UPDATE 8/1/26 Still dealing with DCI as the plumbing company did not communicate the bill was paid. I have received 2 phone called from them and spent 10 minutes explaining on my call back how I've paid this bill. Also, was ccd on an internal email from the plumbing company. The lack of attention to detail is astounding. iI disputed a plumbing bill in 2024 after being told my concerns would be reviewed. Instead of receiving any follow-up, I heard nothing for nearly two years. The next contact I received was from a claims investigator who was immediately confrontational, refused to explain who they were when I asked what "CDI" stood for, and quickly threatened legal action. At no point did I refuse to pay the bill. I simply wanted to understand why my dispute had never been addressed. After I contacted the company directly, a representative apologized for the situation and agreed to reduce the balance from $475 to $350, which I paid immediately. I then get a call this morning again from their CDI department. The harassing phone calls after this has been resolved are unnecessary. While I appreciate that they were willing to reduce the amount and resolve the bill, the lack of communication for two years and the way this was handled caused unnecessary stress. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this company. Also, they do not carry garbage disposals, so if you have an after hours emergency or plumbing regarding that do not call. They will not be able to help until the next business day. read more

Back in November 2024, our HOA property management called ASAP to source a leak in our laundry room which the said no leak was found. Now a full year later ASAP came back out and found the same leak and charge our HOA $3300. The first ASAP plumber didn't do his job as he missed the leak. The second ASAP plumber used a fiberoptic camera and found the leak? Also another ASAP plumber came to check a leak he was very rude by stating " that is private information not to be shared?" In more detail - clog on main line from kitchen/laundry, water backing up into the bathtub. I tried to snake, tried to plunge, couldn't fix, called for help. WILLIAM arrived on time. Started immediately after brief explaining of water heater problem. Since ASAP was very busy this time William who worked another plumbing area came to our assistance. There along the way were a few otherr problems like out of the box the new water heater had a gash and could not be used. Williams attitude with each problem was pleasant and focused the problems and instalation ended with a custom rebuilt up to code plumbing, new water heater, and he thoroughly explained the gas valves and water shut off valves. The mess was nicely cleaned and the old stuff removed. The whole process took some extra time but proficient ly accomplished. ASAP has many phone people so a few times I needed to review what I was calling about and they pleasantly complied. ASAP number I keep handy for all my plumbing needs. We cook at home a LOT and even with regular cleanouts with Dawny and vinegar and baking soda we get clogs every few years that require a more thorough cleanout . A water filtration housing cracked open requiring house main to be shut off and isolation of the filters. Couldn't figure how it happened, so called ASAP Drain Guys. They were still in my phone from a successful drain clearance a few years earlier. I knew they were available 24/7, and Gustavo arrived 1.5 hours later. He quickly located a crack in the housing which was rated up to 90 PSI. He checked house pressure and found it to be 95 PSI. The house main regulator was at least 25 years old, and had finally failed. He also noted the age of the main shut off valve. He was back 2 days later with replacement parts. I had obtained a replacement filter housing and opted to replace filters. Gustavo had everything replaced and tested in 3 hours. Quick troubleshooting and a professional repair. Very satisfactory. I am extremely frustrated with ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing and would not recommend them to anyone. My tenants reported a clogged sink, so I reached out to ASAP for a free estimate. They scheduled an appointment for 3/31 between 12:00-14:00. However, my tenants informed my property manager that no one had arrived. I called ASAP and was told they had my work order but hadn't dispatched anyone due to emergency calls. They assured me my tenant would receive a call within 15 minutes with a new timeframe. Hours passed--no call. I had to follow up again, and they then promised someone would arrive between 17:00-18:00. I also asked that they call me with a quote before starting any work. No surprise--I never got a call. Sensing something was off, I reached out to ASAP again and was told they were still behind. They promised the plumber would call me directly. Finally, at 19:00, Luis called, stating he was in Pacific Beach and could arrive in 40 minutes. I asked him to check with my tenant first. Shortly after, he called back to say they rescheduled for the next day between 9:00-11:00. At this point, it was clear: ASAP Plumbing is anything but "ASAP." No communication--I had to chase them down at every step just to figure out when they were coming. But here's the worst part: Luis finally arrived the next morning, as scheduled, and quoted me a price that was double what another reputable company estimated. When I asked if he could tell whether the issue was due to old pipes, hair, or grease, he said he wouldn't know until he started working--but insisted I could only get an estimate at that time. The price was outrageous, so I declined. He was polite and said, "No problem, it's a free estimate anyway." Then, 10 minutes later, my property manager called, and I was absolutely shocked. My tenant was upset because Luis had told them, "Susan didn't want to pay for any fixes and I have to leave by her order. Susan is trying to blame all the issues on you when I could tell you didn't do it." Excuse me?? That was not what happened at all! I was concerned that the problem might be more than just a simple clog, and never asked Luis to falsify a report to blame it on the tenants. Luis twisted my words, made false accusations, and completely undermined my relationship with my tenants. If I were trying to blame my tenants, wouldn't I have just approved the work and charge them later? I simply wanted to know if there was an issue with the pipes at my home. How did my words get twisted so bad? Because I didn't want to take the high bid? I immediately called Luis to confront him, but he denied saying anything. I then called ASAP to report the issue and spoke with Gabriel. He stated he would escalate it to his manager. Unsurprisingly, I never heard back--hence this review. I understand that plumbing emergencies can cause delays, but the lack of communication, dishonesty, and unprofessionalism were completely unacceptable. I'm beyond disgusted by how Luis handled this. My tenants were upset, understandably so, and my rapport with them was damaged because of his false comments. I will say, Kat and Gabriel were friendly over the phone. They addressed my issues and took accountability, which I appreciate. Luis, on the other hand, was unprofessional and dishonest. Avoid this company. You will absolutely find better service at a lower price elsewhere. read more

I needed to turn off the water going to my washing machine because I couldn't move the frozen shut off. It filled up without being connected. Eduardo, from ASAP, arrived about 10:45am the same day I asked for the appointment. He went to Home Depot for new shut offs. He turned off the house water. He removed the frozen valves. He installed the new panel and connected the house water. It took about 2 and 1/2 hours. Eduardo is quick, informative and very pleasant. He speaks Spanish and English w/o an accent.
