best find in Barcelona. Tucked away in a neighborhood, it is a special find. We were welcomed and served enthusiastically. We started with the special burrata salad, the ceviche, and the Thai mussels. All were terrific, but the ceviche was my favorite. The three of us shared the duck and seafood paellas - plenty of food and the best we've had. The bottle of house wine was a perfect complement. We finished with the bread pudding ("Torrija de Manuel") and cookie with violet ice cream. Yes, this was the most expensive dinner we have had in Spain, but still a bargain compared to a similar quality restaurant in the US. read more

Arume was superlative with just two minor flaws. One, the Duck Paella was like a soupy porridge. And two, the Duck Paella was mushy mush. Now I realize that, technically speaking, that's only one flaw, but it was worth mentioning twice. Otherwise, there is A LOT to like about Arume. The Vibe: Alive and cozy! Arume is popular. No res means bar seating only AND a wait. The Drinks: * House Sangria was fruity ... I mean FRUITY! * Blackberry Mojito was dark and fruity fun. * Hendricks's Gin & Tonic was refreshing with cucumber slices. The Service: Arume is soooo busy, but the crew were busting their butts to serve everyone with a smile. Gràcies! Fantastic Food: * Sea Bream Flame Tataki Perfection should be added to the list of ingredients including Seaweed, Pickles, Spring Onions, and Salmon Caviar. * Milk Lamb with Glazed Eggplant and Sour Cream The flavors and tender meat were wonderful. My only wish is that it was larger so I could enjoy it even more. Fair Food: * Uncle Walter's Ceviche Walter must be a cooler uncle than mine because his ceviche with Almond Milk, Pomegranate, and Pine Nuts is cool. * Pan Artesano Bread and Olive Oil The little tube of olive oil and fresh bread were a good match. Food Fail: Duck Paella with Padron Peppers The duck flavor was fine, but overwhelmed by the cream while the peppers added no spice or zest. It would of been ok except the rice mix was a congee-style paella and I now realize I don't like that style of paella. Otherwise, Arume was a wonderful (and popular) dinner discovery in Barcelona. I recommend getting reservations and overlooking the flawed duck paella. read more

Had an amazing meal here. Started with the blackberry mojito that was refreshing and the steak tartare appetizer that was tasty. Our main course was the delicious duck paella which was paired nicely with a suggested Penedes The service was immaculate and the ambiance was nicely relaxed. Highly recommended! read more
Food: duck paella was a bit salty, but seriously amazing. I had to wait awhile for the food, but it was so worth it!!! Ceviche- very good, seafood was very fresh and with great flavor. They give you a ton of fish too, not just veggies and fruits. SangriA- order a pitcher. You'll thank me later. Overall, more expensive for tapas. But honestly worth it for quality of food and service! read more
Made a reservation online and came for dinner. Would definitely recommend making a reservation although you can get seated if you just show up, it might take a while. Started with the fish tempura and the crispy octopus. Both were tasty and not heavily battered and I would highly recommend both. Also tried the grilled calamari with fennel. The calamari was good and the fennel added an interesting flavor. For the mains I tried the duck paella and the beef cheek.They were both wonderful in very different ways. The paella was great, and the duck is their signature paella. The beef cheek was tender and fell apart in my mouth. The tonka bean panda cotta and torrija de Manuel ended our meal. Both were good but probably overkill on a great meal. One of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona! read more
This place was a little overrated in my opinion and it was located in a dark alleyway. I was recommended to go here bc it's one of the few places where you can order a personal sized paella. We went for the duck which was AMAZING, don't get me wrong, but I felt like our waiter took advantage of our lack of knowledge and upsold us on the size considering he knew we also ordered other things. We inquired if the "one person" paella would suffice for two people and he said no. He lied. It was so flavorful and they were generous with the duck but bc we got the bigger size, we just got so sick of it so fast. The scallops had great flavor and texture, but for 15 euros a piece, it wasn't worth it. The curry mussels were also good but nothing to write home about. I also ordered their blackberry mojito which was fantastic! It was a creeper, one of those babies messed me the hell up. I can't remember the exact price but I recall it being more than what it was worth and the service was slow. read more

