I had a very favorable experience with ASAP Towing, which is one of two services I was advised to utilize for the coverage provided by my car insurance agency. The tow truck arrived sooner than the estimated time of arrival. The driver, Brandon (General Manager too, I think), negotiated the tricky, narrow driveway expertly to get to the car and secure it with his tow equipment. He treated me with courtesy and respect. My son's BMW convertible experienced battery/alternator problems while on the road. Worse yet was the convertible top was stuck open and the clouds were rolling in. An emergency situation. ASAP receptionist, Leighza, was extremely competent and helpful in dispatching a tow truck driver to help us. My non-local roadside assistance company apparently randomly chose ASAP to change my tire on interstate 5 on the county line. After waiting 30 of the 60 minute window, I got a call from ASAP stating that they don't change tires on the freeway as it's too dangerous for his guys. Hello. These men did not explain anything to the drivers of the cars as far as billing. We got hit and had to come out of poket almost 500 dollars because these guys are not up to date with the present they cant bill you later or get confirmation of a bill through insurance. Im giving these guys a one star because one couldnt answer any questions about billing or how much this would cost and the other guy couldnt explain anything. Asap towing has dissapointed me if I would have just got an honest answer or someone to explain something this would of been a great review. read more

I recently broke down just outside Bellingham and searched out ASAP Towing on Yelp. After reading the previous review I was a bit skeptical, but I gave them a call anyways. And I'm really glad I did. The driver showed up quickly and was very friendly and professional. He offered to bring us in to Bellingham, but also mentioned that they also bring cars into Canada (I was travelling from BC). After a call to the boss, they arranged all the transportation and paperwork and drove us to our Vancouver repair shop, all on a Sunday night. The driver who drove us home was very friendly and I would recommend them again in a heart beat. Hopefully I'll never need to use them again, but if I ever break down in Blaine or Bellingham, I won't hesitate to call them. read more

Absolutely terrible company! I locked my keys in my car off of Chukanut and my insurance contacted ASAP towing to come do a lockout service. I was locked out with my sister, on her birthday, with three kids. I called after an hour and they hadn't even put the order through yet but said it would be 30 minutes because the guy was working on lights on another truck in the yard. I called back after another 40 minutes and was told he was just then pulling out of the driveway. I reminded her that I had three small kids with me and the girl said she was watching him pull out of the driveway. After another hour I called back and I was told that he never left, she didn't know why, but nobody was coming to help us. She had blatantly lied to me...again. We spent three hours waiting for them, were lied too repeatedly, and had to file another claim, which went to Huston towing, and they were there in another hour. We spent 4 hours waiting and couldn't even leave and come back because, for three of those hours, I kept getting assured he would be there soon. This company doesn't care about helping, integrity, making money, and they have no pride. I am disgusted at how we were treated by ASAP towing. read more

This company was called to tow my son's car which was stolen and had been abandoned. They charged over $600 for the tow and storage for 6 days, not bothering to let anyone know it was there so they could let the storage charges rack up. They wouldn't even consider lightening up on the charges as "they don't have to" according to them . How much does it cost to store a vehicle. Nothing! these people are slime bags. read more

We were told that to tow my fiancee's truck to my house they were going to charge us $300 an hour and it would be about 45 to an hour. They showed up at my house 2 hours later and charged us over $800! They even have a recording of this conversation and still over charges us! Will never use this company again!!! read more

