I drove about 40 minutes to check this place out, and honestly, it was a big disappointment. Most coffee roasters let you sample before buying, but here they expect you to blindly purchase bagged coffee with no samples, no guidance. The girl taking my order didn't seem knowledgeable at all, and the staff in general weren't friendly. I even asked how can we taste coffee samples and she had no clue but obviously they do tours but she didn't know it. They also don't take cash like what??? When my order was ready, they just called my name and left the drinks on a rack. For a first-time visitor, that was confusing and felt impersonal. Why am I picking up my coffee like I'm grabbing a package instead of being served? I ordered a white chocolate mocha macchiato, and it was hands down the worst coffee I've ever had. It was flavorless, bitter, and straight into the trash. Even my 5-year-old threw away his cake pop. That should say a lot. Between the unfriendly service, confusing setup, lack of knowledge, and bad drinks, I literally want my money back. If this style of service and coffee is your thing, maybe you'll like it, but it's absolutely not for me.

Came for the coffee tour on a Saturday morning. Our tour guide was super knowledgeable and very friendly. He answered many questions about the process and about the Parks brand in general. It was really cool to get it behind the scenes look at the packaging process and how they make their blends. After walking through there was a coffee tasting set up. I like how they paired the different pastries with the different blends. Great tour for coffee lovers!!

This coffee roastery is an absolute gem. Not only was the coffee delicious, but the inside is huge. It's perfect for studying, catching up with friends, or a place for afternoon coffee and board games. Highly recommend.

If you're in need of strong, delicious coffee. This is the spot. Can actually taste the espresso in the drinks that I can appreciate when most "hip" coffee spots don't hit the spot. There is a huge workspace towards the back, where you can sip your coffee and do some work. I got the Kentucky cold brew, for under 5$ this drink was 10/10. Can opt for a splash or in my case, a heavy splash of milk of your choice. Cold brew was strong and so so good. Def will be back to this cafe!!

Very Stale Croissant and the remade Latte

Cool looking place; terrible customer service. Asked for my coffee in a mug to drink there, the barista gave me it in a paper cup. When I politely mentioned I wanted my latte in a mug for here, he simply took the lid off the paper cup, then sloshed it into the mug. I asked if he poured the contents of the mug, from The paper cup, he said yes. Then he said, is that okay? I was slightly thrown off, that he thought that it would be okay and asked him, what he thinks? He eventually made me another cup, and proceeded to give me strange looks while I was there. Then the croissant I ordered was very stale. It took such an effort to cut through it, and tasted like it was several days old. When I mentioned it to the other server, he just said, "oh is it not good? Sorry about that". No intention of trying to put things right. Neither of the two folks behind the counter were very welcoming and quite frankly, both had terrible customer service. More worryingly, these two represent the company. So for me, it wasn't a good representation. Lots to improve. Park Roasters should do some mystery shopping, and see this for themselves. The expectation and standard should be much better than it currently is.

Not much to say about good coffee except Damn. This is GOOD coffee. Also love the interior, wonderful energy in there from staff and the patrons. Good space for friends or to solo do work!

I've been trying to find a good coffee shop in the DFW area for a while now. For whatever reason, I couldn't find anything except cloyingly sweet drinks with a shot of espresso. Luckily, I found Parks Coffee Roastery & Cafe. I stopped in to meet someone for breakfast and saw that they had a breakfast taco called "The Jess Special" so I had to order that. It was... fine... Honestly, I was a little disappointed that something with my namesake would be so bland. I mean, what does that say about me? Am I... bland? No... It's the restaurant that is wrong. Anyway, the coffee was definitely the highlight. I ordered a pour-over of an Ethiopian and enjoyed it thoroughly. There was a hint of fruitiness that came through and it wasn't bitter at all. And they roast all of their beans in house. How neat is that?! Now if you read that last sentence and thought, "geez, what a pretentious clod. This coffeeshop sounds like it's only for high brow nerds that talk fancy about coffee" you don't need to worry about much. The staff here was pleasant and not high-falutin' at all. Now that I know there's a decent shop in the DFW area, I'll probably make more visits here. It's easily the best shop I've seen so far!

I ordered a brown sugar bourbon latte and was not super impressed by the flavors or the coffee. I felt that it was a bit weak, and was not very memorable. The interior of the place was very spacious and there were a lot of seating options, which would be nice for someone who needed to get some work done!

Parks is a cool facility a bit touristy but a fun place to hang out. There's big windows everywhere so you can be nosy and look at all that's going on like the processing of the coffee and the coffee education classes. It's way to busy to get work done here it's best to just hang out and catch up with friends or something. I enjoyed my drink and the lady at the counter was super nice.

Service was good but the coffee is weak! Had a Latte which tasted like a sweet milk. I make better at home.

I was looking for the trending Korean salt bread and this place looked promising. We even planned…read moreto have dinner nearby just so we can have an excuse to stop in this bakery afterwards. The interior is small but cute with a cool 2D design. The original salt bread is clearly the most popular flavor but there's a few additional flavors such a Bischoff, Dubai chocolate, truffle, injeolmi and red bean. They offer a few options for coffee as well as matcha. I also saw the Dubai mochi here as well. The staff warmed up our breads, except for the sweet ones, which was dangerous because now how could you not eat warm buttery bread in the car on the way home? The salt bread was dripping with butter inside and crispy on the outside. It was not overly salty like a pretzel so we very much enjoyed it. However, the truffle one was divine. I almost went back in to get more of that one. I regret not doing it. We tried one sweet one which was the Bischoff which was also very delicious if you like sweet/salty combo like I do. The only thing I didn't find pleasant was the customer service. Very dry greeting and absolutely no warmth. It was later in the evening but not any time close to closing. There were even quite a few people inside and just hanging out. Perhaps they had a long day but it killed the mood a little, which is why we opted to get the bread to go. In any case, the bread is delicious. I can't wait to get more of the truffle salt bread!

When I saw Dallas was finally getting a salt bread bakery I was super excited!…read more I tried Childish Bakery once right after they opened and unfortunately wasnt too impressed with the service but I decided to give them a few months to settle in before trying them again to write a review :") I think their salt bread is okay, not quite like the ones in Korea but it tastes the best when you eat it right after you buy it! Otherwise it gets a bit soggy and not as crispy/buttery and tends to lose flavor when you take it home or let it sit out for too long. The coffee was also pretty watery and bitter when I had it during my first visit ( i believe i got the banana coffee/latte ) so id probably skip their coffee and either try their other drinks which i havent tried, or just get the bread! I stopped by today for the dubai chocolate cookie since we were in the area. It is pretty expensive ($4-5) for one small regular dubai cookie -- but i will say it is quiite yummy so worth if youre craving it!! We also asked if they had the butter tteok/mochi since i saw it advertised on their instagram and they were very confused by my question and slightly rude to us stating they didnt know what that was and bluntly said they didnt have it ( we stopped by around 12:30pm ) so it pretty much turned me off from being interested in buying more stuff not sure if they were sold out or just didnt have it despite advertising it but i was like oh!!! after they bluntly responded to us TT Not a big deal but both visits being subpar makes me think i likely wont be back to this bakery But! If youve never had salt bread and want to try it, I'd still say you should give it a try. :")
