Ordered two coffees, a breakfast bowl and a sandwich... $40. Cool alright. They messed up my coffee order and gave me a hot latte when I ordered cold brew and the food took 40 minutes to come out. And it was wrong. I have a tomato allergy and I ordered my food without tomato's and it came with. I can't even pick it off (severe allergy). Breakfast bowl was terrible. Incredibly greasy and not mixed together at all. Very bizarre. Very disappointed. 0/10. Go somewhere else read more

Vibe is fine, but the lattes are just "ok". Not memorable and not worth the drive. If you're already in the neighborhood and want a place to get some work done, this place could be for you. This is the best coffee shop in the Addison area. If you like Ascension, it's the same company. 84 Point Coffee just has pastries, breakfast tacos and drinks though, while Ascension has a full menu. Definitely the move. read more

I'm a fan! It's not tied to the other Ascension coffee shops, even though it does say Ascension on its website, so that's a little confusing. It also is surprising on the inside because from the outside it looks like it'd be a plain office coffee shop, but the interior is so cute. Very spacious. Great environment to study and drink good coffee. However, the food is over priced for the quantity of food your receive. Portions are very small. For example, I ordered a Chicken Caesar salad for $12 and it only had two small pieces of chicken on it and it would not even qualify as a side salad at many restaurants. In addition, they didn't include the soft-boiled egg as advertised and when I let them know they said that they didn't have any and were sorry. But they could have told me that before I ordered it as that was the main reason I decided to get it. read more

I like the atmosphere here. Staff was friendly and personable. I had a matcha latte w/oat milk. It was amazing as expected. Well decorated for the season and my gift cards came in cute, free, boxes! Stopped in for an afternoon latte to meet up with a friend. Noticed it was part of the Ascension coffee guys from design district.... so I knew what to expect of the coffee - good just above avg. barista having trouble with espresso machine shots - mgr (?) stepped in to take over but still took 10 mins or more to get a drink with no other customers waiting. While I appreciate the concern over making the shot right, I'm surprised they weren't dialed up at 1 in the afternoon. Glad I wasn't in a hurry today. Love the chia seed pudding so I had it delivered to my hotel for two days straight! All natural flavor (not too sweet in a good way) with crunchy nuts and coconut pieces. A friend introduced me to 84 Point to meet and catch up. Since then I've been meeting other friends and vendors there and introducing them to the goodness and ambiance. Nothing like a Starbucks. All of the baristas are super friendly. I love their almond milk honey lavender latte so much that I've not tried anything else. read more

This place is serious about coffee and even the espresso blend is smooth. The baristas took the time to make the shot right. Leaves a weird aftertaste that isn't the baristas fault. The roaster is very good here but I think the espresso blend needs a little tweaking. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. If your drinking milk based drinks you'll be in heaven here. I'm sure the espresso is more crafted for blending than drinking alone. read more

Nice atmosphere, but they don't use real dishes, which makes the avocado toast difficult to eat.

It's an alright place. It has a decent study environment, although it gets a bit hot in the building (and I am a very cold natured person). Do not get a smoothie. I think they use some kind of mix instead of fruit. My chocolate croissant was a bit tough; but I went later in the day so they might be better in the morning. read more

Two words: first time. Two words: honey lavender. OMG! I was being nosy at work, as usual, and heard my boss speaking highly of his 84 Point experience to another person. I Googled the place and was instantly impressed. I love coffee spots that love coffee themselves enough to ensure the quality is top notch. I then placed 84 Point Craft Coffee on my list of places to go ASAP. Well, two days later, I've arrived. I'm still here, in the parking space, typing this review. First off, upon entering, the smiles of the baristas matched the warm ambiance of the inside. Christina assisted me (we have the same name). She was awesome, sweet and very informative. She honed in to what I generally like about coffee, then she gave me some great recommendations. I went with her first choice, since the reviews I previously read matched up with her recommendation. The honey and lavender latte is AMAZING!!! It sounds weird but the taste is surprisingly delightful. The flavors are what I call, "happily married." I also purchased a bacon breakfast burrito. They have chorizo and veggie as well. The chorizo was gone, so I assume it must be the top choice among customers. I can't review the burrito because it's super hot and I'm typing. This review is for coffee only but I'm sure the food is good too. Will I return? I'll be here in the morning, bright and early. read more

Ascension has some of the best cold brew I have ever had and their breakfast tacos are addicting. If you want to get crazy you should try their Kyoto cold brew. Incredibly smooth and beyond strong. Only draw back is the music is a bit loud. read more

This place is a lot larger than I thought it was and was actually quite empty when I came with a friend a few weeks ago, so it seems like it would be good for larger groups. I found the whole concept of the point system for coffee very interesting and decided to get a drip coffee. Good, but I don't have the most sophisticated palette when it comes to coffee. I liked that they had pastries and a good selection of sandwiches, salads and paninis in a fridge in the back. Cute place, good service and lots of options. read more

I love that this cool little coffee shop is tucked away in Addison. They're coffee is really great. Plenty of milk options (soy, coconut, almond, I think hemp?) Cashier has always been friendly. A definite plus is that the space is a decent size so it's really easy to find a table to sit down and work. They are too pricey to be my everyday coffee but perfect for the occasional craft coffee craving. read more

Don't know why I haven't been coming here earlier! This is a very nice place to get some work done. Relatively spacious interior with variety of table settings. Wifi is robust. Their house coffee is delicious and rich tasting too. I believe they are owned by the same people who run Ascension near downtown but 84 Point is more of a cozy coffeeshop environment. read more

What's not to like about this place? Friendly staff, great coffee and cool music. Plenty of places to sit and work with out being crowded by everyone else. There's a variety of seating; tables, padded benches, a bar with a view to a great outdoor patio. I agree with other reviews about the availability of outlets to plug in. I recommend bringing a small extension cord with some extra outlets on it. Other than that, it's my go-to coffee shop to sit and get some work done. read more

I'm only taking one star off coz of the prices! But i'm still probably gonna go there again as the coffee was soooo GOOD. One sip and I was transported to heaven!
