I have had Drain Mob line 3 sewer lines in the past 5 years. Their staff is great: personable, informative, meticulous in their work, and careful to protect your home from potential damage. Their cleanup is spotless. They provide good explanations for all of their recommendations and repair methods. They solve difficult problems with sewer lines, especially cast-iron pipe lines in most homes over 40 years old. Relining the cast iron pipe before it leaks avoids the significant expense of replacing it when it is under the slab of your home. They are lined with a fiberglass sleeve that guarantees the pipe for an additional 20 years. It also replaces the cast iron pipe's jagged, rough surface with a smooth liner that reduces the risk of future clogging. They camera the pipe to identify all problem areas. They also re-camera the pipe after the sleeving to document that the repair has been completed satisfactorily. You get a copy of both videos. We had clogged patio drains. We have about 140 feet to drainage pipes. We reached out to several plumbers and each quoted between 1300 and 1500 for hydro jet and drains. One even quoted 850 for 25 feet. We have some cracks in pipe and they all also recommended we perform pipe lining. Quotes weee coming in at 22k plus. We called drainmob and they quoted over phone and came by today. 1200 later they cleared all our drains plus sewer drain. They located all breaks and left markings on exactly where breaks were. After dealing with several plumbers over the years, I can gladly say we're officially endorsing Drain Mob as the best in San Diego. Not only does their team consist of incredibly competent technicians, but their quoting, estimating, and communication processes are the most seamless and efficient we've ever experienced. We had been dealing with recurring soft clogs that seemed to worsen over time. Multiple plumbing companies previously advised us to get a main line hydrojetting, which we eventually did--but frustratingly, we ended up with yet another soft clog the very next week. At that point, we were convinced we were dealing with some combination of toilet paper buildup and cast iron corrosion based on the "facts" provided by other services. Then came Drain Mob. After experiencing the same clog again, we called in the morning, and they quickly scheduled Cody and Mike to come out later that day. Both were fantastic--professional, thorough, and genuinely committed to finding the real issue. They scoped the line, checked multiple cleanouts, walked us through several potential scenarios, and didn't jump to conclusions. With a full camera inspection, they discovered something none of the prior plumbers had caught: our entire system was ABS except for one small, forgotten section of cast iron in the main line. That isolated section had a corroded baffle that was catching toilet paper and progressively worsening. Even though it was late in the evening, Cody and Mike took their time, properly diagnosing the situation, and provided a fair and reasonable quote for digging out and replacing that cast iron segment with a new ABS junction. Cody immediately got on the phone with his coworker to try and schedule us in ASAP, mentioning that this job needed to be done with high priority to prevent further soft clogs. He even offered to come by to clear any potential clogs he suspected could happen at our place until the scheduled job the next week, his way home after his shift ended, free of charge. A+ customer service right there. On the day of the job, Mauricio, Carlos, and Caleb were phenomenal. They arrived promptly, and Mauricio--who led the project--clearly explained every step of the process before starting. He checked in with us throughout the dig and install, keeping us updated on progress. The job was completed efficiently, and the quality of their work was evident.
