I was busy shopping at the Grand Century Mall for Asian products and my other half sends me a text to come to Mobile Plus, I didn't reply because I didn't need a phone case, was waiting for the one I ordered on Amazon one. hehe. Now I am very grateful, (sorry to my other half) I found a very nice phone case for only $9.99, for my new Iphone 17 plus, also camera protector, and Iphone watch band. The staff was super awesome and nice to even change them for me. What a nice suprise to visit Mobile Plus. Mobile Plus got huge selections of accessories for your electronic device, they get pretty busy! They do repairs also, I think they take phone payments as I saw a customer paying for cell phone bill, and also they sale used unlocked Iphones. Located at the Grand Century Mall, the business is a Gem. I am super happy that I got all of this, at a shop I did not plan on visiting and super cheap too. Fixing my lens alone would've been 20 minutes, but he needed more time to take a look at my son's phone; so for just an hour, I walked through the shopping plaza, sat down for lunch & tea at the nearby Chinese restaurant, sifted through the Vietnamese grocery store-- it was chill. I asked if I could be provided a quote via text or email so I could provide the quote to my insurance for approval and they said yes I'll text it to you...I did not receive any text. The next day Jan. 24th I went in person and apparently he remembered my device and said he sent me a text I mentioned I did not receive anything. He took my name and phone number and stated I'll send you a text with the quote in 15 minutes. Yet again I have not received any quote so I'm unable to provide my insurance with it and continue my claim. The repair cost would have been paid out of my pocket and I would have been reimbursed. They would not have to deal with my insurance so I'm not sure why they lied to me twice and didn't want to provide a quote. Oh well taking my business elsewhere.

I found Amax a couple of months ago and was buying display assemblies from them. They sell LCDs for…read moreiPhones and iPad digitizer at a very aggressive wholesale price to repair shops, of which I am one. When the displays work, they are decent. However, I began to notice high failure rates that seemed to run through entire batches. While trying to find a few good LCDs, I sat at their front desk and tested around 20 displays and only found one that was satisfactory. That one soon died completely. Today, I had a customer who needed a camera/sensor flex cable for her iPhone 6. I purchased four of these parts from them and everyone of them had a bad ambient light sensor. Before returning to their store I called to find out if I could return these bad parts and test the replacements. I was told on the phone that I could, but when I got to the store, I was told many different things: 1. Come back Monday 2. If four are bad they are probably all bad 3. The girl who told you to come here to test them never told us 4. The girl you spoke to is no longer with the company 5. No, I still work here but now I am a manager 6. No, she doesn't work here. And so much more... It only got more bizarre from there. It was a surreal and unpleasant experience. I just wanted someone to either let me test new parts or refund my money. Finally, after an eternity, they refunded my money. I don't know what to make of all that happened, but it's clear to me that this company is very disorganized and full of childish drama that does not lend itself well to doing business. On top of operations and customer service problems, part quality is also an issue in an unpredictable way. Given the number of suppliers both on and off shore, doing business with Amax seems like an unnecessary risk to your time, money and mental health.
