The food here is always so incredibly delicious; and the staff are absolutely amazing. This is one of my absolute favorite places to go in Belton, and I usually always take a stroll by the river with a nice cup of coffee afterwards. You won't be disappointed by anything you get at this amazing establishment and I can't recommend it enough!!! p.s. get the southwest tacos!!! They're the best. read more

I cannot believe it has taken me an entire year to try this place. The service is beyond 5 stars and the food is absolutely delicious. As a vegan I was able to ask for my tacos to be a certain way and they were so kind to make it just the way I want it. However, beyond the reason why this place is so awesome on all levels, my favorite reason why I love this place is the fact that they have an individual working who has unique capabilities. Of course we are all unique, but when a business gives someone who is different than most people a chance to work, this just speaks volumes about them. I absolutely love this place and HIGHLY recommend them to everyone. read more

Staff are super friendly and the atmosphere is casual, hip and lovable. It's a great place to catch up with friends or have a casual meeting. The coffee is flavorful but even with extra shots I found my latte to be a little weaker than I like. I had The Flat as breakfast with my coffee, and it was flavorful, fun, but a total mess to eat. Grab those napkins, because the runny yolk will try and dribble! Overall, a wonderful change and local business to support over your national chains. read more

Driving from Waco to Lockhart and was in need of a coffee pick-me-up. Found street parking easily. They sell lunch items and a large variety of coffee and teas. You can also purchase tea items such as kettles and tea. They also seek burlap sacks. I ordered a iced pumpkin and vanilla latte and my husband ordered a regular drip coffee. We each ordered a muffin for the road which was warmed before being handed to us. The pumpkin and vanilla flavor in my iced coffee was so punchy and delicious. It was like a slice of pumpkin pie in a cup. Highly recommend a stop here! read more

Excellent selection of coffees, lattes and loose/full leaf teas. There were so many choices of teas. We had their: - Oat Latte - was very good - Ginger Coconut - Chai (loose leaf) latte with oat milk - the aroma when they opened the amístese was so pleasant it makes you want to keep your nose in there (lol). Definitely great for coffee, lattes and teas but didn't care for their tacos or chips much. By the time we visited, we had already hit two other spots with amazing tacos. The only tacos we ordered were the fish tacos and it wasn't great. We ordered chips, but they were quite greasy and from a bad. Not made in house but either way the y were too greasy. This is why I gave it 3 stars. However, this doesn't mean the other tacos mentioned in other reviews aren't good. We will be back and look forward to giving those a try as well and changing how many stars I gave. As for the the location it's in a great historic area. The cafe is quaintly decorated. I love the seating arrangement with sofas, tables and reg chairs all around truly making it very comfy while enjoying your food and beverage. I can see myself working out of this cafe for a few hours. Staff were always friendly, truly adding to the experience no matter if the fish tacos weren't that great (lol). We look forward to our next visit. read more

This is not the conventional tacos you are used to! Nice place with a very nice and relaxing atmosphere, they have a variety of different delicious tacos and the lamb tacos is a must try. Everything is freshly made upon order and their ingredients are super tasty. The employees are really nice and they are aware of the menu so don't hesitate to ask for their advice if it's your first time here. They also have various types of iced tea. I tried the peach flavor and it was really good. You must visit the place while you are here and I'm sure that you gonna love it. read more

Traveling for work & this recommendation did not disappoint!! It is immaculately cute when you walk in. There's something for everyone. Coffee, amazing pastries, a massive assortment of teas, a pool table, 3 levels of seating and couches. The coffee was unbeatable, service was a dream. I don't know how they manage to pack so much stuff into a deceivingly spacious room, and feel so intimately small. This coffee shop alone could make me move here. 10/10. A hidden gem! read more

I absolutely love going to Arusha's. First off, their coffee is rich and full-bodied and they roast their own beans! Their tacos are pretty good too, and I like that the staff always have something to recommend if I don't know what to get. A couple of times I've gone and known what a drink is called at Starbucks but not what was in it and they were able to recreate a drink to be similar! Their prices are on-par with any other small coffee shop and are definitely cheaper than Starbucks for better quality. And let me tell you about the atmosphere. The owner has obviously taken so much care cultivating a calming yet inspiring environment and the decor and music are quirky and off-best but not distracting. I LOVE going here to study. I'm in grad school and always need a place to go with wifi and seating. I love they always have space, it's never packed, but I'm never the only one there and it's never awkward. I like sitting up on the upper balcony so I can see everything! If you get cold easily, I would bring a sweater, but I'm warm-blooded so I'm always comfy there. Overall, would highly recommend! I always take guests from out of town here to hang out when we need to fill an hour or two in between activities. read more

