This is from my visit about a month ago but I'm still a bit upset so I'm leaving this review. This was my first stop once everything started opening up beauty wise and I was so excited because my regular brow place is closed it this one had so many good reviews. I wanted to make sure the eyebrows I had taken months to grow out had a perfect shape since they were a blank canvas at this point. I even made an appointment so that she was not rushed and we could really take a moment to do them. She was very nice and seemed to have everything clean due to Covid but she rushed my brows. There was no one else in the place so not sure why she was rushing. She took a chunk out of my right eyebrow and the left was not even cleaned up that much. I went to another place a couple of weeks ago and they said it would be a couple of months if not more to grow them out. I am so disappointed and wish this could have been my new place since it's so close. I also hope this helps someone who is looking for a new place like I was. She could have had a customer for life but didn't seem to really care and was just trying to go back to her phone call. read more

I went in today with my 12, almost 13 year old daughter and they did a great job on both of us. My child walked out still looking like a child but well groomed and my brows remained full and nicely shaped. Price is great. I will definitely be back! read more

Aruna is a magician! Not only does she take the time to tweak my brows and shape them to my specific preferences, but she remembers me and exactly how I like my brows -- even though I only come in every couple of months! I'm so happy to have found her, and can't imagine going anywhere else now. read more

I like coming here to get my brows done, but I won't be back until more infection control measures are put into place. There is a temperature screen, 1 customer in the store at a time, spraying down the chair after every customer, along with everyone wearing a mask. My problem is the lady doing everyone's brows is wearing the same gloves to do your brows on multiple clients, wears those same gloves to wipe down the chair, and handle money (it's currently cash only, cash is dirty)!!! In between these activities the lady used hand sanitizer to sanitize the same pair of gloves over and over and over again. I see a lot of cross contamination here!! Stop wearing gloves!! If you wear gloves... they are used for procedures that are one time use. Hand sanitizer sticks to the glove and the moisture causes more germ/bacteria build up. Please change your practices!! Wow! I've been to many threading places for 10 years and this is by far the best I've ever been to. My skin is very sensitive and usually I am in deep pain while getting threaded but not here! Also, she's fast and thorough and of course my brows look amazing. read more

Aruna always gets me together. I love my eyebrows. She's super fast and she always gives me the perfect shape for my brows. $10 for brows and $4 for upper lip. And there is plenty of parking at this location. read more

I LOVE coming here always leave my brows looking nice. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Due to COVID they have been closed but when they could reopen it was only through appointment and only two people allowed inside. If there was already two people inside they would make you wait in your car which is awesome! Prices have gone up but that's understandable. They're super clean about the whole process making sure to clean the chair after each client and sanitizing there equipment. Also the lady doing your brows wears a face shield to protect herself and you from germs. You do have to wear a mask because it's mandatory and common decency. ( wear your masks people) Washes her hands before she starts on your brows and wears gloves. Overall 5/5 and has been 5/5 for the 3 years that I've been coming here. Absolutely love it. My review for this place is Three years too late! I have been going to Aruna for the past three years. I started at her first location and then followed her to her second. My girlfriend and I would go with Aruna any where she went Lol No lie! After trying numerous places since my LA move I was tired of the disappointment I would have after trying other spots. But when I gave Aruna a try for the first time she made me and my girlfriend feel so happy about how great of a job she did. She is a great owner, always friendly and willing to be around the shop for her customers when they need her. I will always be a loyal customer. Her La Brea location has great parking. But both store locations are just as great as the next. Both are in the Hollywood area so great for locals and tourist. I recommend both from those crowds to go and pay her a visit. Her staff are just a great and friendly too. When you go, go with an open mind to having someone new do your eyebrows and tell her Vito sent you ;) read more

Aruna studios , I have been coming here for about a few years now . Well to there old location in Hollywood . I would always park in that lonely street near the studios now that they have this location here on la Brea . So convenient for me : free parking , a bank near by and also target is across the street. This is only the location; now let's talk about they're service for their eyebrows , I never complain about my eyebrows ever . Every time I walk out I feel fresh and new . I never seem to even look in the mirror after Aruna is my main person to go to . She's always kind and smiling , always remembers when I was pregnant and asks about my kids . I love the ambience they shed in there location . Just one small tip maybe when we refer people . How about a discount or an extra stamp for change . I have sent so many people to both locations . I generally hate getting my eyebrows threaded but it's a necessity that I have to do at least once a month or things will get hairy. I like going here because Aruna is always very nice and Professional. She gets the job done within a few minutes and my brows look normal once again. There's plenty of parking in the lot and you can even pay with Venmo, which is very convenient. read more

