Purchased a $1000 mattress here and within a few days of laying on it I didn't like it and called thinking you have a week or 10-day guarantee of trying it out because 60 seconds of testing in a store isn't realistic - but they wouldn't take it back! My husband and I bought two living room sets (one for a den and one for a sitting room), a couple extra chairs and a TV stand. We got phenominal customer service from every person we interacted with in the store. Every single person was friendly, helpful, and was able to answer all of our questions. We love our furniture and are very pleased with our purchases. The only thing we've been unhappy about is the warranty. We asked about specific damage being covered, and we were told that pet damage is covered. We adopted a puppy who nibbled on some of our furniture. When we called to have repairs made, we were referred to an outside vendor, Ashley doesn't do the repairs themselves (we hadn't been told that). When we contacted the vendor, they told us only some pet damage was covered. So if my dog peed all over the couch that would be covered, but because she chewed the arm that was not covered. That was very disappointing because we had been led to believe we were covered. We could have saved that warranty money and then used it to hire a reupholsterer that Ashley won't provide. read more

This store is amazing. We have gone twice now to buy furniture and both experiences were great. First time they offered us a credit card deal that wasn't even being promoted. Then the second time we got a gift card for being repeat customers! Shout out to Anthony Owens, he is amazing. My boyfriend and I were having issues with the delivery and warehouse departments and Anthony took it upon himself to clear it up and our experience with Ashley great again. The sales rep straight up lied to us about the price of a TV stand and discount that was going on in the store. They "price compared" to other products and told us that $299 was the best price. Once I bought everything, I was looking at my receipt, I noticed the 30% discount wasn't applied to that purchase. So I went online to Ashley.com to see if it was supposed to apply and there was the same TV stand for $220 - ON THEIR OWN WEBSITE!! Good products... corrupt sales people. Taking back the below review. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY ENTIRE LIFE. Do not buy from this store. Delivery was terrible and is still an on-going process. Delayed furniture, lying customer service reps, huge run-arounds, damaged furniture (literally every piece I bought), and horrible communication. I cannot wait for this nightmare to be over, thank you Ashley for ruining my Holidays and not allowing for me to have family over. DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU. We ended up buying a whole dining room set, sectional, coffee table, and entertainment center. We got great financing and an awesome deal on clearance chairs for the dining table. Very pleased with the sales experience at this store. We shopped around a few different stores in the area, and ended up going with the sectional we found here. We need something that can stand up to our kids, pets, and husband ( who sits in one spot on the furniture always and always wears that spot out!)The salesman who worked with us was really great, very informative without being overly pushy or overselling at all. The selection of furniture to be found here was also quite good, well constructed, and nice looking. About a year ago, I shopped for furniture. This was one of the places I looked. I liked their selection, but didn't decide on anything, as I found some items in other stores I preferred. I would like to say, though, that I'm a little disappointed that I wasn't able to do business with them. The people were friendly and helpful, and they offered me an admittedly generous discount on some purchases I was considering. When I need furniture again, I'll definitely keep them in mind. They have a WIDE variety of styles (from traditional, country styles to plastic-looking post modern furniture). I'd recommend people take a look. In the beginning we thought Ashley Furniture was wonderful. Our Sales Associate Robbie was very helpful. The order took about 4 weeks to arrive. They forgot items on the order and were not helpful in locating them once the delivery got to our home. We stopped in one evening to pickup the forgotten chair. The lady at the front desk was HORRIBLE. So extremely rude. We asked to have the chair brought out but she refused and said it was to be between 10 - 5 pm. It was one single chair. The next day upon arriving between these times, the store manager came out to apologize. He agreed that the lady at the front should have given us this chair as there was no issues in doing that whatsoever. The final item to be delivered was a large white dresser and we paid extra for the mirror. We get a call t3 1/2 weeks later to let us know it was in and getting delivered at 7:45 AM the next day.... on a Saturday. WTH? And of course in Ashley Furniture standards they forgot the mirror that goes with the dresser that we paid for. UNREAL. This place is horrible. I highly suggest Raymour and will never purchase another item from Ashley Furniture again. read more

I did not end up purchasing anything from here as the price was out of my range but the experience was extravagant and exciting! As with most furniture stores, there is always a salesman ready to greet you when you walk in which happened to me but he was very helpful and even offered to lead me to the entertainment centers, which I was looking for. The furniture is nicely set up and displayed pristinely and with such class that made me sort of smile. There is a great selection of furniture and décor which can either lead you to making a sale if you can afford it, unlike me. read more