I am not sure what the person above is talking about. I went on a search for towing and ended up calling ASAP because they were the cheapest. I needed my car toweed to the shop. Their dispatcher was very polite and professional and they were out to get my car in under 30 minutes. The driver was very polite and worked very fast and the price was exactly what they quoted. A week and a half later I needed to have my car towed back again because I could not afford the repair. Again dispatch was very nice and they had my car back to me in about an hour. This was a different driver (Jeff) and again, very polite and professional. I am sorry I was unable to tip because I am beyond broke but they both deserved it. I called ASAP Towing after doing a quick Google search when my car died on the side of the freeway on Christmas evening (worst evening for something like this!). Within 30 minutes, a very friendly and helpful driver was out with the truck. He towed my car into town and helped me figure out what the issue was. He stayed with me until I was able to drive my car with the confidence I'd make it home. It'll be going to the shop first thing tomorrow, but he saved me the hassle and expense of dropping it off Christmas evening and leaving me carless and figuring out how to get to my house several miles north of Bellingham. I would definitely recommend ASAP Towing - they went out of their way on one of the worst nights possible to make sure I was safe and had a car that would get me home. After 41 years of accident free driving I finally bit the ditch on a snow covered street. The ditch was so deep it swallowed up my truck and was barely visible from the street. I imagined it would take days for the snow to melt in order to pull it out and would get destroyed in the process. my car wouldn't start on weds. 5/10/2017, so I went down to asap towing office to pay and give keys to my car. the office gal was polite. she told us she would have the car back to me between 11 am and 1 pm.. I asked her if the truck would be a flatbed and she said if one was available she would send it. well 1:15 had approached and no car , well tbhe phone ring and it was the driver, telling me he was at the burger kind and asked where my car was , I replied its right there and I told him what kind of car it was , he replied with oh here it is right in front of me and the he asked if I had the key and I said no it was dropped off at the yard, he says I guess I better go get it. so I waited for the car to show and noticed it was 3 pm and no car and I called the office and the gal said he just left here with the key. so finally my car shows up at 3:30, well the guy must of tried to back it in like 5 times, well for some moronic reason he got out of the truck and took the strap of the tire on the driver side, so he got back in the truck and started backing in he jack knifed the truck and the front tire came of the lift and in the process something, happened when the nose of my car was being ripped off as the car came off the lift. yes u guessed it, yes I was pissed and cussed his ass out and when he looked at what he did, he said we will pay for it. so I call down to the office I asked for it to be fixed, well when I asked for a rental car ok they would look into it, she said she would call me back, well no call back so when I called back some guy answered phone and I explained why I was calling and it must of been the owner, he said no rental and proceeded to call me a jackass a couple of times and as of today 5/18/2017 still no rental car, it there was a lower rating to give below a 1 star this company would receive a -10, very unprofessional, ( the gal was ok ) but as far as a owner he is a complete moron and the driver needs to read the book TOWING FOR DUMMIES. this is the worst tow company in Whatcom county, they have 2 locations one in Blaine and the other in Bellingham, they screw ur car up while towing it, and then they will call u names after they screw ur car up and then they wont even pay re imbursement for the rental car for 8 days. Worst of the worst slime ball tow-truck company. Needed them to tow my company vehicle to a local repair shop, but they were able to jump start it instead. Good news right? Wrong! They still insisted on towing it anyways, even though I was completely able to drive it to the shop myself. As soon as I said "no" to towing it for no reason, they started demanding I pay up front for the jump start. I gave them a payment order number and address to send the invoice to, but no that wouldn't work because the idiot driver and owner said they've never heard of the company I work for, even though it's a nationwide 4.5 billion dollar company on the NYSE. It's not my fault these morons haven't heard of it. They blocked my vehicle in until I was able to get my boss on the phone and pay for it out of pocket since it was a Sunday night and no one was at our main office. This was the most unprofessional and annoying experience I've ever had with any company. I will never recommend these scumbags to anyone. read more

Fantastic company. The bad reviews seem like folks bummed about things that aren't ASAP's fault. My experience, however, was great. I called them when a winch out set up by my insurance ended up with another company saying they were incapable and leaving my family including our one year old stranded in the snow. Aaron made sure they got someone out to me when they were slammed because of the bad weather, and kept me updated as I waited. Their driver Nathan was friendly, professional and efficient. 10 minutes later they had us back in the road. Not only are they good at what they do, they are also good people. We got our Jeep stuck on a forest road near Mt Baker this weekend. So stuck that after two hours of digging we found a little bit of cell service to make a call. Apparently, these guys are the only ones who tow off main roads. He got his wrecker stuck twice trying to reach us despite chains and we ended up helping him winch his truck out, before winching our Jeep out. Aaron was professional and courteous throughout the experience, despite having taken up four hours of his Saturday evening. I'm very pleased with his service and saved his phone number since I plan on going up there again... although I should probably just buy a winch :). read more

While ASAP towing does have good customer service and is relatively quick with their services, they don't treat their employees very well. There is no clear communitaction between the managers and the dispatchers or drivers. One manager will tell you something and the next manager will tell you another. They are two-faced liars, and I say this because they will reassure you that you are "doing a great job" and be more than willing to give you the time off that you ask for but then fire you because you are "unreliable" but they don't tell you that they fired you. Instead they will sugar coat it and tell you that they have to let you go due to "company cutbacks" but of course they won't tell unemployment that because they don't give a damn about you. All in all, the managers don't have the patience or the time to train their employees properly or have the decency to be honest with them so that they can improve and prove that they are valuable to the company.
