    Cold brew

I love stopping in when in the area! Their cold brew is sooooo good and they constantly have seasonal drink options. Even when the line is long they move quickly so you are never waiting too long. If you are just popping in for a coffee they do have a separate line to speed things up.

A lovely little coffee shop. Parking very easy in the lot. Came here after a run and it was a lovely little treat. The inside is very cozy with a decent amount of seating and was able to hang out inside for a little. Workers were nice with quick service. I ordered a hot chocolate and a chocolate croissant. The croissant was good but not as flakey as a regular croissant. Prices okay around $10 for both. Overall really nice and would come back!

#26 in my NEW ENGLAND & NY COFFEE SHOP SERIES Cute, cozy cafe! Every time I come on Yelp, I always see this place as one of the top promoted ones. I finally decided to stop in on a Monday afternoon after clinical. They have roughly 8 tables, small bar seating, and a little couch area for people to converse, study, or work. They also have an area to buy coffee maker item, merch, and coffee beans. Great outdoor seating as well as friendly service. Nothing too standoutish, just good. For my drink, I got the seasonal cherry mocha. It was good, but very subtle on the cherry, mocha, and espresso. Overall, I would not get the drink again, probably try something else. I would come here again to study but only if I was in the area. I would not go out of my way to come here.

Touring through CT and ended up at Ashlawn looking for some coffee. This is a neat spot. Cozy location, with coffee, pastry, and souvenir like items. Got a good latte to continue our journey, and a nice CT Home cup to remember this little outing. Stop by when you're in the area and leave with the same good experience we did.

This is the coziest coffee shop I've ever been to! We stopped on our way to Rhode Island & it was packed, the line was to the door. But it gave you time to admire the shop & decide on what items you're interested in. This place gave me log cabin vibes in the best way. We ordered two bacon egg & cheeses on a croissant as well as Joel's breakfast latte & an iced vanilla latte. It came out relatively quick despite how busy this place was. The food was good & the drinks were amazing! Very excited to come back!

Needed a pick me up coffee , and stop by this coffee shop as it had good reviews ! The inside was clean and spacious , the bathroom was clean! The lady took our orders she was very nice and friendly ! I got an ice chai latte ; it was around $5 which seemed fair . They definitely put a lot of ice in though which I hate but it is what it is unfortunately. They do have baked goods and a variety of drinks ! Definitely a cute coffee shop !

The vibeeeee? Gorgeous. I would totally come here and do some laptop work or homework. Is it so perfect. And these drinks were so delicious. We also got a cannoli type of cookie which we ate before we got a picture of it. But wow!!! Delicious. And the girl taking out order was so kind, patient, and good with her recommendations

Coffee shop has a bunch of fun seasonal lattes and syrups if you're a sweet coffee fan like myself!! I tried the maple berry latte in the summer when I was there and loved it. Also their apple fritter was delicious and their cinnamon roll is solid too!

Anytime you are in Old Saybrook, Ashlawn Farm Coffee is the best option for a good cup of coffee, quick breakfast or treat. It's located in the plaza with the train station. The cafe is normally busy, but always cozy and friendly. They have a lot of drink options--using their freshly roasted coffee that you can purchase bags to bring home. From frappes, lattes, to cappuccinos, they are using the best coffee. For the tea lovers, I highly recommend their Chai Tea Latte or Dirty Chai. That is my usual order, but today I tried a few of their seasonal specials: Charcoal Frappe and Toasted Marshmallow Latte. The Charcoal Frappe was delicious as it was mixed with flavors of cocoa and coconut. The Toasted Marshmallow Latte tasted like a warm s'mores with graham cracker on top. I also got a tasty Tomato, Cheddar and Chive Quiche. It was eggy, cheesy and the tomato made it so good. The crust was perfectly flaky. Bought a Apple Pie Scone for home that was covered with caramel. I always enjoy coming to Ashlawn Farms Coffee. It's a grab place to meet with a friend, cozy up with a book or work remotely.

One of my new favorite coffee spots! It was pretty busy on a Tuesday morning but service was wonderful. I ordered the iced lavender mocha which was so yummy! I also got the Asiago bagel with the chive cream cheese. Overall, very affordable for a coffee spot! Lots of seating inside, and even a toy area for kids.

Went with a friend and parking lot is huge. There are other business right in the plaza but we were easily able to find parking right in front of the shop. They had outdoor seating and a line out the door! as soon as you walk in there is coffee sold in bulk / shirts / merchandise like custom cups. The bacon egg and cheese was great. The maple berry latte turned blue instantly but it was a good coffee. Love their ice.

This is the spot where you can get a nice cuppa coffee and window shop. Man, I can window shop with the best of them! Walking inside I see I have the place to myself. I look to the left wall and see the various coffee bags. Once I'm at the register, I order a cappuccino. While waiting for my drink, a young dad walks in with his two sons. The sons run up to the counter and they scream, blackouts! ? The woman behind the counter takes out the most delicious looking doughnuts. She grabs two doughnut for the kids and wraps them up. Man those doughnuts look incredible! I was tempted to buy one but instead I chill. I walk over to the various coffee beans on display and buy a bag of espresso beans. I have a Moke pot at home, its time for me to dust it off and make some espresso. I make espresso pretty good, my grandparents had it down to a science. Georgio's Coffee Roaster, it was a pleasure to visit your store. Welcome to Stony Brook!

I really do take far too many photos, but it's helpful because then I remember there are spots I may have forgotten to write up like Macchiato Espresso Bar. I visited this cute Mattituck location back in late August and the results were pretty tasty. You see my wife and I were looking for some coffee and a place that's different than what we've often found on the North Fork and so MEB popped up as an option. Not a ton of reviews were posted, but from the ones on Yelp (and dare I say Google too) made it seem worthy of stopping. The worthiness is definitely there because Macchiato has a nice array of coffee options as well as pastries and more elaborate edibles (sandwiches, salads, etc.). You can find everything on their menus though you won't find too much else inside as the place is definitely small. A couple of tables, some fridge drinks and pre-maid foods, and an area of swag and other items is the entirety of the interior so don't expect any true cozy feels. But hey, you can't drink cozy (well maybe in the Fall/Winter), and so let's turn our attention back to the name of this place and focus on coffee. I went with an iced latte with vanilla while my wife tried the iced chocolate (as it was written on the menu). For me, I liked mine. Nothing negative to necessarily say about it as it had a good coffee kick, but when my wife felt like hers was a little too heavy in the bitter bang before the chocolate took over, I decided for us to switch drinks as I thought the iced chocolate was delightful (I do like my coffee a little stronger). Before finishing up, I do want to mention that we were a bit hungry and so one of the chocolate croissants in the display case made its way into our possession. The funny interaction my wife had with the friendly staff member ("Is that a chocolate croissant?" "You know it is!") added to our excitement and oh did it pay off as it tasted delicious. Overall, Macchiato Espresso Bar had a lot to like. Perhaps they're a little small, but they pack some good coffee and pastry/food choices in an area that really doesn't have a ton of options. I'd definitely return another time when out east and in search of my morning cup of joe along with a desire for a bite to eat. And with that I can now post some very belated pics with this review so the CMs stay off my back!
