I love how they section off into the different genres while adequately having a good seating area. If you're in the area to explore, this place is it for some good reads and studying. Their instagram for this location just says Monday through Friday without times indicated. I went by the times listed in their fb post. Hopefully they get this straightened out soon. Beautiful creekside location downtown Belton. There's a large public parking lot across the street. Handicap/wheelchair access may be an issue. I hope they add more outdoor seating in the future. The inside is simple and clean with a lot of natural light and seating. I didn't see any signs noting free WiFi but this would be a great place to work/study while enjoying a delicious brew! The coffee was fresh and warm (not hot) served in basic to-go cups. We ordered a vanilla latte and a Flat White. Flat Whites are not listed on the menu but they were able to accommodate this classic coffee drink anyway. Was the best flat white I've ever had? No. But it was still tasty and did the trick. Latte was average - nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. Wait time for my order was average. There's also teas and smoothies on the menu, as well as house made nitro cold brew on tap. Their pastry display is lacking but maybe they plan on beefing it up in the future. I'd like to see prices and descriptions of the baked goods. Service was friendly and helpful. They didn't ask for a name so when my order was ready, I wasn't sure if it was mine... had to assume it was my latte and hope it was not someone else's latte. If it gets busy in there this could be an issue. Overall I'd say this place is good, not remarkable. Could easily make some small improvements. I'll likely return but it won't be my go to favorite coffee shop.

The lobby is always busy but always kept so nice. Bathrooms are clean. Positive employees, with some wonderful recommendations. I enjoy mixing it up, on occasion, and asking the cashier for a favorite of theirs. Tweak a drink, try a snack and just sit and people watch. We've met some amazing people passing through at this location. I love getting out and enjoying different locations! You have so fun shopping in the area, lots to eat nearby and a quick jump on the highway to anywhere fun....FAST!

Milller's Smokehouse serves up some killer smash burgers!…read more My family enjoys hunting for great Texas BBQ. We have completed the 2017 and 2021 TX Monthly Top 50 BBQ list. We started the 2025 list and we are more than half-way through the list as of June 2026. Heading to the spots in West Texas takes some logistical planning, patience, and lots of gas for the drive from the Texas Gulf Coast. On our recent BBQ quest to West Texas,we drove home via Fort Worth from Amarillo with our eyes set on hitting one of the most consistent BBQ joints in Central Texas, Miller's Smokehouse in Belton, TX. This was our fourth time to visit Miller's. Unfortunately, Miller's Smokehouse had a surprise overnight fire late February 2026. That hasn't stopped them from feeding the community great food from a mobile trailer. They had an abbreviated menu of the BBQ staples like brisket, chicken, pulled pork, pork steaks, and St. Louis Style Ribs, and assorted sandwiches and sides. Generally, I'm a Texas Trinity traditionalist. But we he had our fill of brisket, ribs, and sausage on our West Texas journey. Instead, we jumped at the Smash Burgers! First time for us and they made a favorable impression. My wife had the Single Smash. My son and I had the Double Smash. Of course we had to try the tallow Fries. Wow! Homemade buns, oversized patties, cheese, with a smattering of pickles and burger sauce. We destroyed those burgers. Compliments to the kitchen staff cooking up some great food. The tallow Fries, seasoned with just the right amount of salt were a perfect crisp while being soft in the center. Don't cheat yourself - try the Fries. We arrived around noon and there was a very short line at that time. Parking is easy with ample parallel parking and free lots close by. The staff took good care of us. It was a bit warm but they had shaded picnic table seating with plenty of fly fans at the table to keep the critters from buzzing to nibble at your food. Before we left, we inquired about nearby restrooms to wash-up before we got back on the road. We were directed across the street to Muscovy Coffee Roasters across the street. It turns out that Muscovy is Miller's upscale sister coffee house that opened days before the February fire. I could not help but notice the spacious seating area that was packed. Nor the rich roasted coffee wafting through the air. They also serve an interesting menu of breakfast items and homemade Kolaches. Got to go back for coffee and Kolaches next time. By the way, the restrooms were Buc-ee's clean+. This is the fourth time we visited Miller's Smokehouse. Hat's off to the pitmasters and staff at Miller's Smokehouse for their perseverance. We'll be back after they open the revitalized restaurant. Hoping to meet Dusty the next time.
