5 years ago today on March 17, 2021, I participated in my first Pilates Reformer class at Club Pilates in Vacaville, in the Nut Tree Plaza. Game changer. During the Covid Pandemic, I was scrolling through Facebook one late evening (early morning). I saw a person on what I now know to be the 'reformer.' At the time, I was curious what they were doing - it looked interesting. Happy to say, my life is better for participating in Pilates. It offers a holistic approach to overall well being for body, mind and soul. When you find something you love to do, it makes all the difference. I arrived late afternoon one day to get the preliminaries out of the way (sign my waiver, etc) before signing up for my first class. Upon arrival I told the young female receptionist I had joined online through One Pass and probably needed to sign my waiver, download their app for check ins (I assumed), and get class information, etc. Instead of welcoming me in any way she told me twice they don't do One Pass. I tried assuring her I had received confirmation (from Club Pilates). She asked if perhaps my membership was through Class Pass because they didn't participate with One Pass. I told her I was given a member code to give to them. While I searched my phone for the code she exasperatedly asked for my name. It was at that time she put down the towels she was folding. She looked on her computer, and said, she found it. I signed the waiver, asked my questions - including how much private lessons cost? She replied, "oh they cost a lot of money." She never told me how much. I left. I felt so unwelcome. I wondered if she just didn't want to do her job or didn't want me there. Her sheer lack of effort, condescending, and lackadaisical attitude made me wonder should I cut my losses and find another gym? After careful consideration I decided that she didn't get to decide my fate so I scheduled my first class with Madi and loved it! I haven't seen that receptionist since and hopefully she's gone. Lol. The gym is small and intimate with reformer machines. Classes range from beginner to advanced pilates daily. The location is at the Outlets near Peets Coffee with shared parking. This Pilates studio is excellent! Its sister studio in Fairfield is also great. Teachers are very knowledgeable and well trained, and they always suggest modifications for exercises as needed. I became a member of Club Pilates Vacaville a year ago ( 11/23/23). I really enjoyed my workouts. Club Pilates offers contemporary Pilates and most work outs are done on a reformer. There is very little mat workouts, so if you love to do mat Pilates you really will not get that here. You will get the opportunity to use the reformer, weights, bar, magic circle, the TRX, bouse ball, various props and depending on who is teaching you might get to do some wunda chair exercises. My experience was great and I met some great teachers. Club Pilates Vacaville was a great introduction to take my practice to the next level and try other styles of Pilates. Now I am on my way to becoming a teacher myself. The only downside is getting in some of the classes when you want. Classes tend to fill up quickly and if you are not an unlimited member you are only able to book 4-8 classes at a time depending on your membership package. This makes it challenging as unlimited members can book as many classes as they want which means the lower class members often have to go on a wait list and hope someone cancels or is a no show. I basically was able to get just about any class I wanted even if I went on the wait list unless it was that one really popular teacher that everyone wanted in on that class. read more

This review is long overdue! Pilates is an amazing program. I saw the transformation of my son's physique after he'd been doing Pilates for a few years. I took some classes with him and wasn't loving it but decided to trust and jumped in when CLUB PILATES opened in Vacaville. I have attended 2 classes a week since November of 2021. While some are hesitant to join this practice because of price, it truly is an investment in your body. For example, I had been working out my entire adult life, and thought I was in good shape. However, I was not very flexible. What a difference I have seen not only in my flexibility, but my balance, core strength and spinal mobility have improved dramatically. This Club is a great choice because of the wide variety of classes/times. I HIGHLY recommend Pilates and CLUB PILATES in particular. The instructors are well trained, the customers are friendly. I have even seen some gals and guys who attend set classes become friends and plan outings. Cant recommend this business more highly! Join if you want to invest in your health!! read more

I've been going to Club Pilates of Vacaville religiously for about a year and it had helped me tremendously on healing my chronic foot pain. I love everything from the atmosphere, to the instructors and the many walks of life I've met and befriended along the way. Not to mentioned but even the front staffs is kind and the manager Karen is nothing short of professionalism and her prompt response to any of my questions or concerns puts me at eased. Yes, there's going to be a waitlist from time to time, giving the popularity of this place but you have to be patience and trust the process because 9 out of 10 times you will get in. Altogether, I can't say enough great things about this establishment but if you haven't done so already, you should give the free Intro class a try and who knows, you might like it. read more

