There are no better therapists than Lindsey and her assistant Jillian to put you on the road to recovery. It's hard work to get your muscles working the right way. Lindsey develops the correct program and Jillian makes sure I do the exercises correctly. To be corrected and doing the exercises correctly, is very important to me. I always joke around, that I don't want to be mediocre, but exceptional, and Lindsey and Jillian make sure I achieve my goals. After a little more than 3 months of therapy, I'm 90% recovered, now it's up to me to continue to exercises at home. I can highly recommend Foothills Physical Therapy. Each time I saw him he asked me specifically how bad my pain was, where was it hurting, what activity was making it worse or better. I didn't just want to be healed, I wanted to know everything about my injury. I asked him a bazillion questions and he patiently and fully answered them all, and clearly enjoyed talking about his profession. He is an experienced professional and knows exactly what he is doing. I am virtually pain free now and he provided me with the knowledge and tools (exercises) to get me fully healed, in time. It appeared that all the therapists there are just as kind, caring and qualified as Jake. They all focused carefully on each of their patients like doting parents. The rest of staff there were wonderful as well (especially Keaton). They are all friendly, kind, caring and full of smiles. They genuinely love what they do, and it showed every time I went. I especially liked the way the entire team there works together. They have great choreography and chemistry, and make each visit there as comfortable and relaxing as they can. While my Physical Therapist was personally very kind and attentive, I would only work with her for about 10-15 minutes per session and was then passed on to the assistants who were NOT attentive. They would give me my exercises to complete but rather than staying and ensuring I was doing them correctly would run to another patient and work with them, and then I would be sitting there for several minutes inbetween exercises waiting for the assistant to come back. I came three weeks in a row and every week was like this-the facility just seemed like they had too many patients scheduled at once and not enough employees to properly take care of all the patients. As someone who has done physical therapy at several facilities over the years I was disappointed in my care and would not recommend coming here. I gave it a two because I liked my physical therapist but if it wasn't for her I would give this facility a one.

Matt not only teaches others with calmness and complete focus, he treats his patients the same, totally focused on providing the best care for each individual and is extremely calm which radiates confidence to the patient. After getting two treatments from another PT place, I was referred by a friend to Matt at Foothills and I'm extremely grateful Matt squeezed me in to help me with my shoulder injury, doctors wanted to do surgery but Matt suggested PT along with dry needles/deep tissue massage and it's worked out AMAZING. Talk about night and day difference between PT places, I'd definitely return if I had another injury. The care here from Matt and others is top notch. The facility is clean and orderly, up to date machines and every kind of item needed for exercises for any injury. The tech was always working with multiple patients at a time. Another time, I was doing my exercise and I looked over and the tech was getting work done on herself by another therapist. Do yourself a favor and google search for a therapist who works on one patient at a time. And the front office staff is rude and inefficient.

Enter Farnsworth Physical Therapy--the closest clinic to my home and, as fate would have it, the closest thing to a miracle I've ever experienced in the medical world. I arrived with dread in my heart and pain in my bones. Exercise? While injured? Surrounded by gym dudes? Dudes. In a gym. I braced myself for discomfort, awkwardness, and indifference. My husband has been going to Farnsworth and has seen some progress so I decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. I have only been twice but I can now walk without any extreme pain. I still have a bit of pain but I'm definitely improving. Dr Farnsworth is very professional and explains things very clearly, so I can understand them. The staff is friendly and easy to work with. I was under the impression when I registered online for info the first visit was covered or that insurance would cover some portion of the visit... Well... no not exactly. Really shocked and surprised by this. Misleading. Didn't realize the first visit was a "therapy" visit and not an initial consultation to enroll me into therapy. I did call my insurance provider and they stated no claim was made to insurance and will be disputing. I would just be careful with this place.

They will teach you the necessary exercises and observe you doing them. However, if you are relying on insurance, check with your insurance company to make sure they will pay the significant cost per visit or you will be stuck like me, thinking my $40 copay was sufficient, being asked for an additional $51 per visit 5 weeks in. Now that was a surprise and a hit to my finances. $91 per visit...with insurance. ‍

As they were preparing to move, the less than helpful chunky guy up front along with his "interesting" frat girl or sorority sister to their new location, it was evident that Mr. Personality and Ms. Hot Mess were in way over their heads! The first time I showed up to meet with my therapist, they were confused and out of sorts. From phone calls going unanswered to what I later discovered were completely unreturned to a bit of an over the top effeminate voice using more S's than a snake, espousing that calls were returned and he/it could prove it while others in the background contradicted her, we knew it was time to take my business elsewhere! Not worth the drama! And of course, the business owner couldn't be bothered trying to save a customer as they truly cannot deal with people expecting to be treated fairly and with dignity. Lying in any way is reprehensible, but the types of lies the front desk staff attempted were so pathetic, they had to be called out here. When anyone is truly ignorant enough to state that they called you (without simply putting 2 + 2 together, realizing that every call is captured) and you can show them that in fact no call was made from them or received by you, it kind of deflates the case fairly quickly. How about just a simple apiology? Well...I'm glad they didn't tell the truth or have the owner return my call. I found a much more credible therapist with nicer facilities and far less crowding. It's a shame as CeCe, Anthony and some other therapists seemed like great people with solid futures. Then again, it won't be difficult to find a place with better leadership and a more caring and competent staff.
