Breakfast sandwich, coffee, and side salsas

Safe dine-in during COVID. Food and coffee were great (ask for a different blends of coffee - they can do pour-overs too)! Very reasonable prices. The salsas they give you on the side are super tasty. Hannah provided excellent service and was very nice!

Definitely my hidden gem, located in a building. They mainly serve people in the office, but I love the friendliness, ambiance of this place! My breakfast tacos here.. $2.09 and they're huge! I love it! And they can pretty much custom make any coffee drinks you would like! Mine is the iced white chocolate mocha (skinny), definitely better than the usual Starbucks quality and price!

Discovered this coffee shop when trying to locate coffee near me that I haven't been too yet. I was so confused about where maps was taking me only to find that this place was located inside of an office building that is under some heavy construction inside. I'm sure once it's all done it will look a lot better, but the Gather itself is well put together. We ordered coffee and sat down for maybe 3 mins before the barista came over to us to tell us that they are closing early. I asked her if by early she meant right at that moment and she said yes. She didn't tell us that when we ordered our coffee. It would have been nice for her to be like "hey we are closing early just FYI, so I can do your coffee order but I'm closing up right after." and I would have appreciated that more than her just randomly coming up to us after we sat down and got comfortable. It just seemed strange. I also ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk and there was zero trace of vanilla in it, but the oat milk latte by itself was fine. Love the details of the shop once your turn the corner and see all of the open seating in the back.

Hands-down the friendliest staff in the greater Dallas area!

This place is unassuming and hidden in a office building but the Meat Lover's Hash Bowl is the bomb! Top notch.

The place has a variety of seating, is clean, and isn't too loud. There were a lot of people studying and working. I didn't have the best experience. They had their Fall drinks written on the menu and then after explaining to me what the Johnny cakes latte tastes like, they told me it wasn't available until Tuesday, which was misleading. I tried to order a seasonal peach tea drink, and they told me they were out of it. At this point, I was frustrated and got the golden latte, which tasted awful. It was so ginger-y and not smooth at all. It tasted like the equivalent of a tough-to-get-down juice shot. I ordered a breakfast veggie sandwich, which wasn't bad, but my friend and I both ordered it for dine-in, and for some reason mine came out in a to-go box. This was super odd and there wasn't an apology or anything. The sandwich was okay - the avocados weren't ripe yet and were kind of hard. The brioche was good, but $10 for something I could throw together at home in 5 mins was unimpressive. Overall, I won't be back. Ascension in Frisco has seriously the best service, with an expanded menu, and coming here was so subpar and disappointing.

We arrived starving, and the menu had something to make everyone happy. It was busy, but we were happy to sit at the long communal table (which was entirely empty at the time), so we were seated immediately. It's in a strip mall, so parking is not a worry, and even though the place was hopping, it was clean, welcoming, and we were able to carry on a table conversation without a problem. The scrambled eggs and waffle were particularly good. I usually order fried eggs, but First Watch does an amazing scramble. Servers were attentive and considerate.

We opted in for the fall specials -- the maple bacon croissant and the honey chipotle chicken hash. My Fiance couldn't speak more highly of the croissant. The bacon looked sticky and peppery, and there was a jam on it as well that seemed to enhance the flavor. My hash was so freaking good! Full of flavor, great portion and you can't beat the price. My least favorite part of the meal was ironically the chicken though. Had kind of a weird taste or maybe I just had a bad piece. Idk. I would def return to this location! It was cozy and gave an effortless fall vibe.

Even better right?? Well welcome to Parks Coffee! I've driven past this place so many times on PGBT that I googled them and saw they offered tours. So I immediately booked one and have to say it was well worth the cost. You get to see the behind the scenes and understand more about the process of making coffee. There is even a tour you can request in which you can roast your own bag (details on their website as it may change from when I post this). At the end of the tour you get to try a sampling of their single origin coffees that are paired with bite size pastries from a local bakery, La Casita, that were delicious! The pairings really brought out the notes in the coffee and even I felt like a coffee sommelier! Plus after the tour you get a discount at the coffee shop and it applies to their sweet shirts. Overall I highly recommend checking them out and taking the tour. Their coffees were great and the tour was enlightening.

The business closes in the early afternoon, so aim for a morning visit to get your breakfast on. The inside is on the small side for a breakfast place. It seems to cater most to small gatherings of 2-4 people. We have always been seated right away, but they do have a large entryway where you can stand and wait for a table. Our server was ready with menus and took our drink order right away. My husband was thirsty and emptied his glass in mere seconds. The waiter was too kind. When he returned to refill our glasses, he decided to leave the pitcher of tea at our table so that my husband would have access anytime. He was delighted! Our food came out promptly. I ordered way too much! I got the Monterrey Eggs Benedict served on a jalapeño corn pancake instead of an English muffin. I'm really not fond of the corn pancake as the base for the Benedict, so I plan to ask for a substitution or a different dish next time. I also got a side pancake with fruit. I couldn't eat it all. It was delicious, but it was a lot of food. The dining room has a few TVs that were playing video of natural disasters. I found it disturbing, but like any train wreck, you can't help but rubberneck to see how it turns out. If I could suggest one change, it would be turn these TVs off and uninstall them. If they must keep them, find something more peaceful and relaxing to play on them. We don't go out to eat often, but this breakfast establishment is on our regular rotation of places we frequent.
