We were recommended to talk to Auto Glass and they were super helpful in working with our car manufacturer to figure out how to get a replacement window. Unfortunately it seemed getting the glass would take too long for the manufacturer (10-14 days!!!!) so we were instead routed to their service center in Dallas. Auto Glass - at no charge (!!!) - knocked out the remaining glass, cleaned out the trunk of all the loose glass shards and patched us up temporarily so we could drive the car. Well, that is exactly what happened. When I returned to this location to have the crack addressed, they conveniently couldn't find any record of me having paid cash for a chip repair. I couldn't find my receipt so I was SOL. Looking back on this experience, I suspect the employee who did the chip repair for me picketed the cash I had paid. I can't think of another reason that there would be no record of me having gotten a repair done Edit: regardless of what the warranty on the chip repair was, you cannot actualize that if the business gaslights you about having serviced the vehicle in the first place.
