On sale it was $1600, and we had some extra cash so we went for it. To say my expectations were exceeded is an understatement. This is the most beautifully crafted piece of furniture I've ever laid eyes on. We were in awe of the gear structure for the leaf insertion. The finish is just stunning - a soft satin, and it is smoother than anything I've ever felt. My husband assembled it in 20 minutes - he just had to attach the feet to the base and the top to the pedestal. When raised, you can barely see the seam for the leaves. This will be an heirloom piece that will hopefully stay in our family for years. When I had questions, my emails were replied to quickly. The delivery team was great and we even had a personal cell phone to contact them during delivery. It is also very satisfying to support hand-crafted furniture made in the USA. I know this price point is not available to everybody, but if you can - I would highly recommend them.

The finished product was as smooth as velvet. My friends were so impressed! I am currently choosing everything for a new coffee table and end tables. Prior to the service plan expiring, the motor died on my unit. I called customer services and have been waiting 3 months for replacement parts. First, they called telling me they gave the part to another customer. Then, I had to wait 1.5 months to be rescheduled. THEN, the only time the technicians could come to my home was when I was busy at work. Today I tried to reschedule and was told there are no techs that cover Rochester and I would have to wait for them to hire someone before my furniture could be fixed.

When we went to pick it up we had a trailer and the people in the warehouse were about to load it when a manager came up to stop them until we had made "final payment arrangements"! I went up front and paid everything up and as I left to see to the loading I was not even thanked for my purchase...unbelieveable! The warehouse people finished loading and when we got home I noticed a mar on the top of one of the pieces. Since nothing had been loaded on top of the piece it had to have occured before our picking it up. In calling back to the store I was told that that this was not their responsibility and in trying to determine if there was anything to be done had the person hang the phone up on me. I consequently sent a letter and explained everything and it was not answered. Obviously this is a store that does not value customers that highly.

It has been well over a decade since I last visited it. I broke that streak recently when I returned to my old neighbourhood. I did a pitstop here from Eden Prairie. I then did a quick browse around the store. This store still has a Starbucks, which is likely where my love for the cafe started. A number of us back in the day (we were coincidentally all Canadians living here, employed by the same company) would often come here to get a drink and browse around Target afterwards. The women's washroom was clean. I don't recall ever using it before, so that was cool. The clothing section still makes me happy. It's bright and organized well. I did a brief tour of the produce section. It still looks the same as I had remembered it. Veggies look fresh. Fruits look yummy. No complaints on my end! The checkout area seems to have grown. I could be wrong. I don't remember so many cashiers! It was nice to reminisce. Rochester now has two Target stores. This one is in the north part of the city, which is five minutes away from where I used to live. (13)

I do have to admit when it arrived the scratch and dent is much more extensive than originally described. The handles are scratched in multiple places and there are several small dents along both sides of the refrigerator, most of which are against the cabinet side and won't show. I am waiting on new handles to arrive, but so far it has been handled quickly and efficiently. I can't say enough good about the delivery team that arrived and helped today. I would give them 5 stars! They went above and beyond as our house has funny doorways and corners, and it wasn't easy to maneuver. Still under warranty, but they won't come and repair it. After many calls all we get is the run around. Our claim is " being reviewed" by the repair dept. Don't REVIEW IT- come and fix the damn machine. So while we wait and wait we have to pay to go to a laundry mat. So done with them and their terrible customer service. When you spend over a $1000 on a washer it should work more than 12 months, and if it breaks should be repaired quickly.