Let me first state the reason as to why I gave a furniture store 5 stars. It was mostly due to the salesperson, Alex who helped us buy two beds with no pressure. He made the sales experience fun and was knowledgable about the products. There was a lot of different products to choose from that seemed like quality items (I have not had mattresses long enough to comment on overall quality). I should note that our expirations going into the store were probably why we found the experience so pleasant. We thought it would be the normal sales experience where you first get bum rushed at the front door, then one sales person stalks you all around the store while trying to look inconspicuous hiding behind plants. Awful customer service and misleading promotions. We ordered a sectional on November 28th. It took until March 16th for them to say that it was in and ready for delivery. I scheduled the delivery for a Saturday. Within 24 hours I received an automated message stating that my order will be delivered on Wednesday which I was not available on. I call and they informed me this is the only date they had close. Eager to get a couch we have been waiting on for months I accepted. Come to find out this was a PARTIAL delivery. Upset but still thinking it was better than our old couch we took the half a couch hoping the other piece would be in soon. It has now been another 2 months with no word on when the final piece will be coming. Come to find out, with accepting the partial delivery you have to pay for an incomplete product with no ablity to return it because it was accepted into our house. Customer service has been not helpful and outright rude at some points. In essence we got screwed and are now the not so proud owners of half of a couch with no word on when/if the other piece will come in. We have been waiting for almost 5 months. read more

I ordered a coffee table on 6/1/19 and it still has not come. It has been delayed twice and no one from the store called me to tell me it was being delayed, i had to call myself to find out why the table wasn't here yet. I have ordered thousands of dollars from this company and every time the delivery or pick up is a nightmare because they blame the manufacturer. Let me start by saying that in the store, the service was ok. I purchased 2 power sofas... It was recommended by the sales associate that I purchase the "additional warranty" which would cover me for 5 years against any problems with the power reclining, stains, etc... The salesperson told me that it would only take about 30 days from the time I place any claims, for the furniture to be repaired and that the repair company they use is the absolute best. LIES. I have been trying to get one of the power sofas fixed for almost a year now. I've had the sofas for about 2 years now, after the first year one of the sofas power reclining stopped working... I put in a claim, and they sent a tech out 3 weeks later. He said he needed to order a part and would call me back to set up a date to come back out.... 3 months later I STILL had not received a call, so I called them back. I was told that they use different companies to service the repairs and they stopped using the initial company that had come out - and my part had NEVER been ordered... Fantastic... So they ordered the part and said they'd call me back with a service date... A week later I get a call to set up a service date that is almost 2 months out. Fine, I'll take it... Service guy comes out and says that the part they ordered is not going to fix the problem and he thinks that it is an electrical problem inside the sofa. They'll need to come back to re-evaluate the problem... Set up a new service date for a month later... Get a phone call that they are having trouble with their trucks a week before that service date was to take place - and I was told it would need to be rescheduled for ANOTHER month out... At this point it has been 8 months since my initial claim... The day before my appointment, I get a phone call that they will be arriving between 1 and 4 pm to put the part on that had been ordered... THEY'VE ALREADY DONE THAT AND IT DIDN'T WORK!!! (They were referring to the power cord, which had already been replaced and determined to not be the problem) - so I tell the lady on the phone this... She says "Oh that was by a different company that we use, not sure how it slipped by us... We will have to schedule a DIFFERENT appointment for you" - and that one is about a month and a half out... I called the customer care center for Ashley Furniture and was given the run around that they can do absolutely nothing on their end - it is completely up to the warranty company as to when/if my furniture ever gets repaired. The customer care lady was extremely rude - never once apologized for any inconvenience... I spent nearly $600 on a warranty that is probably the WORST warranty I have ever tried to use in my entire life. LONG STORY SHORT - SAVE YOUR MONEY - DON'T BUY "QUALITY" FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE THAT WILL BREAK DOWN IN A YEAR (Each sofa was around $1200)- & DON'T PURCHASE THE WARRANTY THAT IS PRETTY MUCH INVALID!!! Delivery guys John and Andy arrived an hour early with ten minutes warning, I had to be out my house to bring my kids to school. Then they were unwilling to try to bring a piece of furniture around a corner and show me that the physics would not allow for clearance when it looked obvious to me that it would fit, even though I had signed a damage waiver. 2 years ago we picked out living room/ bedroom set for our new apartment and had nothing but a great experience. 3 weeks ago we went into the store to pick out a new mattress, box spring and a few pillows. The sales women we had was BARBARA KARDOS-BROWN. She was very pushy and inconsistent with the discounts she could give us. At first she said she could finance all the items at 36 months. Then told us no and it would be 24 months. After calling her out she went to "talk to her manager to see what she could do". Of coarse we got approved for the 36 months. But this isn't the worst part of this experience....Barbara told us in the store that delivery for mattresses were quicker than furniture and it would be 7-10 business days. When I went to call (11/23/19) to set up the delivery the lady told me the soonest was December 30th. That's over a month. She also stated that she didn't understand why Barbara would tell us 7-10 business days when it's really 14-23. Anyways, I scheduled the date for dec 6th after telling her that the 30th is too far away. I took off of work on the 6th to be there for the time frame of the delivery. After no one showed, I called the delivery people. That morning we brought our bed to the curb which was then sitting out in the snow so that way the delivery people didn't have to worry about moving our old bed. I called and the lady on the phone gave such bad customer service saying "do u just want to cancel the order now?!" Not caring about them losing a sale or about an unhappy customer. I then asked to speak to a manager of the delivery. The manger called me back, did not apologize, was also very rude and did not care about giving great customer service. I finally was able to get a delivery date of this Thursday dec 12th after all of that. All of that said, we will not be purchasing from Ashley's in the future due to the lack of customer service. Horrible . Table leaf was delivered warped causing the glass on two corners to stick up above Table! They claim it's my fault for using glass cleaner on the glass only..Dont bother with the warranty. All the employees are wonderful but the quality of furniture is terrible, at least the tables are. My first dining table was defective. They replaced it with a different one that I chose but had to pay for delivery again. I love the style of the table but it was delivered with lots of scratches and knicks but I decided to just let it go. Now after having it a few weeks it looks terrible covered with scratches. I still have a warranty on this one so I have been trying to call all day but the number is not working. Either way I still have to spend a couple hundred to put a glass on top to save the table from more scratches. read more