I've been going to Aruna for a couple of years, originally when she was in Hollywood and followed her to her new location in West Hollywood which, even though father away, is located in a strip mall with easy parking. Aruna does a good job and I had been happy with her service, but I don't think I'll be coming back. Why? Because my skin is really sensitive and although she shapes them nicely, I always leave nixed and cut up from the thread and so it takes several days for the skin to heal. She takes an average of 3 minutes per appointment. I started looking around and found another place closer to me (Tatiana Brow Bar in Eagle Rock) that is the same price, and Tatiana is meticulous. She spent at least 10 minutes sculpting, tweazing, etc and she was so gentle and I didn't have any cuts. read more

Loved my first experience here! I just moved here from another part of LA and had to give up my old eyebrow threading studio. Aruna did an amazing job with my eyebrows and did it faster than anyone I've ever been to - talk about efficiency. This is the best threading studio in LA! I found it on yelp 3 years ago and go every month now. This new location is great with tons of free parking right out front. It's only $9.99 for eyebrows and the owner Aruna is so lovely. Although Aruna is always in the studio when busy the other ladies always do a wonderful job as well. I get so many compliments on my eyebrows. read more

I've been going to Aruna for years for my brows at her Hollywood location and when she opened this 2nd location I couldn't be happier for her. LOVE the free parking. Important to note - I cheated on her as I now live an hour away on a light traffic day and couldn't get to see her in time for a wedding. BIG MISTAKE. Lesson learned!! Aruna is the best at eyebrows and very thorough. Don't forget to tip her at least $3. Customers in front of me either didn't tip or tipped $1 (WHO DOES THAT????) multiple times. Not cool. Give the woman a few dollars for her expertise! read more

I've been going to aruna for about 4 yrs now. I love how she does my eyebrows and shapes them how I like it. She always greets me when I walk in to the salon and she is so easy going and very nice. There is parking in the plaza so you don't have to look around for street parking. Love her recommend going to her threading salon! read more

Aruna is amazing, but I went today and she wasn't there. The woman who did my eyebrows did a bad job. I have a small bald spot in one of my brows and they way she cut the hairs made it even more noticeable than before. Only go if Aruna is there. read more

This is the only place I will get my eyebrows done. They always do the careful work and I always love my brows. They have been a clean. Sanitary place to go even before covid. The service is lovely as well and I never have to wait long. Great price too!! read more

Clean, conscious, really nice ladies, and all of them are incredibly good at what they do. I travel all the way from Venice because they are always on point. The wait is never very long and it doesn't matter who works on you because all of them are pros, so, when they're finished, you're going to look good! Aruna Threading Studio is the best!!! read more

I'll start this review by saying that I am extremely picky about who I let thread my eyebrows. Thankfully, I found Aruna pretty much as soon as I moved to LA three years ago, and let's just say no one else has done my eyebrows since. Aruna is incredible at what she does, has a gentle hand, is extremely quick. I've even brought several friends who had their eyebrows messed up by other people come in and have Aruna get their shape back to normal. I started going to her at her Hollywood location but moved over to the WeHo location since she mostly works out of there now. The prices at WeHo are slightly higher than what they used to be in Hollywood, though still super affordable for the quality she provides -- PLUS there's free parking. If you're in the market for a new threading studio, look no further because Aruna is the best there is. read more

Rude employees who cut my skin and make me bleed and then blame it on my "thin skin." I've had threading done in many places and nobody cuts up my skin as badly as Aruna's place does. I ask them to be careful but they blame me, saying "well we can't do anything about it since your skin is so thin." These people have NO idea how to treat customers well. They barely talk to you. Just tell you to sit in a chair. Can't even say "hi how are you?" She also missed a section of hair below my eyebrow. I had to point it out to her. The last time I was there was the last straw. The threading lady was more interested in watching the Hindi movie on the TV screen than in doing her job. She kept stopping and turning her head towards the screen to watch the movie. She also had no idea how to make me comfortable in the chair. She would shove my shoulder, in order to get me to lean to one side. Or she would ask me to move higher and higher in the chair and lean my head over the back until I felt my neck was going to break. Aruna is the owner and she is better than the employees but if you don't get her, Steer clear of this place !! read more

I've followed her (Aruna) since her shop in Hollywood. Parking is way better. Bigger space great location. Aruna always makes time for you and if you frequently come by make sure you get a frequent check in card. This got me a free eyebrow thread after 10 check ins. Aruna always has a smile on her face and really cares! She's a genuine person. Even great waiting area for those waiting to get their eyebrows done. read more

I continued to go here because the lady that was always there after it changed hands was still pretty consistent. But the latest person that threaded my brows took way too much off and after months and months they still have not grown back. They are not even shaped properly either, not at all symmetrical. This was my go-to neighborhood spot but sadly I will not be returning. Instead I need to look for a microblading place to fix the damage they caused.
