No employee on property. No after hours packet information on what site to occupy. Sat around front office for an hour before being provided with a phone number to call to get information by a previous guest. Was then assigned a campsite. Bathrooms and showers in disarray. Apparently they don't get cleaned on Monday's when closed with NO toilet paper in 2 of them. I have been RVing for a long time and have never come across this a campground closed during normal business hours. And the topper, Spa closed for maintenance. Last time I was here I enjoyed it. Maybe under New management, that needs training. Will not return.

They were really busy when we arrived and we were seated about 10-15 minutes late, but we were not in a hurry. We got a table by the windows and had a beautiful view of the water. Our waitress was very sweet and did a great job making sure we had everything we needed. The food was good- buffet style- 2 types of turkey, prime rib, ham, twice baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, Mac-n-cheese, shrimp, stuffed mushrooms, Brussels sprouts etc. All the food was warm/hot well stocked and buffet area was well maintained. The desserts had a lot of great options including the pumpkin pie which was delicious. I would recommend checking out Lake of the Woods. We have also been there in the summer months and parked the boat on the dock to run in for popsicles and refreshments. Great place to hang out as a family.

She was ridiculous, telling me there were no window tanked available, when I had a reservation AND waited per her instructions. It ruined my husband's birthday. The host there was rude and condescending when we just wanted the table we reserved and waited for. Wish I had gotten her name, but we just left pissed off. You know what? Maybe don't put a child there? With no manners. It's not the first time it's happened to us either. It's a bad look for LOW and it ruined my husband's birthday for no reason. She told us 10 to 20 minutes. Then she was pissed that we wanted the table we reserved. Were are disappointed because we are locals who go there all the time. What utter bullshit. That host cost you money. I hope you at least talk to the person. She has a bad attitude and we did not. I guess she was freaked out because it was busy? Whatever it was, she was inappropriate and ruined our day. Will start going to Harriman's or the Running Y. They are decent and respectful to people. Christ! Do something. Thank you!

It cost about $85 but it was well worth it. The river running through the campground is lovely and they have Adirondack chairs spaced out along it so you can sit and enjoy. It is off the highway about 6 miles so there is no noise from the freeway just the sound of the river. Very clean and dog/pet friendly. The owners are helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

We were a bit worried by the road there (lots of fair sized holes) and the weather (California was experiencing a bad heat wave, and it was 105 here), and considered only staying one of our two nights. So so glad we stayed both nights. The wild horses were hanging out the whole time, and much of it in front of our trailer. I'm sure the heat drove them down to the river and tasty lawn. We also saw the blue heron, bats, and two river otters! Baby bird above the men's bathroom. Lots to see and enjoy. This place is pristine and quiet. We'd just come from a gross Thousand Trails and a loud state park. Coming here with the clean (and air conditioned!!) bathrooms and showers was lovely. The hosts were so nice. And it just felt quiet and relaxing, only punctuated by territorial stallions making a fuss. Nice additions are the giant shaded area with picnics tables and Adirondack chairs to hang out in- our space didn't have a tree so the shaded option was much appreciated. This is a way away from us, but we hope to come back and spend more time here. Also- shoutout to the hosts who spend a lot of time cleaning up horse poop to keep the roads clean for us!

Our most recent state was 19 months in one of the spaces,next to the,woods. Lots of deer and other wildlife. Our issues from the beginning were one neighbor was 5 feet into our space. No visible water hook up so we,had to run our hose into next spot over. Sewer hook up not at the back of our rv. Management did not address any of these issues. After 19 months they decided to do something. Their solution for part of the issues,was to make us move our rv over a few feet. Anyone knows who has moved one knows it takes the same prep work to move 5 feet as it does 500 miles. We moved completely out. We got tired of the not getting things done, telling us our on l y concern would be to move our water hose. (Not sure,where to though.) The bathrooms and laundry room are not kept clean. It is very popular because it is inexpensive but the only thing they provide is water and sewer. You pay for your own garbage service. Also there is no more overnight stays.

There are many attractions to see if you want a day trip. Medicine Lake, Glass Mtn and Lava Beds are just a few. You are one hour from Klamath Falls Oregon. Jessie is on the grounds daily. We went into Skull cave and Valentine cane and they were so cool! Be sure to gas up and bring all the food/water you need, as the next town is always away! They have a playground which is great' lots of chairs and tables for eating. I liked hearing all the wind chimes on the windy day. We went to explore Dry lake - but it's indeed dry. Only a 4 star since the little store wasn't stacked. Old reviews mentioned it had once been stocked with ice cream and that would have been amazing!!! Locals said to check out Medicine lake, but we didn't have enough gas. Next time! We would stay again.

The owner, Pam, bought the place 8 years ago and has been steadily making improvements. There are ten cabins, ranging from no bathroom to full bath and kitchen, each decorated individually. And oh so clean. I am here on their first day of the season. A sheer fluke-I've been on the road for three months and decided to check it out to see if there were any campsites open. It's Memorial Weekend so I was fortunate, indeed. The sites are all pull through. Level. Have electric, water, and dump stations for those with bigger rigs. The bath house is clean. Two showers, two toilets on the women's side. I think the men have the same configuration. It's quiet. I'm listening to doves, robins, and wrens while I write. I watched two pair of hawks sail by earlier so its aptly named. There's a playground for children. A safe fire pit. And a cleaning station for those who fish and hunt. They are open until just after hunting season in November, then close due to snow. Nice place. If there was reliable internet, I'd give five stars. But really, between the stars, birds, trees, and fresh air, who needs internet?
