When I arrived, there were two people waiting for their favorites Wendy and Erica... and when it was my turn, the owner told me that I had lucked out, that Jesse ended up being available and they had made sure I would see her. I did 75 minutes reflexology and added on tiger balm on my neck to help with my headache. It helped so much! I really appreciate Jesse. She is especially good on feet and legs. Grateful for this place and for their consideration in managing to get me in with my favorite!

While I knew the doctor personally before making my appointment, and received the professional treatment from her that I had expected, I was surprised at the level of stress relief I experienced during and after treatment at the relaxing setting provided in the Point Del Mar office. When I came in the other day for an appt. @ 9:45 am they brought me in around 9:55 am got me set up and stated that she would be back in 15 mins, but she did not give me a hand buzzer to ask for help. As time went on I felt as though 15 mins. had passed, but I'm laying face down and I have no concept of time. So I continued to wait and tried to count to keep track of time - when I got to about 15 mins in my head; I decided to start knocking on the walls to get someone's attention as lifting was a bit painful with the needles still in my back and legs. She came in very apologetic and quickly rubbed my back with oil and then my legs, then promptly left. I was in a bit of a rush because I had no idea how much time had passed and I had a therapy appt. @ 11 am and I thought surely an hour had not passed. When she left the room, I checked my phone and it was now 10:53 am and I needed to leave to try to make my appt. which is luckily online. So I was left in the room for an hour with no way to call for assistance. Then the receptionist took too long to accept my payment when I was trying to leave - asking me to submit a review for a gift; when I was trying to make my appt. on time. I declined the gift and rescheduling and made my co-pay. I ended up having to do my therapy appt. in my car in the parking lot next over. Overall, this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Although they were apologetic and kind, I will not be coming back.
