I contacted Albert's Carpet Cleaning on a Sunday with the hope that we could have our carpets clean early in the week. He responded quickly and asked if we wanted the carpets cleaned on the same day. I said it was up to him and he said sure. The quoted price was very affordable, for the job he did he should have charged more! When he showed up to the house we needed the entire second floor, stairs and a single room on the ground floor that we were planning to replace the carpeting due to the number of stains. We have cream colored carpeting so the stairs showed a noticeable track in the middle that was darker than the rest of the stair. He worked non-stop and when he was finished the stairs were all the same color, the rest of the second floor looked spectacular and most importantly and a completely surprising the ground floor room carpeting looked great - WOW, I am not sure how he did it but we are completely satisfied. We saw reviews and paid a price in excess of the market rate. We regretted having this guy over here. I'm not sure his real name is even Albert. His van says he cleans tiles but upon asking he said he only does carpet and upholstery. So who knows. Problem : He doesn't help move even small furniture and for the price he expects you to do Everything. He never cleaned under the bedside tables in the bedroom. Then upon asking he went back upstairs and did it but told me that it was my job to tell him to do that next time. Never had this issue before with another company. Problem. This guy cleaned the rug in the family room But didn't wipe the cleaning spray chemical off the floor. Just left the overspray on the hardwood. Had to get that removed and clean to avoid a permanent stain. Problematic: we moved the sofa for him. However, he left without cleaning the area Behind it and said we could do it next time because he had packed everything away! The price Alberto quoted me was substantially less than the other companies I contacted, so I decided to give it a try given all the positive reviews. While the sofa didn't come out perfectly the first time around, I contacted Alberto about it immediately and he quickly offered to come back and take a look, and now it looks great. I am over-the-moon with happiness at how great our carpet looks after Albert professionally cleaned it. We had horrible stains on our beige carpet from our elderly pet, who had gastrointestinal issues for months. I was using store-bought cleaners to spot clean but this just seemed to make the spots that I treated magnets for dirt. Weeks after I scrubbed large areas of the rug, the stains would come back worse than before. By the time we called Albert's Carpet Cleaning, the rug was almost black in certain areas. My husband thought I was wasting our money by trying to get it cleaned, but my hope was that the stains could be minimized so they didn't look so awful until we could buy a new carpet. Albert had availability right away and came right on time as scheduled. He was very friendly and agreed the stains were bad, but was confident he could get them out. When he was done, my husband couldn't believe how great the carpet looked. He sent me a picture at work with the caption "Amazing, this photo doesn't do it justice." When I got home that evening and saw the carpet, I was speechless. It looked like a brand new carpet, not a 13-year old carpet that had endured 4 children and 2 dogs all these years. I found Albert's Carpet Cleaning on yelp. We messaged and it was all pretty easy. He didn't try to add on anything to the pricing, etc. He charged a flat fee based on my description of the house. He charged $329 for roughly 1,500sf, which included four floors of stairs. He showed up on time and went straight to work. He seemed very professional and hard working. He did work solo, which was a little surprising. He finished in less time than he gave me the estimate for. I think he performed a really good job, although could have perhaps gone into the very corners of stairs and rooms a touch better. I should have checked things a little more thoroughly before he left. I was trying to get a cover off a light fixture and couldn't manage... Albert helped. Came a bit early but worked out for me. Courteous and was extra careful as we just painted the entire house. Carpets were clean and dry within 24hrs. There were some stains that Albert was not able to completely get rid of but they look better now. I think the previous homeowner never did a thorough cleaning. His prices are extremely competitive.
