I absolutely love this place!!! Discovered them years ago at another food truck park, but now they regularly post up at Screamin' Chameleon which is much closer to my home than the other place was. I am a devotee to their Cheese Tortellini, but I usually get it with their pesto and it is AMAZING!!! This visit, however, they were 86 Pesto, so I tried something different- the Bob and Timmy Special and it was incredibly delicious! It is a penne pasta in a creamy garlic sauce with hunks of chicken, mushrooms, and diced tomatoes. Also ordered a couple of other usual eats- Tortellini but with Alfredo, and the 3-meat Calzone (pepperoni. Sausage, meatballs). They gave us our beeper and we grabbed a couple beers from the Chameleon's pub and waited. It was a lovely evening at the food truck park with live music and a cool breeze blowing. When the food was ready we took it home to enjoy. Just like the my favorite Tortellini in Pesto, each bite of the Bob and Timmy's special had me closing my eyes to savor the rich flavor of each. I literally felt my brain's pleasure centers firing off. The tortellini in Alfredo was equally pleasurable although I still do prefer it with the pesto. Finally the Calzone which came loaded with the 3 meats (pepperoni, sausage, and meatballs) were perfectly cooked and covered in melty mozzarella cheese. Most places give a side of marinara with their calzone's, but Bob and Timmy's doesn't need it!! The perfect cook on the hefty portions of meat in the perfectly wood-fired crust didn't require any extra sauce. Absolutely perfect Calzone. Bob and Timmy's on Wheels is easily one of our favorite places for Italian food which is why we see them pretty regularly!!! And did I mention they are so close to me now that I see them so often that they recognize me by sight. Delicious! I ordered half pepperoni and mushroom and half pastor. Both were delicious. I also ordered the Nutella dessert pizza, and it was amazing as well. I would love to try the pasta next time. This unassuming brick oven wood fired pizza and more food truck can he found at Street Fare San Antonio the food truck Park on Austin highway most weekends including some weekdays What I didn't know were that these people are famous. They own the number one pizza place in Providence Rhode island, the highest concentration of Italians in American. They have two pizza places which they now have sold called Bob and Timmy's famous grilled pizza. their Pizza has been rated number one on the east coast for this unique style Pizza by man versus food, Good morning America, and most importantly the citizens of Providence Rhode island. They can produce amazing food out of this little food truck including their award-winning cracker thin crust grilled pizza with unique toppings like arugula, Pastor pork, and just about any other fresh vegetable you can think of; think of this as a california-style pizza like California kitchen, or Wolfgang puck's Spago kitchen. They also make the best pizza rolls I've ever tasted in my life. They are huge with house-made dough and cheese 4 in tall. They also make calzones, lobster ravioli, large prawn shrimp scampi, dessert pizzas, and many other pasta dishes with seafood. For some reason they love to put chili flakes in everything, so their food can be a bit spicy unless you tell them to back off. For the pizza rolls they make an amazing like pesto, but it's really like a salsa verde made out of pureed jalapenos. It's not at all hot and it pairs well with those pizza rolls. The owner is super nice including the lady who runs the little window. I'm not sure who Bob is, and I'm not sure who Timmy is if these are even these people's names. You have got to see this little grilled pizza truck at Street Fare San Antonio; try Friday or Saturday nights. My cheese pizza rolls which were amazing were only $6. Of course the pizzas and pasta dishes are more in the $11-$15 range. read more

Love the fact that Agave has food trucks almost every Thursday. This week it was Bob & Timmy's on Wheels. They had a variety of pizza and pasta offerings. We had their pepperoni pizza (thin crust) and their spaghetti and meatballs special. The food was very reasonably priced. Just $24 for a medium pizza and the pasta including tip. There was plenty for dinner and leftovers for lunch the next day. The spaghetti had lots of meat...had a little bit of spice to it to give it great flavor but not over the top. Great value and great food. The pizza was thin crust and the sauce had a little kick to it as well (I'm guessing similar seasoning that was in the sauce on the spaghetti?). Flavor was great and the portions were very reasonable for the price. Definitely would try it out again. read more

I waited to post my review because my first experience was kind of strange. Today I ordered the Calzone, it was stuffed full of pepperoni and mushrooms, like bursting. Also they bill the size as medium...it was not medium, it was colossal. The bread/pizza crust is a bit different than normal, more soft and fluffy like a pita or a tortilla than traditional crust. It is grilled, and this adds a bit more flavor to the party. The sauce was tart, acidic and bright. This was all together different than my first experience. I read through the reviews and I saw a picture of exactly what I received the first time. Ham and pineapple pizza was like deli ham and...well just not what I was expecting. I gave this place another shot and I am glad I did. P.S. The fruit pizza was a nice surprise as well read more

If I could give zero I would....after all the hype about this pizza truck from my coworkers I decided to finally try it today since it was parked outside of work yes worst lunch decision ever....I had two small slices and I can't stomach any more....it's practically cold. The ham is like the cold cut ham u put in a sandwich and the pineapple taste straight out of the can like they didn't even cook it in the oven with the rest (although it doesn't taste like the pizza was cook well at all). It sounds crazy, I know. But this is delicious stuff. All three times I've eaten at this lovely little venue I've had this crew feed me. I ordered the veggie pizza, a mountain of artichoke hearts, feta, and who knows what else...spinach...deliciousness. on a crisp, light super thin crust. I am a fan. Plus they are incredibly hospitable, kind, funny and may well have the cutest little kids on earth. Look I realize a food truck might not be your first thought for pizza, but have I ever led you astray? Well, maybe that one time but I had bail money so that doesn't count... My next visit I have the mushroom specialty pie, and while I heartily applaud their creative juice behind this, it was maybe too mushroomy if that's even possible. They gave me some balsamic nectar they try to call dressing, but it balanced the flavors so nicely that dressing is too proletariat to be its category. They offer other meaty options, but I'm a veg so I cant give you anything but my visual impression there. Their meats were not greasy looking, or seeping suspicious colors onto their pie. You know how highly processed meats get that orange greasy crap all over your food. Gack! But they seem to have embraced the notion that QUALITY INGREDIENTS. EQUALS QUALITY END PRODUCT!! Ding ding! WOW - seriously the best pizza! This food truck rocks, and I wish they had a restaurant so I could get my hands on their pizza anytime I wanted. Their food truck sets up periodically at our office building and all of my co-works and the rest of the building run out to order their food - all with rave reviews! I've tried their grilled chicken pizza, margarita pizza, spinach & mushroom, and now their gyro pizza and they are all so good!! I never know how I'm going to decide on what to get b/c I love it all. I really like this truck. They have topping combos you don't find at most pizza places and they give you plenty of toppings. My only issue is that they add the toppings after melting the cheese to the crust.