DO NOT BUY AN ASHLEY MATTRESS!!!! We purchased a couch, love seat and a king sized mattress in February of 2016. Less than 3 years later, the mattress is sunken in the areas that we sleep to the point it was giving me incredibly bad back pain. We spent $1000+ tax + $200 for a protection plan so that we wouldn't need to worry if the furniture became defective for any reason. When I called, it took over 3 weeks for a technician to come out to inspect it. Then he showed up an hour and a half early when I wasn't home. According to a family member home at the time, he measured the depression a foot from the edge of the bed, precisely where we do NOT sleep in order for Ashley not to have to replace the mattress. The technician told me over the phone it measured just under 1.5 inches. When I got home, I measured 1.75 inches in the place where we slept which is more than the 1.5 inches needed to qualify for a replacement. The service person refused to send someone else out and refused to accept our pictures. It was just, "too bad, call back in 30 days and we will send someone else out." We had to purchase a new mattress right away because I was unable to sleep on the ASHLEY one anymore. THE PRODUCT IS GARBAGE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVEN WORSE. read more

My husband and I bought an entire bedroom set, mattress, and sectional couch from Ashley in less than a year's time, spending a nice chunk of change. I could go into extensive detail, but in the interest of people staying tune, I'll shorten it up... we have a problem with our mattress, which is seemingly stemming from an unsupportive bed frame (told to us by a couple of handymen and 2 technicians that Ashley sent to our house). Our warranty is unfortunately void as we moved. This move, however, has NOTHING to do with the fact that the bed frame came with side rights that aren't big enough to support a king bed and only 3 stays, when there really should be more. We are left to sleep on a bed and frame that is beginning to sag after just over a year, and the feeling that we are in a boat ready to capsize anytime we simply rollover in our sleep. It's sad and disgusting to me that this problem could likely be alleviated with a couple of inexpensive parts (for such a big company), but instead they would rather dig their heels in. If you are furniture shopping, don't shop at Ashley, instead, spend your money at a company who continues to care about their customer after making their buck. read more

Had checked out many other furniture stores with very dissatisfying results in customer service and quality of their products. The prices at Ashley's in my opinion beat out everyone else when you add the factor of the quality. This experience the sales person didn't have to help us. We walked in looked around and found a dresser that we wanted simple. And when we told the sales lady about our couch situation she just kinda blew it off and said HUH.But We would not buy any living room furniture from them again. We had trouble with the same 2 sections maybe around only 6 months of having it. We purchased the extra protection plan on our sectional couch and had service come over 3 times to repair the same problems. Then come to find out the service person wrote us off saying it was our fault the problems we kept having were our fault. We don't even have any kids around to jump on them. The padding inside the couch kept slipping the recliner broke. Their furniture looks good but they sure don't stand be-hide the items they sell. Very unsatisfied. read more

I purchased a sofa in January 2016 and in 3 months the stuffing in the couch was caving in. Called to get it repaired, received a box of stuffing and waited to have repair man fix the couch. Unfortunately I had to reschedule that appointment and have been getting the run around. I paid $1200 for a sofa that needed extra stuffing after 3 months. The sales people are helpful with no pressure while wondering in the store. BUT don't expect service after the sale. The recliner purchased less than 2 years ago broke a second time and cannot be repaired again. The repair lasted less than 2 months. Also the loveseat cushions are flat. The living room suite of furniture I purchased is of moderate quality. I purposely purchased furniture made in the US but I could have spend less at IKEA and gotten better quality. on 1/18/16 i went to ASHLEY to look for a head board Brian was my salesman he took me around the store and also showed me some from their furniture books until i found the one plus he helped me pick out bedroom furniture to go with the head board was not at all pushy let me take the time to make my mind up on getting both head board and the bedroom furniture he was very awesome to have as a salesman treated me very well ! also the store manager was there and was so awesome very friendly i even got a hug from him i love Ashley Furniture !! read more