I started Club Pilates at the end of July this year. My initial experience with Robin to start the process was extremely smooth, she/they was great with explaining the different memberships, and she/they answered all of my questions truthfully. My intro class was very informative as to what to expect for the actual classes. Pilates is a great workout, but definitely a workout that challenges you often! I've had classes with Christina, Rachel, Julia and Madi have been phenomenal and I love how each class changes with each instructor. They will engage with you for different things with the workout, and if there's something that needs to be adjusted for your benefit, they will come up to you and say it with kindness. They're all willing to answer all questions you have, and always say that if you have an injury or need assistance with modifying, please ask. I ended up enjoying Pilates so much I upgraded to unlimited classes. The instructors are all amazing and very helpful! I specially enjoy Karen's classes. She is awesome!! Enjoy my experience here most of the time. Pilates is a great full body workout! Could be cleaner... usually see crumbs under the reformer (evan at 7 am) and dust bunnies on the top of the TRX poles. Some instructors are better than others but everyone likes something different I imagine. If it gets cleaner I would give it 5 stars. read more

The introduction class was great and based off that my daughter and I both signed up for the 4 pack per month. Little did we know that we could not get into any classes that fit our work and school schedules. Every class we wanted was booked. We were forced to sign up for classes that really didn't work for us. We found out after the fact that class credits don't roll over so in our first month we have lost class credits. When we found out classes don't roll over we immediately cancelled our memberships. We have the month of April coming with 4 new credits and I'm pretty sure we will encounter the same difficulties. Great workout and instructors. If you're going to join and can afford it then just do unlimited because at least then you have good chances of getting into classes that fit your needs. read more

After coming across this class on social media my friend and I decided to sign up and prepay for 3 months. We both completely regret that! Don't get me wrong...I enjoyed the class however the building is small therefore it doesn't accommodate very many people. I work a full time job 9-5 like the average person which means classes have to be scheduled in the evening or on the weekdays, however those classes always fill up quick. Because it was often impossible to work around my schedule and their class size...I lost out on money I already paid as they do not credit or refund. To top it off, I cancelled my membership 30 days in advance before my 4th month and they still charged me. Because they pull the fee out 4 days before the next month it technically wasn't cancelled 30 days before the next month. They refuse to credit me back.That is bad business. I would not recommend this business to anyone. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place. I was pretty intimidated to try it out, being a guy, but it ended up being one of my best decisions. I had done Pilates at home for a while but wanted to try a real class. All of the staff here are super welcoming and you quickly become part of the community. They have such a variety of classes and each instructor puts their own spin on the class. My core had never been as strong as it became coming here. There are so many great instructors but Ashley was my favorite. Her energy, spirit and thoughtfulness is infectious. My only complaint is that they are so popular that you often have to book your classes a week or more out to get a spot. I unfortunately had to move but I plan to sign up in my new city. Instructors are great. Atmospheres is great. Many types of classes to suit your taste. No intimidation here. Something for everyone. If you're not prescheduled in advance for a class and you think it might be full just show up or call on the day of. I've done that many times and 95% of the time I've always gotten in. I had my first free intro reformer flow class today with Hilary and absolutely loved it. I've been lacking motivation with my gym routine so I wanted to try something different. I have only done mat Pilates so I wasn't sure what to expect but she took the time to explain everything. The work out was a bit harder than I expected (which I enjoyed!) and I got some good stretching in. I signed up for a membership and can't wait for my next class! read more

The instructors in the morning are very good, but the admin and management staff are not trained properly and make mistakes that impact their customers. It is very difficult to get into morning classes as they are booked far in advance. I had all of my classes booked and one of the administrative staff canceled all of my classes (7) in error which now meant I could not get back into these classes because they are all full. When I called to talk with the manager (Haley), she was none apologetic and was not helpful nor did she undo the error on their part. The result is all my classes I had booked are no longer available to me because they let others take my place after they canceled my bookings and to make matters worse Haley was curt and rude. In my opinion, you don't do your customers this way or you will soon be losing them. There are other good pilate's studios in town that can offer a better experience. No longer a fan! read more

The people who work here are super nice and super cool. The Pilates teachers are very knowledgeable, if you are new to the Pilates world there is no stress at all. Whatever body type, whatever age they take that into account- no pressure. And this is how I like my exercise, I am not trying to be a monster fit crazed person, just chill. I have seen the difference in my body and stamina since I joined(just delivered baby)We do use an app to schedule classes so it is super convenient and easy to keep up with exercise and maintain it. I was so excited when this studio started advertising they were coming to Vacaville. I have always wanted to try Pilates and this was like kismet! Saw an add on FB about them and sent my info, and became one of the founding members. I have never been a fan of the gym, so this was iffy for me. I went to an Intro class and for real fell in love! They say as far as fitness goes everyone has their thing.... well this is mine! I have FINALLY found my thing. The entire staff is awesome! The instructors switch up their routines, and each teaches a little different, you have a variety of different types of Pilates classes you can take, at various levels of fitness. The schedule is fantastic so there is a class at most every time of day. You can modify the movements based on what your body allows and build from there!!
