I love to support small local businesses, so decided to give them a try. I opted for the Grilled Lemongrass Chicken Bahn Mi, the fried egg rolls, and Iced Ube Taro Milk Tea. The sandwich was flavorful and packed with fresh ingredients, I would definitely order it again. The ingredient to bread balance was great. The fried egg rolls were good, but more reminiscent of lumpia than an egg roll. The Iced Ube Taro Milk Tea was really the icing on the cake, it was so good that I went back and ordered another one without ice to have the next day. It's sweet, so may not be everyone. There was a $1 up-charge for the no ice option, but that seemed fair considering how much more tea you get without the ice.

Pulled up on a Friday late night with my family ordered the standard 5 tacos. They are a bit pricey as well. I ordered the carne Asada and my mother in law ordered the chicken. While it did seem like it tasted good it was super greasy. (TMI coming up) When I woke up the next morning my I noticed my bowels were literally moving the next day, (I counted about 9 times). I felt bloated and everything. My wife even told me that as we were pulling off she witnessed the cook I believe his name is Julio eating some of the product while he was preparing peoples food (the side door of the food truck was open so you could see right in). Funny enough we decided to go back Saturday evening to give them another try, thinking it would be better, BOY was we wrong. I ordered the same order plus charro Beans, elote (corn in a cup) and 3 cans of sprite. This time we took literally one bite and the meat was DRYER than the Saharan desert both the carne asada and the chicken. (Tasted like some reheated old meat or meat that had been made days prior). We were already at the hotel at this point and was infuriated!!! We ended up calling and I believe I spoke to Julio (or whoever the cook is) over the phone. After lying saying that he cooked the meat fresh that day he stuttered I told him aint no way the meat was fresh. He then said and I quote " I cooked the meat "a couple days ago" then said "sorry I burnt it or overcooked it". (Knowing that why would you serve that to me?) I then stated "yes it tasted old period". I requested a refund in which he agreed to. Driving all the way back I brought the food back as well. Julio (or whoever the cooks name is) tried to plead his case to me saying that the meat is fresh and took a fork and tasted the food himself and then tried to offer me the food. I told him "no I don't want to taste it, just refund me please" in which he did. Dishonesty, Not handling food with care, lying. Is something that crosses the line and I won't be back. *Also if the owner is reading this I have the phone conversation recorded and the video evidence to show proof this whole interaction, so do not just glaze over this review* I don't like writing bad reviews, but this one is for sure warranted. Seems like they will dress up the taco and selling you some "old meat" people just be careful and mindful when coming to this taco truck.

I had the ahi tuna lettuce wraps and was skeptical. While it took a few minutes to get my meal, it definitely worhlth the wait. The tuna was fresh and seared to perfection with the right amount of seasoning. Their spicy mayo and soy vinegar dipping sauces really complimented the dish and took it over the top. GET IT! The 2 guys that run it were very friendly. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because it's cash only.

He had a few orders ahead of mine, I know some people might leave if they're impatient but that only peaked my interest more. I was given an electric pad that alerts you when your order is ready so you can wait in your car! I ordered the Chicken pad Thai (medium spiced), and I got my hubby the Chicken pad woon sen (mild). I tried both. The food was delicious! If it is your first time trying it, be sure to start off with the mild spice and work your way up. You know how some places you order spicy but it's not actually spicy; yeah no, his is spicy LOL so for my personal preference I think a mild is best. People don't be discouraged by how the portions look in the picture! Swear it's not those small "meal prep" containers, it's a GOOD SIZE portion. 10/10 will return for sure and I love that there's other food trucks around, so if you and your partner want something different you'll have options too. I will say that the thing that personally frustrated me a little, was the wait time to get my food; but then again like I said there was a LINE ahead of me so yes his food is popular. I think he also has the option to order online, so maybe I'll try that next time. I placed my order around 5:40pm and got my food till 6:20pm. I am a devotee to their Cheese Tortellini, but I usually get it with their pesto and it is AMAZING!!! This visit, however, they were 86 Pesto, so I tried something different- the Bob and Timmy Special and it was incredibly delicious! It is a penne pasta in a creamy garlic sauce with hunks of chicken, mushrooms, and diced tomatoes. Also ordered a couple of other usual eats- Tortellini but with Alfredo, and the 3-meat Calzone (pepperoni. Sausage, meatballs). They gave us our beeper and we grabbed a couple beers from the Chameleon's pub and waited. It was a lovely evening at the food truck park with live music and a cool breeze blowing. When the food was ready we took it home to enjoy. Just like the my favorite Tortellini in Pesto, each bite of the Bob and Timmy's special had me closing my eyes to savor the rich flavor of each. I literally felt my brain's pleasure centers firing off. The tortellini in Alfredo was equally pleasurable although I still do prefer it with the pesto. Finally the Calzone which came loaded with the 3 meats (pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs) were perfectly cooked and covered in melty mozzarella cheese. Most places give a side of marinara with their calzone's, but Bob and Timmy's doesn't need it!! The perfect cook on the hefty portions of meat in the perfectly wood-fired crust didn't require any extra sauce. Absolutely perfect Calzone. Bob and Timmy's on Wheels is easily one of our favorite places for Italian food which is why we see them pretty regularly!!! And did I mention they are so close to me now that I see them so often that they recognize me by sight. I'm not really a regular anywhere as I like to spread out my "foodie adventures"...but Bob and Timmy's is THAT GOOD!!!!
