This is such a quaint coffee shop with two train cars and outdoor seating in the middle. It's a nice place to study with wifi. I imagine it can get crowded as the two train cars are very narrow with limited seating. You order from a small window inside one of the cars, and there is only one barista working. They have a small coffee selection with mostly hot drinks. They also have a refrigerator with bottled drinks for sale. The humankind sweet tea tasted like a typical sweet tea, and it was nice that they gave a cup with ice to pour it into. read more

REALLY neat place to have pretty decent coffee! Housed within 2 train cars, the atmosphere is truly unique. I also live close to Katy, Tx so seeing that these cars are originally from the area made me excited to be part of Sly Fox coffeehouse's experience. We got the drip coffee and matcha and enjoyed it in the adjacent train car to sit. We loved the decor and vibes of the porch. My toddler absolutely loved the wooden train out in front. If you're in Belton, this is the place to be for a morning cup while exploring the surrounding areas. read more

One of a few coffee joints in Belton located in an old train car. Indoor and outdoor seating is available but not a lot so it can get cramped in there if there are more than 4 people waiting. Free WiFi. Lots of natural light and houseplants. Ample parking space. No drive thru. Dog friendly. Friendly staff however there was only ONE gal working on a Saturday morning so there was a long wait and let's be honest no one likes waiting a long time for their coffee. The long wait was the biggest downside so if you're in a rush I would not recommend this place. We ordered a Flat White and a Vanilla Mint Latte. Flat white was good but very small. The Vanilla Mint Latte was SO TASTY, normal size, not overly minty, definitely worth a try. I hope it becomes a permanent menu item (currently a spring special). read more

The baristas are so friendly and welcoming - shout out to Vi (unsure if I'm spelling his name right) who brought a water bowl and pup cup for my dog, which was very sweet. The menu is limited for a non-coffee drinker, but that's to be expected at a coffee shop! I ordered an iced matcha and it was slightly diluted. Service was great! I still wanted to enjoy the vibes and did just that! The coffee shop was cute and cozy. I internet was spotty and there wasn't a restroom nearby, so I'd caution you if you wanted to study there. I ordered a small chai latte hot, little did I know it was a cup meant for children. I paid $4.32 for maybe 6 ounces of liquid. On the upside, they use liquid mix, not powder and it was hot. But if you really mean to purchase a beverage and want something to drink, this is not the place to do it. Go to Dutch Brothers and pay your 5 1/2 dollars there for a legit size drink. You'll note in the picture I have the small tube of hand cream from Bath and Bodyworks next to the cup so you can see the perspective how large the cup is. Update: I checked with the similar business across the street, and the 2 chain coffee places. They all offer a 12oz to go as their small. I have no clue of you business model or margins, but if you want to be competitive you might want to see about serving the same amount of product. I wish you well. read more

I find myself here at least once a week. Sly Fox has the best espresso in the area. The inside has a surprising number of seats for the size. There is also plenty of outdoor seating for the fall and spring months. The staff is always welcoming and willing to help you find something you will enjoy. I am an out of town guest but I have made this a regular stop anytime I come to Belton! I absolutely love it! It's less than a mile from the interstate and is located in a quaint historic part of downtown Belton. I love that they saved the entire old depot for small businesses and brought in train cars. The coffee shop has turned an old train car into a quaint and cozy little retreat. They focus on high end specialty third wave coffee! It's amazing! They offer online ordering and curbside pickup. The outdoor deck is wonderful. I always get the special of the week and today it was Mexican coffee with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and chocolate! Divine! read more
