First time using Arya to tailor 3 blazers and 2 pair of trousers for me, and I am a very satisfied customer. After the initial fitting, I came back a couple days later and Nabi did a "final" fitting for me. Picked up the blazers two days later and was so happy with the work, I ran home to pick up another suit that needed tailoring, and brought them back to Nabi that same day. Just like other reviewers say, don't let the looks of this place keep you away! I've had about 5 dresses fixed by him (sleeves shortened, or shoulders picked up to keep the dresses from bagging around the waist). He does a great job, is very nice, and the price was always good. It has taken about a week to get my dresses back, they were ready when I went in to pick them up. I didn't need them right away, so didn't ask if he could get them done sooner. I definitely recommend this place. OH--and pay by cash or check! read more

I had immediate needs for a bridesmaid dress. He did both me, and other bridesmaid within two days for major alterations. Very reasonable in price. He's closed until Sept 24th, and it such a bummer because I don't trust anyone else. I've used him for other things as well including jeans, and another bridesmaid dress a few years back. read more

The best place for alterations hands down! Arya altered my wedding dress which another tailor said it would be impossible to do. And he also did it at a fraction of the cost the other lady quoted me for. He also hemmed various other items for my husband and I. Later, I didn't want to have my wedding dress sit in a box so I took it back to Arya who cropped it and made it into a bustier. His prices are so reasonable and his work is fantastic! read more

Hands down the best tailor! Altered my wedding dress back in April and did a phenomenal job--so reasonable on price too! More recently--I had a major problem with a bridesmaid dress (had to order it while 9 months preg) the dress didn't fit--Nabi performed a miracle-I'm sure it was a total Frankenstein case but you can't even tell the dress was altered at all!! I call him a miracle worker! Omg I love this man he is professional, efficient, inexpensive and most of all..very comfortable to work with. I bought a wedding dress from Ebay and did not fit at all. I took the dress to him in panic and he was able to let it out. His calm demeanor is contagious and made me feel so much better. The finish product was perfect! Another dress he worked on for me was making 2 dresses into one. He's taylored my pants and fixed my zippers. I very much dislike clothes shopping, but knowing that my miracle maker is around makes me feel good about clothes shopping. I've been here twice now and both times the work completed was spot on and so affordable! They are so incredibly nice. The only downfall is they only accept cash or check, which I rarely carry. Today my order came to $6 and I only had $5 on me. Instead of making me leave and find an ATM the owner just gave me the clothes and said no problem. Now that's service you just don't see anymore. They are so nice, I brought my daughter with her prom dress to be fitted. While tailor pinned her dress, he was so polite, calm and very professional. A week later we came back and my daughter tried on her dress. We loved the dress. While we were looking at the amazing job he did on the dress, he saw one area that was a little bit baggie. He started pinning more of the dress. He asked if we can give him a few more days to make the dress just right. We came back a week later, she tried it on one more time, it looks amazing! I WILL refer ARYA to ANY BRIDE! this man does AMAZING work!!! He altered my Sottero and Midgley wedding dress and when he was done it looked as if the dress never needed altering to begin with. absolutely perfect! I need the bust taken in on each side, a hem for about a FOOT of the dress lol im only 5'0" so it litterally needed to be hemmed way more than your typical bride. I also needed a bustle. can u imagine the price he gave me? .........$150! AND he did a Free hot steam for the dress a few days before the wedding. It's not the nicest place but for his work it might as well be!
