I called on a Thursday for a shut off valve issue with my toilet. In short, I wasn't getting any water flow from the valve into the tank, so I assumed there was a clog. And if not, this was surely an issue far beyond my level of expertise. Their earliest availability was the following Monday (4 days) later, which was sooner than I expected. They kept me on stand by for the following day (Friday), but no such luck. My service window was 9 AM - 12 PM and two technicians showed up directly to my door around 9:30. Also sooner than I expected. I was impressed not only by the timing but also their sense of direction. Getting to my condo unit can be confusing with the various gate entrances, but these guys clearly knew what they were doing. Most people get lost. Not these guys. This job required a water main shut off in my HOA and they knew exactly where to go. They were friendly and professional and in and out in under 1 hour 30 minutes. The only reason I am at 4 stars is because I was quoted $225 for the job, but was charged $325. That seems a bit off, but the job was done swiftly and so I didn't bother challenging them. read more

The technician, Buddy, was professional and friendly, open to explaining things, and did a good job. This was replacing to shower valve cassettes, and one of them was really stuck in there and had to be broken apart to be chipped out and extracted. I was curious, and Buddy didn't mind me watching. This is a horrible company that does substandard work and doesn't care about the customer. The owner has no integrity. If there's any project that you wanna have done correctly, I would stay far away from this company. We spent over $15,000 in 2022 on the sewer main extension and repair that now four years later has the same problems as before we paid them a good amount of money to fix. It no different before they got involved and I paid them over $15k. When I emailed him, Tony, the owner responded that he will not do anything to the project and will not even evaluate what is going on. " we will not be coming back to the property" were his words. This is a horrible business and a horrible company stay away!! I wish I I had chosen a company that has integrity and pride and I probably should've known the moment they came with their excuses regarding another issue where they did not realize that a gas line was gonna be impacting the fall the sewer. The main sewer line doesn't have the fall that it needs, and that they promised would be provided, such that now we have numerous bellies for our sewer line. It's really too bad that this company has no integrity. If you have a project over $1000 to do with this company I would stay away. Make sure they just stick with taking in and out toilet covers because they don't stay standby their word. I'm not doing this out of meanness. Contacted the company and Joanne provided an estimate as well sending one of their filed techs, Sami, for an onsite inspection and free estimate. Called other companies as well for estimates but we decided to move forward with Courtesy Plumbing based from Yelp reviews and the professionalism and upfront communication shown by Sami. Joan was able to set us up for an appointment the next day and Sami showed up promptly at the schedule time. He emptied the tank while disconnecting all the connections (water, gas, etc..) and finally assembled, installed and tested our new tank. So far, all is working properly and we're very happy with it! Asked for a quote through Yelp the following morning and received a response immediately. Over the phone, we discussed price and availability ($100 discount through Yelp), and they were able to get a technician out to me within about an hour. Plastic mats were rolled out. Old tank was disconnected and wheeled out. Closet space was inspected for moisture before the new tank was brought upstairs and installed, all to code with a new thermal expansion tank and flex lines. Whole process after arrival took about 2.5 hours and I had hot water running again about 30 minutes after that. read more

I was SHOCKED when I received an invoice for more than double what I was quoted for a toilet install. I was never once informed of the potential for incremental charges, nor did I approve anything beyond the original scope of our contract. This company employs unethical individuals who invent extra work in an attempt to rack up additional charges. Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience with Courtesy Plumbing. We paid almost $600 to have a cartridge replaced, it took several hours to do the work, and in the end we had to redo everything that they did. In more detail - we reached out several months ago to have a shower cartridge replaced (it was stuck on one temperature). The plumber who came had a lot of difficulty replacing the cartridge. Several times he told me that it was done and fixed but when I tested it out, it clearly wasn't. He also initially reinstalled the shower trim (the metal plate with the hot/cold labels) so that it was rotated 90 degrees off. Eventually he finished, but we noticed after he left that the trim was crooked and the shower handle was loose. We decided to fix these issues ourselves. In the process of fixing those issues, we also investigated why water in that bathroom wasn't getting as hot as expected. After several months we were able to identify and fix a different, unrelated plumbing problem. However, water in the problematic shower was still not getting as hot as expected. It turned out that the cartridge was faulty and we had to replace it again. So in the end, we ended up redoing all the work that Courtesy Plumbing did. read more