One of the best meals I had in Barcelona within the few days I was there. I found this place through Trip Advisor and the reviews did not disappoint. I worked with Arantxa on arranging reservations and because we had a group of 8+, we had to choose a course menu. 4 appetizers to share, 3 entrees to choose from, and a dessert. Plus a bottle of wine for every 2 people! Depending on menu items it ranges from 40-60 euros per person. We were able to swap some choices around which was great! Each dish I tried was amazing. We had (disclaimer: the names were much more descriptive): 1. Crispy octopus 2. Ceviche 3. Steak Tartare 4. Bread with some amazing EVOO 5. Glazed calamari 6. Iberian pork ribs 7. Duck paella 8. Violet ice cream My whole team and I loved every single thing about our meal, and more importantly, it was CHEAP! Please make reservations at Arume while in Barcelona. read more
They had everything firing on all cylinders this night. The service was friendly, efficient and top notch. Every dish we ordered was great, it felt like they just kept one upping one and another. Our preference was for the duck over seafood paella. If you are Barcelona make sure to stop by and indulge. read more

This place is truly fantastic, the menus are different and all excellent. The staff was thoughtful and very knowledgeable about the food. I had booked this to celebrate a birthday and the staff was awesome in making it special for us. Highly recommend and will return. read more
Had my first authentic paella here just last night. The restaurant itself is a bit quaint so if they're closed you might miss it if you're not paying attention. We couldn't make reservations earlier on but there was an older couple ahead of us who said they had told him that there were a couple of bar spots available so we stayed in line. When the doors opened, the hostess alternated between seating reservations and a few people without one which I thought was really nice. After telling us she had a table for us she said the only catch was that she'd need it back by 8:30 which was more than enough time for us and we didn't feel rushed whatsoever. Their sangria was so beautiful and delicious and the paella itself was outstanding. Definitely recommend Arume to anyone in Barcelona-tourist or not! read more
You can't go to Barcelona and not have Paella. But when you are traveling alone, it is hard to find a place that serves paella for one. Not only do they make paella as many or as few people as you want, it was delicious! The service and everything that I had for dinner was excellent. I'm so glad that I found this place. read more

Came here for a late Barcelona dinner on a Thursday night. We arrived around 20 minutes prior to closing but the food and service was still excellent! We started with the blackberry mojitos which were so delicious. Fresh blackberry juice, not syrupy and not too sweet. It was loaded with tons of mint and garnished with blackberry, raspberry and some indigenous fruit from South America. I started with the ceviche which was unlike anything I'd ever had before. It was fermented in almond milk along with the usual citrus juices and also featured watermelon. So fresh and so delicious. For my main course I had the seafood paella which was chock full of shrimp, octopus, mussels, and oysters. Decadent, flavorful and so satisfying. The service was outstanding our waitresses were super friendly. I definitely recommend checking it out! read more
1st, I wish we would have made reservations but they were still able to fit us in, Great News 7! 2nd this place is cute & touristy and when you see and smell the food you know why! 3rd, if you are tall like me watch your head. Service was outstanding and the food will not disappoint. We had the duck and seafood paella and we loved our dishes. The drinks were on point, when you get a chance to eat here the sangria and blackberry mojito are a must have...other than that the experience was great and we look forward to going back one day. read more
This place is a must! Reservations a day or two prior recommended! This place gets packed fast and the wait can be long even with reservations! We waited around 45 mins to an hour from when our reservations was sche for but I promise the wait is worth it! The food was absolutely mouth watering, definitely take recommendations from the server, they know exactly what will please you! Our server was amazing, we told him exactly what we liked and the kitchen came out with the most authentic dishes we'd had during our trip to Spain! My favorite was the seafood paella, seasoning wasn't too spicy and just the right amount of flavoring! If you're a fan of takoyaki then the crispy octopus is definitely a must! read more

