I had my engagement party at Ashirwad Palace. The venue was perfect for our special day! We loved working with Sankalp & Manish. They both were wonderful and very helpful with answering our questions, responding to emails, and forwarding us along to other vendors. On the day, he made sure everything went well and helped us coordinate everything. He made me feel like family and all my guests fell in love with the place and food. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the party. One thing that stood out to me was that he catered to the needs of every single guest. Couple of guests were Jain (they do not eat onions and garlic), and he had separate food made for them and had it delivered to their table. I definitely recommend having Methi mutter malai and Palak kofta as entree. I am still receiving calls from my guests about how good it was. I still remember the day we went for food tasting to decide the menu. Sankalp spent good 2 hours with my family while we were tasting the food. He was calm and listened to our needs and then made his recommendations. We had a special request for one of the entree and he was able to make it happen. The new building is excellent with lot of parking space. The interior decoration is gorgeous. You don't need any extra decoration. And the food was excellent, and it is worth for what we paid. I had a Groupon for this place and was a little hesitant to go because it borders on Dover, a town known more for it's crime than it's culinary delights. Luckily, this establishment was well out of the danger zone and had plenty of onsite parking so didn't have to drive around looking for that perfect spot. When we first walked in we were greeted by a very friendly host and we were extremely impressed with the laid back contemporary decor. We started with the peppered shrimp app and were delighted to be informed by the waiter that we could customize almost anything on the menu. Our app came out promptly and our entrees followed soon after. The peppered shrimp was delicious and rivaled several of the more well known places in the area. Our entrees were no different and throughout the meal my girlfriend and I couldn't help but to continually mention how great the service an atmosphere was. All in all, I couldn't be happier. We had personalized service who was attentive, but not overwhelming, great food which rivals some of the more well known places in the area and a great atmosphere for date night with the wife or girlfriend. We are already planning our second visit and I encourage everyone to give Ashirwad Palace a chance. You won't be disappointed. read more

I am hesitant to post this review, because quite honestly my wife and I enjoy the fact that we often have basically had this great place to ourselves for dinner over the past several months, but really we love it- Sam & Marcel are great hosts & bar area (the only place we've been to) is very nice, has a great lounge feel to it. They make great drinks, and more importantly GREAT food. We often take our family & friends here when they come and visit, and the consensus is always very very good. read more

I just had my daughter's 18th birthday here and despite the short notice, they were able to accommodate us with the perfect room that was elegant and cozy. They serve fusion style cuisine that was very delicious. I was able to request both Italian and Spanish cuisine for my buffet which they added a hint of Indian flavor. I especially appreciated that they took the time to provide us a taste test of their cuisine before I finalized the booking. The service provided during the party was wonderful. I had my wedding here on 9/3/16. My family and I had such an amazing experience from beginning to end at Ashirwaad Palace. Sam and his family were beyond accommodating, helpful, courteous and so much more! They respect all of the traditions that are required to fully complete a Guyanese-Hindu wedding. We are so happy that we selected this venue and honestly it was an easy choice as soon as we were greeted and welcomed by Sam for the very first time. The entire process was perfect because Sam ensured that everything went smoothly. He's so good at what he does because he didn't make it just about the business(like many venues do), he made it about my family. He put our needs first and was always kind and patient about any requests or inquires we had. His brother and Dad were amazing and helpful as well. The staff was very helpful. The food was beyond delicious! There was such a variety of all types of food we especially enjoyed the Indian dishes. The garden at the venue was simply beautiful and worked out perfectly for our photo shoot after the ceremony. The banquet rooms and parking lot was large enough to hold my huge family and everyone had a great time! Just had my son's first birthday party at Ashwirad Palace for about 140 people. The owner and staff were extremely helpful, accommodating and the food was excellent. They were very flexible (i.e. allowed us to swap out some of the food for some kid friendly pasta and chicken fingers). There was room for a jumpy house and the kids had a large area to run around and play games. In addition, they worked with the outside vendors (chocolate fondue, bakery, balloons, entertainers, etc.) with respect to delivery and setup. Their sound system was great and easy to play music from and everyone had a great time. This was one of the easiest parties I have ever hosted. I would definitely plan another event here. I had my sisters sweet sixteen there and honestly speaking it was the exceptional. Sam and Manish were great, they helped me out tremendously.The food to the entertainment was the best. I hired a company called Dj Karan entertainment for my entertainment group. They helped me plan the entire party out with the songs to the fun(games, dancing, lighting and to a photo booth. They know what they are doing and they were very professional. They have great prices and their entertainers are absolutely amazing. They played games with the crowed and made the family and friends dance all night long. I would definitely recommend them for anyones upcoming event. We had our wedding at this Venue this year and the service was great. The owner takes really good care of you and makes sure everything is done. My wife and I are very pleased. When we went for our food tasting, the food was amazing. Although we didn't get to eat much during the time of our wedding, we plan to go back and have an amazing meal there. Recently we organized Valentines day party.. half of the crowd did not get food. He closed buffet by 10.15 pm by 10.30 pm everything closed. No soft drinks, food as if he was waiting for us leave. I dont recommend this restaurant to organize parties. Food also not sufficient. There is not sufficient koftas only gravy is there. Highly disappointed with the service.
