I don't trust many vendors but for some reason, their yelp reviews spoke to me, so I was willing to take a chance. They were very professional and responsive. They explained their (transactional and cleaning) processes both in great detail which gave me another level of comfort. They do pick ups but I wanted to see the business. This is where I got nervous... The storefront was in transition. The place where I dropped off my rugs had a different name than the company listed on yelp. Even further, the storefront's name was changing. I was petrified. However, the owner assured me that my rugs were in good hands. They delivered my rugs on time as quoted. It took a while before I unrolled them but when I did, I felt like my decorum was given a second wind! To summarize, I'm not a fan of their business practices; they don't take credit card and they share a storefront with another company. But they are very transparent and they live up to their word. We had a great experience w/ Arundel Oriental rug - worked directly with the owner, Tim George, and they were great about providing information, picking up the rugs, and delivering them clean in time for Thanksgiving. They did an excellent job on a stain on a 100% silk rug (that I didn't want to trust to anyone) and our wall-to-wall white carpet that was full of pet stains looks nearly new. It is great to find and support a local business and we will definitely use them again for both wall-to-wall carpet cleaning as well as oriental rugs.
