    Sushi

Don't come here unless you can lick the plain clean to the point of nothing on the plate.... We have come over 20 times and left a few pieces of sushi and never got hit with a food waste fee. We ask the waiter and he's like I don't know how much to charge for this and he comes back with the manager. On the verbiage it says it MAY be charged. The manager was very aggressive but did wave the fee this time; but tried to make us feel like crap. Food was cold luke warm at best and they served 6 tables at once. The one roll my husband had was cut into 12 pieces instead of 8 like it is labeled on the menu. The staff used to say good bye or have a good night and did not happen this time.

Very nice and clean restaurant. We can right before they were closing for lunch so we had to order everything at once. The rolls were good and the service was fast. We also order a few appetizers which was ok. The did forget my fried rice but that alright. They were getting ready to take lunch so I didn't bother asking for it.

There are 3 around the Pittsburgh region with the all you can eat sit down sushi, hibachi, and app concept to my knowledge (sushi bomb robinson and mr Tokyo greensburg). Splitting hairs with the 3. Mr Tokyo has the strongest specialty roll lineup with asahi a close second. Enjoyed the Chinese dinners here more than the other locations. While sushi bomb has the highest price point it's the most convenient to the city of Pittsburgh. Overall, the sushi was solid, Chinese dinners tasty, and the apps fresh. Only two pieces of feedback is the paper check off concept is convenient for the first round but gets confusing thereafter. Also got the vibe that they thought it was an inconvenience that I ordered multiple rounds. At one point I checked off 2 small portions of dinner entrees and they passive aggressively asked me, "both?!" For that reason I'll stick to sushi bomb moving forward...

Insanely delicious. I've been to this restaurant many many times and i'll never get tired of it. The sushi is fresh and the hibachi has so much flavor. (I always get the shrimp hibachi!) I will say it's important to note that the price has gone up; which is shocking because this place always does so well. It's getting close to $25 per person which is kinda crazy. I've noticed they've stopped giving 2 pieces of the nigiri and only handing out one per order. Of course you can just order more but i'm worried the price will continue to rise as they hand out less food. I like the quieter ambiance and the seating is comfortable. The service is great and your food comes out super fast.

Don't judge. I really like Saba and Hokkigai, and ordered 4 pieces of each along with 4 specialty rolls.

The sushi is made to order, and I had heard about Asahi from my colleagues some time ago. I was driving through Washington County on the way to Columbus, Ohio, and decided to stop through. Lunch cost me about $20 plus tip, the service was prompt and the food was decent. The restaurant is clean and spacious. I recommend giving this place a try. I didn't have a chance to try the hibachi. Perhaps next time.

The hibachi seafood was all WAY OVERCOOKED. The salmon & scallops were barely edible. The steak hibachi was only a little overcooked. The dumplings were very good and the crab rangoons & spring rolls were decent. Sushi was very good and I'm looking forward to going back and only having sushi & apps. The service was very good and friendly. The atmosphere is good, too.

A rare 5 star but I gotta do it. ALL YOU CAN EAT FOR $15! The food was delicious. The service was unbelievably quick but not too fast. It was very clean and had a really nice feel to it. Would absolutely go back next time by.

First timer Note to larger parties - call ahead to get on the list - we had over a 40 min wait for a party of six Parking was good - they have a shared lot with places like five guys and sportsman warehouse - no issues getting a good spot They give you a piece of paper to order off of - menu and you mark quantities. There are limits - so that you eat what you order - don't over order and waste :) I started with the house salad and crab Rangoon- probably some of the best ginger dressing I have ever had on that salad. Got the friend roll and the scallop hibatchi - both so good! Then tried the volcano roll - just because I have never had and it was one that our server Ting Ting recommended - btw she was very good and attentive. I would recommend the place - but go and enjoy - try something new that you have never tried before.

My husband and I love this place so much we come at least once a week. You can't beat the price for all you can eat sushi. The food is always great and the service is always wonderful. The staff know us at this point. Highly recommend coming here if you haven't tried it yet

