They can't play around the camp spot because of the thistle without long pants and boots. We had the lake to ourselves this morning which was nice. We kayaked, didn't swim. The water slides are open Monday, Thursday, Fri-Sun, June-Sept. Pay for it. It's well worth it. The line moves quick and the kids had a great time. The snack bar has treats. Heads up, cash only. Great playground too when it's not in the 90°s.

If you're looking for a great family camping spot, this is NOT a good one.

It cost about $85 but it was well worth it. The river running through the campground is lovely and they have Adirondack chairs spaced out along it so you can sit and enjoy. It is off the highway about 6 miles so there is no noise from the freeway just the sound of the river. Very clean and dog/pet friendly. The owners are helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We were a bit worried by the road there (lots of fair sized holes) and the weather (California was experiencing a bad heat wave, and it was 105 here), and considered only staying one of our two nights. So so glad we stayed both nights. The wild horses were hanging out the whole time, and much of it in front of our trailer. I'm sure the heat drove them down to the river and tasty lawn. We also saw the blue heron, bats, and two river otters! Baby bird above the men's bathroom. Lots to see and enjoy. This place is pristine and quiet. We'd just come from a gross Thousand Trails and a loud state park. Coming here with the clean (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms and showers was lovely. The hosts were so nice. And it just felt quiet and relaxing, only punctuated by territorial stallions making a fuss. Nice additions are the giant shaded area with picnics tables and Adirondack chairs to hang out in- our space didn't have a tree so the shaded option was much appreciated. This is a way away from us, but we hope to come back and spend more time here. Also- shoutout to the hosts who spend a lot of time cleaning up horse poop to keep the roads clean for us!

The new park directors Michelle and Steven are on site full time and they are just wonderful! They are experts at their jobs and treated our family with so much respect. They care for the park and the residents within. I give them the highest compliments and hope future residents feel comfortable checking this park out. They have began updating the park with brand new 50 amp breakers at each site. There is full hook ups and a small laundry facility that takes quarters. There is overflow parking at the park if you own two vehicles. They allow pets. The park was quiet and clean which was nice for our family. There are older low reviews for this park which worries me but those old managers and owners are no longer there and the new directors Michelle and Steven are doing an incredible job on improving the park. I do recommend this park for anyone interested in full time Rv-Ing!

This is definitely not an "RV ghetto", and the monthly prices are the lowest of any in the area. New RV spaces are being added on the west side of the park at this time and the shower/laundry building is scheduled to be remodeled, probably in 2016. The RV sites are occupied mostly by long termers, but without the usual junky appearance of a lot of long term RV parks. There is a little traffic noise from the busy intersection of the 238 and West Main Street, but nothing like those parks located right off a freeway. I highly recommend Cobblestone for anyone who wants to enjoy a clean, safe, friendly RV park in Medford.

Emigrant Lake County Park, Ashland, OR - July 23, 2025…read more I've probably driven past this park 20 times over the years. You can actually see it from Highway 5 as you're driving north coming down the grade into Ashland. We made reservations a few months in advance. It looked like a neat place to stay with some water to play in and maybe do some fishing. We arrived at about 2 PM on Tuesday. We knew which site we had from the reservation we made online, but we were a little confused figuring out where we were supposed to drive to. There is a self registration kiosk as you drive into the park for day use patrons. Campers are directed to drive into the campground and then check with the Camp Host. So that's what we did. Once we made it to the RV part of the park, we drove to the site that we knew we had and had no trouble getting set up. We had a full hook up site, which was nice to have since it was over 90° during the daytime while we were there, and it was nice to be able to have electrical for our air conditioning. I checked in with the camp host to see if there was any further requirements on our part, but the host wasn't there. I called the number that was listed on the door, but there was no answer on the phone. I wasn't quite sure how to get a registration for my car that we were towing, but decided just to put the printout of the registration in the front of my car's window in case park Ranger was checking. We had a spot right at the lake's edge. It was about a 100 foot walk down to the lake from our camp spot. There was a bushwhacked trail that went down through the star tthistle weeds, so it wasn't too bad on me walking to the lake; however, I would not have wanted to take my dog down there without carrying her. The mornings at the lake are fairly calm and peaceful. As the afternoon wears on, every day we were there got pretty windy. I fished two days while I was there in the morning and had some decent luck with both bass and Crappie. I tried numerous spinners and finally landed on a gray rooster tail with a black skirt that the fish seemed to like. The campground is well maintained. The sites have a picnic table and fire pit. They do have bathrooms and showers which we didn't use. Really the only two complaints I had about the park where the Russian Star thistle stickers, a little bit of poison oak along some of the trails, and the afternoon wind. The lake does get a few power boats typically in the afternoon, so if that kind of noise bothers you, you might not like it. It didn't bother me a bit.