Came here with reservations booked a few months ahead while planning for our trip to Barcelona. We had a huge group of 19 and the restaurant accommodated our party. Instead of ordering a la carte, we decided at the time of booking that we were going to order their set meals. They offered a 40 euro and a 60 euro menu, and each "order" was meant for 2 people and also came with a bottle of wine. Basically, we ordered 5 of the 40 euro menu and 5 of the 60 euro menu. Upon arrival and getting seated at two big tables, it seemed a bit chaotic on the outside because the servers weren't too sure how to give us all the food that we wanted, but they somehow made it work and we just decided to swap plates back and forth between our two tables. All of the food was delicious. Stand-outs included the duck paella, the dry aged beef, the scallops, the mussels (some of the best I've had actually!), and the Iberian pork (don't be afraid of the fact that it's raw...or well at least I didn't and I'm here writing my review feeling just fine). Big shoutout to our server, who was so patient, funny, and friendly. He kept our glasses filled and constantly came to check on us so he could clear off empty dishes and bring on more food. While the set menu generally allowed us to either make a choice between the white and red wines, he also gave us the option of picking cava and sangria, which was wonderful. So good that we went here two nights in a row. Barcelona is known for its amazing food and tapas, but Arume was the highlight of my entire trip in Spain and easily tops all dishes I tried. We got there at 10pm with no reservation and had to wait about 40 minutes. The place is small but constantly packed, so make reservations ahead of time if you can. Well worth the wait. The atmosphere is wonderful. A little more compact than I expected but so cozy and lively. Our server truly made the experience. She was filled with laughter and energy. What was even better was the food. Arume is famous for their duck paella so we had to order it. We also got the Thai curry mussels, tacos, calamari, seafood paella, and all of the desserts. This was probably one of my most memorable and top food experiences in awhile. The duck paella lived up to its hype. Creamy, salty, and extremely flavorful (not to mention piping hot!! Be careful!). The portion size was good enough to split for two, although one alone can definitely finish it given how tasty it is. I prefer the duck over the seafood, so if you had to pick one, duck would be it. The curry mussels also stole the show. I would skip the tacos as it was average at best, but every other menu on the item won't disappoint. We topped it off with their creative dessert menu. Again, interesting flavors I would've never tried by myself but here it was presented well. If I ever come back to Barcelona, this will be my first stop. read more

! BOOK AHEAD ! We booked for right on opening time for 7 PM which is nowhere near peak dinnertime in Barcelona and yet there was still a queue of people waiting outside and it became instantly packed. I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time to avoid disappointment. You can easily book online which is what we did. --- ~ Atmosphere: Arume has a lovely romantic atmosphere. It's situated in a forgotten alleyway and would be quite the epitome of hole in the wall because there is literally not much else in that alley. When walking here, we definitely had to stop and check a few times because we thought we were in the wrong place! ~ Customer Service: The customer service here was lovely. Everyone was seated promptly and food came out a lot quicker than expected given the large amount of tables who all came in at once. I was most definitely very impressed with their efficiency. A massive round of applause to the chefs! ~ Food: Everything we tried was stunningly delicious. I'll give the rundown: STARTERS: -- Spanish Betanzos Tortilla with Iberian pork pancetta (9 euros) -- Basically an egg omelette with pancetta inside. Honestly I had no idea what I ordered when I got this. I was expected a flour tortilla so I didn't realise it would more like an egg omelette. However, it was AMAZING! The egg was perfectly cooked and just the right amount of runny in the middle. It was stuffed with potatoes as well which paired perfectly with the egg and soaked up all the flavours. -- Atlantic fish tempura, lime, ginger and citrus mayonnaise (10 euros) -- Perfectly fried fish and the mayonnaise was delicious! -- "The Galician emigrant" Chorizo taco, cottage cheese, chipotle and " pico de gallo " (9 euros) -- Came with 2 tacos to share and tasted great! -- Duck paella rice with Padrón peppers (16.50 euros) -- We ordered a smaller portion that was for a single person which lowered the price (I forgot to how much). For 2 people it was MASSIVE so well worth the price tag. To be honest, this was my least favourite dish ironically because I felt it was a little underseasoned in contrast to some reviewers saying it was too salty. -- Milk lamb -- I forgot how much it was but I believe it was just a little under 20 euros. It came with aubergine and some soured cream. The lamb was perfectly cooked and very delicious. Funnily enough the aubergine on the side was some of the best aubergine I've ever had! --- I'd be really keen to come back to Arume to try some of the other dishes they have on offer. Everything we saw come out on other tables looked awesome and we really enjoyed our own meals! The price is not too heavy for what you get and it was well worth it. read more
Definitely make a reservation. This was easily performed online. We walked to the restaurant from a rental apartment about 10 minute walk. The neighborhood in which the restaurant is located is off the tourist path and thus more locals. The other restaurants and shops in the narrower walk paths are also not as glitzy. The entrance of the restaurant is snug and where the can seat some walk up diners (this is NOT a good idea as the wait will be long and the seats awkward at best- make a reservation). We were seated in a back room. The seating is spacious but the air temperature is a bit warm for a person from Seattle. This is the only reason I gave it a 4 star instead of five. The air conditioning was just not enough for me and my group and thus we are and literally ran out skipping desert so as to be able to cool off in the hot and humid summer air of Barcelona. We had 5-6 starters. All were really nice, two fresh fish appetizers. Spanish omelette, eggplant, and the tempura fish. My favorite was the gazpacho. We ordered all the paella- seafood, duck and lobster. These were all good. The seafood and the lobster were essentially the same and thus I recommend just the seafood. The duck paella had a very interesting flavor and was my favorite. The wine list was ok and we had a rioja which was chilled but warmed to room rapidly (due to room temperature situation). Prices very reasonable, heavily influenced by the wine prices being so reasonable. The wine was very nice and about 25 euros. Prices for all the paella was reasonable and really reasonable to share with 2 per order. Overall we will come back. We will make a reservation on line, take a cab instead of walking through the neighborhood and take a cab home. We will hope for a table in the front room. read more