It did not disappoint; good selection, with plenty of options, including vegetarian items. It's more or less what you'd expect from a Chinese buffet, and with a pretty large selection. We get there, and the pictures were accurate but it is empty of people, and the food is much more sparse than I would expect. Not only that but it appears (and subsequently tastes) quite subpar for everything I can recall. I don't recall an item that made me think how it was better than acceptable to fill me. There was a sushi space with at least three spaces for plates, and all of the plates had the same three items on them, one being vegetarian, one being "spicy," and I don't even remember the other. The sushi was all a poor show, and they weren't worth going back for another round. I have not skipped the second round many times. The sushi prep space and area did not appear as clean as it could, and there was no clear sushi chef there, no certifications in view...(not saying they don't have them, but poor selection, bad cuts, dirty/messy appearance, the gentleman sitting there like at a gas station checkout) Like I said, the traditional stuff was not great fare. I got a second plate but to try some other things. Was still unimpressed completely. My wife was even struck by the poorness in such a strong way that she brought up leaving a review. Her experience with the traditional foods and desserts was poor, she finished little, and was overall unhappy. We don't hesitate for reviewing both directions, I hate to have to leave a poor one - we had a bad experience and you have issues to work on. Tried some dessert. There was a mousse dessert that was tasty - prepackaged, nothing special. Otherwise, also, not worth it. Honestly the rest looked prepackaged as well. I do expect the prepackaged and bulk stuff from a buffet, that's just part of it. This was a poor show of even that. It requires very little effort... Anyway, I was not blown away, in fact I was disappointed in a significant way. We were really hoping for one last thing on our trip to be sushi at a buffet, with the other traditional foods as well, and this just messed it all up being such a poor experience and food provision. Maybe next time, but not here.

Sushi Bomb is an all-you-can-eat sushi and hibachi restaurant in Robinson Township, on the other side of the parking lot from Robinson Mall. They have different lunch and dinner menus, with the lunch just being a more condensed version of the dinner menu. In addition, they serve a variety of non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. It is in a small strip mall with several businesses, so the restaurant itself is not gigantic. There is signage identifying the business out front, and the strip has designated parking in the front and on the side. However, since it is across the larger parking lot from the mall, any overflow parking can park in the mall lot and take the short stroll over. This is going to happen during peak business hours, as the strip simply will not have enough parking. In regards to seating, there are tables of varying sizes, in addition to some booths along the perimeter. On this visit, my fiance and I ate in on a Friday night in August. It was packed when we arrived, which was around 7:30 PM. Usually on the weekend nights, it will be rather busy. I have eaten here for lunch and been seated immediately, but I have found that for weekend dinners there will usually be a little bit of a wait. We actually put our name in before we left the house, and there were only a few parties ahead of us by the time we arrived at the restaurant. We live about 25 minutes away, so I would say if you do this about 30 minutes before you want to dine in, it should work out that your wait is minimal for the weekend nights. We were seated at a table after a short wait upon arriving. It is all-you-can-eat, but you order off of the menu and rolls are brought out fresh to you. So, we looked over the menu and began ordering some of the rolls we wanted to try. There are a ton to choose from - with over 100 menu items on the dinner menu alone. While we waited for our orders to come out, we visited the Cold Bar, which is set up more like a traditional buffet. It is not very large, but usually has Lettuce for a salad, different Seafood Salads, Fruits, Desserts, and various Sauces. The desserts especially seem to rotate in and out, so these might vary each time you visit. For appetizer-type items, we ordered the Edamame (3), Miso Soup (1), Spring Rolls (4), Shrimp Tempura (8), Crab Rangoons (9), Fried Calamari (10), and Gyoza Dumplings (6). My personal favorite is always the Shrimp Tempura, as I love shrimp in any form. The Edamame is a generous portion, though if you did not think so you could always just order some more! These dishes are served in small enough quantities that you can simply just put in for more if you find one you particularly like. It also helps you to save room for more sushi! Our sushi rolls included the following: Salmon Skin Roll (91), Paradise Roll (74), Angel Roll (64), King Lobster Roll (69), and Mango Roll (76), along with a few single Sushi pieces. I typically gravitate toward rolls with cream cheese, so for that I really enjoy the Angel Roll. Going along with my shrimp comment from above, I liked the King Lobster Roll and the Angel Roll for that reason. The roll sizes here are a great size. If you are trying to sample as many as you can, I would recommend splitting rolls between those you are eating with. From the Kitchen Entrees, we tried the Teriyaki Steak Hibachi (33). The portion on this could have been an entire meal by itself! It came with a generous portion of fried rice, vegetables, and steak, all coated in teriyaki sauce. I know it is unlimited, but I was pleasantly surprised with the portion of this dish. It is never too long of a wait between ordering and when your items come out of the kitchen. I have never had slow or bad service here, as there always seem to be a lot of waiters/waitresses and runners. From start to finish, we were in the restaurant less than 90 minutes. Even on nights that are busy such as this one, it is never a bad wait for anything. After we ate until we literally could not eat anymore, I visited the ice cream freezer. They just have the classics of Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry in single-serve cups, but it is always a nice way to end the meal here. After so much meat and rice, it helps to reset the pallet and leave on a sweet note. The value of this place is truly incredible. The adult dinner price is $23.99, and I believe the lunch price is about $5 less than that. It is hard to get a quality meal anywhere sit-down at that price nowadays, much less unlimited made-to-order sushi! I will forever recommend this place simply on the value alone. Truthfully, I love Sushi Bomb. As someone who was quite a sushi novice on my first trip here, I have grown more cultured and knowledged by trying a lot of different rolls from here over the years. I would highly recommend anyone giving this spot a try!
