But there are other stores here along with restaurants and coffee shops. Seems like this is more of a place to hang out at to me. They had live music the time I was here. I got lucky and found some street parking, but make sure you feed that meter, the Berkeley meter patrol doesn't play. They are waiting for that meter to expire and they circle this area a lot!!

It's not a big street and there's a limited number of shops, but it's nice to take a quick stroll down. I'll be honest, none of the shops here are really from brands or stores I would normally shop at (lol rich people stores), so we really didn't stop by a lot of them and most of them were closing for the evening anyways (I have learned that lots of things in the Bay Area close quite early). There's some street parking and some parking lots but it looked quite packed. Not sure what it's like on a non-rainy day.

The prices have gone up a bit since the early days, but compared to retail and their standard outlet stores, but the deals are still amazing. This place is the OG. If you allow time for parking and give yourself a solid hour to browse, you're almost guaranteed to walk out with a treasure or two.
