Service technician arrived on time which seemed like a good sign, but kinda went down hill from there. We called this place for a leak coming from a pipe connected to our water heater and reviews from people had left me confident that the technician would show up with tools to find a leak other than a simple moisture sensor which I bought for $20 at Home Depot. He struggled to find the leak and suggested cutting open the wall in my living room to find the source of the leak. Then he started pushing an entire re-pipe of the whole house. At the last minute after expressing my concerns with having to also now fix dry wall and painting that would match the current, he checked around the water heater one more time and finally found the source of the leak. He ended up replacing the copper tee on the hot side. After fees this costed us $643.75. To replace one pipe. I feel furious and taken advantage of. I DO NOT recommend this place. read more

Amazing service!! Called on Monday. Scheduled for Tuesday from 10am to 1pm. Got a call promptly at 10 to let me know he was on the way. Was here by 10:30 and he cleared the drain and replace the p-trap. He cleaned up and left and we couldn't be happier. We haven't used the powder room sink in over a year. Now we can wash our hands. We had other quotes of over 600 dollars not including the consult fee. CSR was more affordable. Julio was our technician and he explained everything. I was not home but my mom was pleased with the service. Plumbing issues gives me anxiety. Especially not knowing much of how plumbing works. You hear horror stories and how much everything costs. I messaged CSR through Yelp after getting a prognosis from a larger HVAC/plumbing outfit that I was unsure about and a quote that felt insane - $3k to fix "immediate issues" problem, $10k to do the better more thorough fix, and $15k for the best fix. CSR responded and scheduled quickly, and I'm so glad I had them come out. The technician did a full inspection of my crawl space under the house, and reported back with clear and precise details. While he pointed out a couple higher risk things that could benefit from upgrade, he was very clear that there was no immediate concern, and the quote he gave me (good for 6 months) for the max upgrades he recommended was literally half the price of the other company's minimum recommendation to fix apparently non-existent immediate issues. I couldn't have been happier to pay the modest inspection fee for the tech's time, expertise, and - maybe most importantly - honesty. If you're like me, there is often an information gap between you and the tech who inspects your crawl space, leaving you vulnerable to embellishment and outright dishonesty. I contacted CSR to replace two angle stops from 1990 and a drain pipe at my kitchen sink. Huyen was prompt in returning my message and got me scheduled on a date that worked well for me (he could have had someone out same day, but my schedule didn't work). I recently reached out to CSR plumbing to repair/replace my 9 year old water hot heater which had begun leaking. Repair was not an option. I obtained 3 bids but felt most comfortable with the advice and recommendations provided by CSR. I chose them for the job and am so glad I did. Ultimately, I opted for a tankless hot water heater. Ray and Alex arrived precisely on time and worked relentlessly, on the not uncomplicated job, for 12 hours to make sure my family didn't go another day without water. Super appreciated this as it had been many days! Throughout the job I was updated every step of the way. When a decision needed to be made, they consulted me and made it clear my preferences mattered. They answered my MANY questions with patience and clarity. Another update, and this time I wish I could give 10 stars. I had a leak in my kitchen and hallway, and it was unclear if it was from a heavy rain or a leaky pipe. Ray spent hours making sure he checked every possibility, fixed the problem, and then spent a long time explaining every detail to me to make sure I understood what happened and what to watch out for, and he told me to call immediately with any questions if I suspect any more problems. He even adjusted the original estimate (which was quite fair to begin with) downward after he completed the work, which he did not need to do. It's so rare to find someone that you trust 100%, but that's how I feel about Ray and anyone else I have worked with from CSR. I haven't slept for two days worrying about what this might mean for my house and checking for more leaks, but I know I will sleep well tonight thanks to Ray and CSR! read more

We had them replace an old cast iron waste water pipe under our house (we have a raised foundation) with ABS pipe. The job was done promptly and they took great care to make sure all connections were leak free. Since they were there, we also had them flush our tankless water heater. This was a spur of the moment request which they graciously agreed to do in addition to the previously contracted work. We are more than happy and will be calling them for any future plumbing needs. The whole job including the flush took about 6 hours. The price for the main job was beyond reasonable. Every job is different of course , but we were bid (rounded) $6,000 for the same job by California Plumbing San Diego. CSR's bid (rounded) was $2,600. A whole lot cheaper and they did a great job. Not only was CPSD's price much much higher but CPSD's estimate did not have a "good for" clause in thier estimate and the estimator kept saying if the price of materials went up, the estimate would too when I texted him on this issue. We went back and f orth and he finally said to call the office. They gave me an estimate with a 30 day good for date. Sorry, no deal. I am not playing that game. You give me an estimate that's good for a certain period of time. If I agree and contract for that, you honor that regardless. I shouldn't have had to insist on that. TBH the price for the "flush" was quite a bit more money than the "biggies" like Anderson, ASI and Bill Howe are advertising on the TV. However, in our book, price is not everything. In fact, we had used Anderson for our tankless heater install and signed up for their "VIP" subscription. We were not happy with their after service and will never use them again. read more
