Let me begin by saying that Dr. Srivatsa and his team are wonderful. First, every time I had an appointment, I was never kept waiting. In fact, I would show up early and was almost always taken early. Compared to the half hour or hour waits I had in the past, this was a pleasant change. As for Dr. Srivatsa, he is one of the best doctors I have ever dealt with. From the moment I met with him, he genuinely seemed to care about my health. He was attentive, asked appropriate questions, developed different options for me and was overall very easy to speak to. He is also clearly very intelligent. Dr. Srivatsa personally performed for me. He did a great job of explaining this ahead of time and the procedure itself went off without any problems. Costs were explained up front and the surgery center staff were excellent. Dr. Srivatsa is a great doctor by all means. I first went to him in April 2021 for a consultation. The following month I had my colonoscopy done by him, didn't feel a thing. After that, being on a medication and many follow up video appointments, he doesn't seem to ever have clear guidelines nor is consistent in terms of when to take specific tests (stool test especially) or when to increase or reduce my dosage. Instead, mentioned I'd have to go life long on this medication without a clear criteria for my left sided ulcerative colitis/IBD. Because we got tired of hearing the same answers, I switched my gastroenterologist to Stanford and even the doctor there is serious about taking care of your health, has a guideline and is consistent on when to take tests, reduce the dosage at a certain threshold, when to go for a procedure and even possibly even getting off a medication. read more

Long overdue review. Mom had pain in her lower stomach for a few months and I had researched the doctor online before taking her to see him. Worst fears came true - her colonoscopy showed cancer. But Dr. Srivatsa reassured from the beginning that he would help us all the way till she was cured... And now several months later, she has had surgery and is now finishing her course of Chemo and feels great (considering...). All in all, she's (& I) very happy that he diagnosed her and referred her to the correct specialists for her care. Dr.Srivatsa is a great doctor. He knows what he's doing and he truly cares for his patients. His office is conveniently located and parking is easy. He shares an office with another doctor: so make sure you check in for the right one. Like the other reviews say here, he spends time with you but isn't chatty: he'll get straight to the point and won't mess around. If you want to chat and gossip : go to the bar with your girlfriends, he ain't got time for that ! Can I give more stars? I'm in a bit of a PTSD state over my health and having to see yet another doctor was about to send me over the edge but Dr. Srivatsa was so helpful. The procedure was scheduled quickly and he was kind and gentle with me that I was able to handle it all with ease. He is clearly knowledgable, thorough and understanding. It's also remarkable to find a doctor who is so quick to respond and personally reachable. I have had two colonoscopies with Dr. S so far... I have found him professional and I have felt very comfortable in his care. No pain or discomfort after the tests. He recommended iron tablets for my condition. After trying these for a few weeks I found I could not handle the side effects. He had patience dealing with my condition. Dr. Srivatsa is for my son's Crohn's disease, nice and patient, when I complained about wrong billing code caused four month insurance denial issue to us, not like other "busy no time to talk to you" type of doctors, he helped and eased my frustration and anger with frank and friendly communication, and also help us for other doctors' second opinion with professional and sincere attitude. Personal issues LOL. But I can definitely say, Dr.S has got the magic hands in the business of the butts. From the first time I met him in the crowded office (Friday afternoon is packed), he was gentle and calm, reassuring at all times. I do not wait very long in the room to see him and he spends ample time with me. my only 2 complaints are the long phone wait times and the poor follow up from the staff regarding authorizations. I was lucky to be treated by Dr. S: I was referred to him urgently by my surgeon after my gallbladder surgery: a stone apparently went into my liver plumbing and I was turning deep yellow! Dr. S saw me over the weekend at the hospital and did a procedure to get the stone out. Eternally grateful! read more