This was my second favorite dinning experience in Barcelona which, coincidentally, is owned by the incredibly hospitable Eduardo. The food is Galician and delicious. We started off the night with their signature cocktail, blueberry mojito, which is made with freshly made blueberry juice and you can tell the difference immediately upon the first sip. The food was even better. Our party of five opted for the following dishes: octopus , corvina ceviche, fresh tagliatelle and prawns, duck pella, seafood paella, and a burrata salad. They were all delicious as were the desserts(deconstructed flan, which was really a pana cotta, and a delicious bakes cookie with lilac gelato). We have found this nice restaurant on Yelp. We cam here with a group of 5 people and every one ordered one starter and one main course. We ended up ordering more than 10 dishes and two bottles of wine and blackberry cocktail: cod, beef, oysters, clams, duck...,etc and the bill came to about 220 euros, which is about 55 euros per head with drink. Everything has lovely taste and is very compliment to each other. The food has distinctive taste on it own. The price is reasonable regarding the quality of the food we had. I highly recommend that you book one day in advance. We definitely came back here to enjoy all of the food. There is another sister restaurant nearby and you also need to book in advance too. read more
Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff, amazing food. Came here for paella and ended up getting (and falling in love with) several other dishes. I can not stress how delicious and reasonably priced everything was. I never write reviews but after dining here I felt like a had to. 10/10!! read more
10/10 duck paella!! And mussels were super juicy and delicious. We shared a bottle of wine but the sangria looked really pretty and tasty. I'd definitely recommend it based on my neighbors feedback. A sharing of one serving for two people and other dishes is satisfying. We accidentally ordered a serving for 2 but still finished it because it was that good. Highly recommend coming during slower times or calling for a reservation. We got really lucky and waited less than 30 minutes but other folks waited an hour or more and others after us got turned away. read more

A must-visit place for dinner if you're in Barcelona more than a few days. We started off with a pitcher of sangria at the bar while we waited for a table. Be careful of the plexiglass floor when you enter the second dining room - too much sangria and you'll think you're falling! We shared many dishes, all of which I'd have again: Pulpo Crocante (Crispy Octopus), Alcachofas Templadas (Warm Artichokes), Ceviche de Tio Walter (lol, Uncle Walter's Ceviche), Vieiras (Scallops), and of course the Paella Arume (their seafood paella). Everything was lovely - tasty, cooked to perfection with different temperatures and textures. The portions are small so you'll order a lot of food! To drink at dinner I enjoyed some cava, which was served with a baby heirloom tomato. Definitely recommend and definitely would return. read more

This is a little gem of a restaurant. It is an unpretentious looking place that delivers in so many ways - quality of food and exceptional service. We loved it so much that we booked a reservation for the next Saturday evening. Try their duck paella if you really aren't sure what to get, but the whole menu is awesome. read more
