They are screwing over their customers!…read more We've been box holders there since the business opened in 2014 and today we got notice that the business will close the doors "for good on December 20, 2025.  It is not even possible to change your address in less than 30 days, magazine subscriptions (yes, we still have those) require 60 days.  If you ship something here you will NOT be able to count on them to track it or deal with claims! When I inquired about what would happen to the mail, I was told by Zaid Santiago, one of the owners and the person usually on site, that the mail would be returned to sender.  So, that screws us for Christmas deliveries and such - I have no doubt that all of our deliveries after mid-December will be lost. Finally, I asked Mr. Santiago what happens to the annual box fee we paid through July 31, 2026, and he robotically quoted "paragraph 10 of our contract" and informed me that there will be no refund. It took a couple months after shipment for the items to be inspected by the auction house and then listed for bids. When I saw the auction photos, a WWII Navy battle lantern with one crack across the corner of a thick glass lens had arrived with that same lens shattered. When the auction house was notified that this was not the condition the item was sent in, the auction house said that overall the shipment wasn't packed well and avoid this location. As a lessor valued item in the lot, an insurance claim so long after sending wasn't worth the effort, and the remaining items were intact. The service here has always been friendly and prompt, and I will continue to use this shop. Not when shipping antiques... I tried to respond to the owner by email, to give greater details in writing and provide photos, but apparently their email address is not routinely monitored, and no response after a week. Note that the UPS Pack and Ship Guarantee says if your item "is damaged or lost in transit, you'll be reimbursed*." Because of that sneaky asterisk though, I wouldn't count on it. Restrictions apply. Participating locations only. No mention of it.

These are just mean, evil women, hell bent on destroying your day. Don't let them! Stay the hell away from this place. They charge the most they can to provide services that the USPS provides for free (like giving you a receipt for delivery confirmation) and those old gals make it look like 1989 in there. No technology, nothing. There's handwritten signs everywhere, like, hey stand here and read all this stuff, and we're gonna treat you like an idiot if you don't read them all. Maybe it's time to close up shop and knit, or continue dying. They do provide free USPS Priority Mail boxes to mail (that really should be next door) and 'ol white hairs yelled at me one day for grabbing 2 of them. I held them up and showed her they were the free ones, I'm not trying to shove them down my pants like some hooligan. But if she crept up on me I'd knock her the eff out. By the way, Great Grandma, nobody wants to buy your old puzzles, sweaters, 500% markup Juicy Fruit, or paintings. Jesus H. Christ. You need to make it all about mail or nothing. Or retire! Stopped in one day to ship out a small package, when trying to juggle all the other things in my hand and my phone to read the address of where I was sending it the store representative asked me to take my phone so he could read the address and type it in... afterwards, when I was asked to double check the address and that it was going to the right place. I triple verified that indeed it was the correct address and a correct apartment number on the little pad. Well a week later it gets sent back, and this store tries to tell me I didn't give them the right address and upon the associate trying to explain to me that I was going to have to yet pay again to re-ship it, she said that this is a normal issue they experience with their system - and that sometimes when addresses get put in and verified that the system will not understand apartment number and remove it... she told me that was something they've experienced before.... Yet they wanted to make me pay again to re-ship it. Apparently that associate talked to the manager, who then confirmed yes I was going to have to pay for it again because I did confirm the address on the pad - which I did, and was correct at the time. Cannot recommend this place, especially over a couple of dollars and customer service. Won't be back, and will file a different complaint with ups- though I know it is independently owned. And for the management not to call be back and make the associate who doesn't fully understand try to explain is asinine.
