You get asked a few questions about your energy and what you want to focus on and then for acupuncture, they'll check your energy levels. After inserting the needles in, they leave you to it. No music or meditation or chants. Just you, and the car horns outside. I think that's where I'm a little disappointed. Other places I've been either give you one of the two and check in on you. I was just sorta left for I'm assuming was 30 minutes? There's no clocks so I lost track of time. Next few times I came, I was prepared to do some meditation on my own and really focus on my thoughts, breathing and healing. I have pretty decent insurance and so it only came out to about 20 bucks per session and at that price, it goes from a 3 star review to a 4 star. But without that, I could easily rate this a 3 star place. I'll be coming back for sure though. Every where else seems to have a wait list or they aren't as nice. Everyone is super nice. You wont find anyone not happy to be there.

My husband and I are going through IVF and I went to Dr. Lee for support for fertility while we start our first transfer. She walks you through what she is doing and explains each of her findings. When she found a tough spot, she let me feel it too so I could better understand what she was talking about. She explained which system corresponded to each area we worked on. The AcuSuccess office is so relaxing. The lighting isn't too bright and there was quiet instrumental music playing. Dr. Lee and her assistant were both so so nice and welcoming. I also really liked how clean everything was. All the needles are packaged, she swabbed each spot and opened a new needle package for each stick. Finally, I am actually pretty squeamish about needles and I barely felt the pokes. Overall, 10/10! This was a wonderful first experience of acupuncture. I came in first to help flip my breech baby at 34 weeks and she flipped at 36 weeks with the encouragement of acupuncture! She stayed in the cephalic position but I continued acupuncture and on the week of my due date at 39+4 days I did a labor promoting session with Dr. Merritt. At 39+6 just 36 hours later, my labor started and had my baby on her due date! I was surprised because it was my first baby and I was preparing to go past my due date. My labor was easy and quick! I am so grateful for the care I got, whether I was going to go into labor naturally at 39+4 or if it was the acupuncture that got things started, coming every week the last stretch of my pregnancy really helped my nervous system and encouraged much needed rest before giving birth.
