The Classic Avocado Toast was pretty standard--you can definitely taste the lemon zest (a bit much for me personally), and the chili flakes gave it a nice kick. Service: Great! Had the worst toast I've ever paid money to eat at this location. My matcha is always good here but they also didn't fill up my cup all the way which was a little disappointing. The bread was paper thin. barely any avocado spread. the burrata was sparse and they put the burrata liquid that the cheese comes in on the toast? so much that the toast was dripping when I picked it up. Service was fine except the same toast in question sat ready on a side counter for about 5 minutes before a staff member realized it was there and called my name/put it on the pickup counter. It was Sunday, and yes, this place was buzzing with customers eager to get their morning brew to get their days started. Despite the busyness. The staff remained professional and organize. I admire the minimalistic atmosphere of this café. There's lots of outdoor seating. The menu offers a variety of choices from classic coffee and Matcha, to toast, breakfast bites and even kids options. I opted for the chocolate croissant, warmed up, egg bites with turkey, and the strawberry cloud Matcha latte with oat milk. My entire order was pretty delicious. I would definitely return here again. I really enjoy trying La La Land wherever I can find one. Although they all offer the same drinks, same menu, same friendly service, each location offers something slightly different from the others. This Addison location has some beautiful seats outdoors, but the indoor seating is enough for maybe 8 people, so don't come here expecting to find a seat and stay for a while. Each time I've stopped by here I've taken my drink outdoors to sit under the trees and just be still for a moment. I see most people do carryout at this location. The employees are always so friendly and although they are always busy, they don't slack off and get drinks out as quickly as possible. read more

But today was a long day in the office and I needed a pick me up. Well I got my matcha latte and much more. When I entered the Cafe iw was greeted by Noah (if you see a tall guy with awesome eyes , you've found him) nevertheless let's continue this review. We exchanged conversation about our days being busy and he inquired about what I did for a living. We all need motivation and a helping hand. Glad he could make my day better and I hope I made his. It's in a busy area and sometimes the line and the wait can get long so I'd recommend ordering ahead for pick up if possible. There isn't much place to sit, maybe 3 tables with a bar-top section. Lots of sunlight coming in as the entire front is windows. There's a lot more seats outside to sit though if you're looking to hang around for awhile. The drinks are always impeccable and consistent. I love the matcha there and the employees are always helpful in accommodating for different sweetness, ice, or can give great recommendations. They always have different limited edition flavors as well, like other locations, and they've been pretty delicious as well. read more

However, my favorite thing about this place is that I feel very comfortable going there alone. Their drinks and foods are all amazing! I ordered the Banana cream top latte which the intentions of supporting the LA fire relief. However, I did not like banana flavoring. The employee told me that they use fresh bananas rather than artificial banana flavoring which got me curious. After getting the drink and trying it, I actually enjoyed it very much! TLDR: ordered smores holiday drink and was served regular matcha with a graham cracker on top without any notification they were out of ingredients needed. I used to love coming to this location since it's right by my house. In the past, everyone was warm, drink was made correctly, and it came out quickly. The last two times I've visited, I ordered holiday drinks. The first time it took 30 minutes for one drink. The baristas were reading from a paper how to make the holiday drinks. I'm not sure if it was their first day making them or what. It also seemed like the manager was having a meeting with them about the drinks with a room full of customers waiting for their orders???? I would rather them read the recipes than mess it up, but it was just awkward to watch. Today I decided to order online to avoid the 30 minute wait. When I tasted the drink it tasted like regular matcha. I asked about the marshmallows and they said they ran out. I'm sorry??? So I paid extra for a holiday drink and you gave me matcha with a graham cracker on top? And you didn't even plan to tell me before or after I ordered it?? There's just no way that'a how that's supposed to happen. So since it was bland and unsweetened, they offered to add more vanilla. Great now it's sweeter matcha. Then I asked for the sugar cookie syrup because I want a HOLIDAY DRINK. They were out of that also so she put sugar cookie sprinkles on top. There was not one single apology, offer to make something else, or refund offered. Again, there's just no way this is how this situation is supposed to be handled. read more

It was very busy on a Friday morning when my friend and I decided to go. The service was great and the drinks came out in a reasonable amount of time. Drinks were sweet, I forgot to tell them to reduce the sugar, but I did ask for light ice and my drink was made accordingly. Prices are about accurate for the location (aka high, but not exorbitantly so). The only reason that this is not 5 stars is because there was a bin of what appeared to be moldly cheese next to the food and drink prep, near where we picked up our drinks. Regardless of whether it was or was not, please at least hide it where the customers cannot see it because it is not a pleasant sight. However besides that, I had a great experience. read more

They cups are super cute with the heart shaped cup plug The parking here can sometimes be difficult, it gets super busy around meal times. I love their outdoor seating area, which is much bigger than inside. Most of the employees are super nice, well informed, and ready to help. The café is always clean and so is the restroom. I was upset because they didn't have bananas and I was forced to get an avocado toast. Well, not really for us, but there was nothing else on the menu that I wanted to try. I also had to sit outside because there were no outlets inside to charge my computer which kinda sucked because it was very gloomy. The merch is cute, but I was expecting the café to be a lot bigger inside. The avocado toast was very good surprisingly and I like the lemon zest. This location is in a shared plaza with lots of parking. The outside is cute with outdoor seating as you walk up. It is small inside but there is a line to order and then move over to pick up your drinks. They were friendly and quick with filling drink orders.