This was my first vaccinated in-restaurant experience in a year and I'm delighted that I chose Arusha! The coffee was fresh and strong. We got the flat breakfast taco. While we had to wait a fair bit for the food, the tacos were so tasty!! Hot, flavorful, unique. We got a shrimp taco to go, and it was fantastic. Spicy and flavorful. Half the staff and half the customers had no masks. Staff extremely warm and friendly. It was a positive experience! I will definitely be back! read more

I'm surprised....totally surprised. Came here to try out coffee on a Tuesday and found out it was $2 taco day. I had to try it out. I ordered the Sha, recommended by the young lady behind the counter and my friend ordered the Mexican and the Mardigras tacos. I come from a land of wonderful tacos, and these were just as good or better! Im totally impressed by the execution of the taco and by the fresh ingredients. Hello flavor town! Oh we also enjoyed an iced latte and iced salted caramel latte, perfect sweetness per my friend. Also enjoyed a slice of cake and coffee cake, super delicious. So looking forward to trying the souffle and making my through the other tacos. I was hesitant to try their tacos, but I'm so glad I did! Also, staff is friendly, the place has a nice vibe, and is kept clean, which is super important to me. read more

We found this place when looking for a coffee place to ride to on our motorcycle and thought it looked cute from the pictures. Well, the pictures don't do it justice at all! It is the most adorable little coffee/tea/taco/all-sorts-of-other-food place! Sadly, their food options don't include much in the way of gluten-free or dairy-free, but they do offer several dairy-free milk options for coffee, and the coffee was delicious! What can I say. This is such a cute shop! They have a great selection of loose teas. They let you smell all of the teas you want before you make a selection. The owner was great and made me a deal so I got a discount on my two teas. They also have some delicious looking baked goods on the case. They are well known for the tacos. I always wonder if they do that so they can charge whatever price they want based on the customer.

Today was my first time using the drive-through and it was disappointing. The order clearly wasn't double-checked before it was handed out. One of the containers with beans wasn't sealed properly, so it spilled all over inside the bag, and they didn't even include the tortillas that come with the meals. I understand businesses need to move quickly, but basic things like verifying orders and sealing containers properly matter. It just doesn't feel like the same place it used to be.

This place is amazing! They have tea and coffee from all over the globe, you can virtually have 30 different cups of green tea and still have a variety of options to choose from. Every time I go to this place the coffee is delicious and the tea is perfectly balanced. One of my favorite tea's is a jasmine green tea, and their frappuccino's are sometimes even better than starbucks in my opinion. The barista's are friendly and knowledgeable of their drinks and offer snack items too. They sell a good selections of tea pots and cute mugs to boot, I fell in love with this place with my first drink over a year ago and i am repeat customer ever since. The ambiance there is great, there is always soft music playing, and plenty of room to relax on a cozy couch and enjoy your beverage, muffin, read or study. This place offers wi-fi as well which is awesome when you're a college student and want to go somewhere other than home or school to do homework. They have two pool tables there as well which is a nice touch when you need a break from school work or just want to hang out with friends. They also sell local honey from and are very friendly with the community. They even have several tv's that you can catch the game on too, but the feature i love the most is the rustic look to this building that was built in the 1800's. For starters the environment here is amazing. Being welcomed as you walk through the door is truly a great way to make customers feel welcomed. The staff is always smiling and very educated on choices of coffees and teas that are provided. I went with a blended matcha with lavender today and all I could think was "Why is this do delicious!?" The prices for their coffee is amazingly cheaper than any coffee shop I've been to before. You won't be dissatisfied by your next visit here, I can promise you that! GREAT JOB ARUSHAS! I popped into this adorable little coffee shop last week as i was running errands in downtown Belton. The look of the place is so cute, located in a historical building, they have plenty of seating and local artists come to play music and read poetry at open mic night. Be sure to grab a taco as they are delish!! My coffee was awesome and my son got a lemonade, which he loved! LOVE Arusha! small town belton vide with plenty of comfy seating to enjoy my tea. I love their selection of coffee and tea.
