My HOA hired Ascent to do the roof replacement throughout my entire community. The roofing job was good and they met expectations. However, they get 5 stars for their customer service/support. Saira was very helpful in addressing my concerns and any issues I had during the project. It rained for multiple days during the project so I was worried about water damage and wanted assurances. Saira was very helpful and followed-up on questions she couldn't answer herself. Furthermore, she worked with me directly to resolve an issue that occurred unrelated to the roof itself and was very quick to respond and support. read more

These guys are fine if you are having them do a new job. If you need any follow up, however, they are incredibly unreliable. They needed to fix some of the work they did on our roof and we have been blown off several times. They say they are coming and don't. Then they set a new time and don't show again. This will happen to you multiple times. We can't move forward forward with any other repairs until they get their work done. And so, I've had to re-schedule other vendors multiple times when Ascent doesn't show. Very unprofessional and don't seem to care about your time or schedule. read more

Thousands of dollars later i will need to call another roofer to address the issues this company left to me. Would not recommend this company as they lied on there invoice regarding wood they claim to have replaced and left my flat roofer with a large area that will pool water when it rains stating that it was there before they started despite the fact that is why they were hired! They then refer to small print in contract that states they don't fix structural issues...they were the lowest bid so it seems you get what you pay for which was lots of nonsense, from debris all over the home( they claim to have called me about putting plastic down inside the home while working on things, a foolish lie as phone records show it was a nonsense story), deceptive about work they claim to do(later correcting the bill and refusing to provide an explanation because it was obvious they were trying to grab more money)and me left with a roof that needs repair, suggesting I call a general contractor to address the area that pools on the roof while all other bids from other roofers said it was an easy fix to level the area...they were lazy, did not want to deal with fixing the issue and I would have gladly paid to fix the area but they are the type of company that wants to take the money and run. At least offer me the opportunity to fix the the problem area instead of rushing through the job and suggesting I hire someone else to fix the area AFTER I spent thousands with them on the same area, in other words redo the roof in the problem area instead of working with me to fix it during the job as I would have gladly paid more to address the area. It seems they wanted to slap the roof on in 2 days, charge me thousands which i will be paying for for years and not get into actually fixing the roof right...take the money and run...lowest bid and I got what I paid for it seems. Find a company that will fix your roof right and not suggest you find someone else to fix your roof after they finish and charge you thousands. read more

My neighbor hired this company and had to kick them off his roof due to their bad installation techniques. He had an independent inspector take a look at their work and the inspector came to the conclusion that the roof needed to be scraped again and done by a licensed contractor. He also told my neighbor that if he reports Alpha they will likely lose their license. They did a horrible job replacing the fascia and plywood. Bad cuts everywhere and then tried to cover things up with wood bondo. They used staples on the underlayment even though the underlayment itself clearly states staples are not to be used. They rushed to try to cover everything up with the roofing after my neighbor questioned what they were doing. They put up shingles and didn't just nail in the nail strip of the shingles. They nailed wherever they felt like it and would never be under warranty due to the poor installation. Please stay away from this company and save yourself the headache. UPDATED REVIEW:Original review still stands...Carlos responded to that review saying their company advises their clients ahead of time when there are issues like plywood being to thin for the required nails... This is a lie in this case...Carlos, Jose, and any of the employees you had out on this roof replacement job never said anything about the plywood being to thin or possible options to alleviate the issue until after your B/C teams completed the initial half assed job of 3 days...your crew punctured the nails all the way through, not just having the nails stick out but splintering the wood underneath where the 100's of nails stuck out....your company only mentioned the thickness of the plywood and the issues that could be caused by it when Jose came out on the 4th of 6 days on a project that was promised in 3 days...to fix everything your crew did wrong... doesn't do any good to say oh yeah your plywood is too thin after you've already stuck the nails all the way through and damaged the wood all the way around the house and garage...I would of been happy to explore any options that would of resulted in a completely smooth finish as a job like this should of been done in the first place, but you guys didn't bother to communicate any concerns with your client...bottom line is your crew didn't even notice how thick the plywood was until they completed the job and noticed they had punctured the nails all the way through. This is why your company gets one star, because you can't even acknowledge what you did wrong let alone apologize for it read more

We had several bids to do our roof. It's a difficult decision because it's a lot of $$ and you want to pick the right one. Ascent was responsive and courteous, and did right by us taking proper care of the old roof. It's from 1952 house and needed some wood replaced. They were good communicators and kept us informed. I have a home that was in dire need of a new roof. I have learned that good reviews do make a difference. I contacted Carlos, and he sent his Father to take a look. I was waiting for funding from an inheritance to come through. I scheduled it to be done the week my funding was supposed to come through. Naturally we were going to get rain. Carlos called me to asked if they could at least take off the existing roof (3 layers in some areas) and put down the under layment to insure no leaks. I reminded him that the funding wouldn't be till the following week, he had no problem with it. His crew arrived promptly at 7 and got to work. The workers were respectful and hardworking. Great Job by Alpha Roofing father and son team! They provided a detailed written competitive proposal for my complete home roof replacement. They had all the proper insurance, licenses, and obtained local city building permit as rerquired. The job was completed in two days and included removing three layers of old shingles and repairing several rafters, replacing all facia boards, multipal sheets of roof plywood, all soffit vents and fixing previous slow roof drainage areas by modifying the slope. Then they installed proper underlayment, new flashings, dripedge, dimensional shingles on house/garage main roof and torch down on the patio roof. They flood tested modified drainage areas to be sure everything worked properly. They guarantee their install workmanship and used quality materials with factory warranty. They had a 7 member crew that worked safely like a well oiled machine. They cleaned up and the job looks great!
