The Wife and I just finished a remodel of our home and she wanted new furniture. We loaded up the family and picked out a huge sectional, two chairs and a coffee table the has two lids that Fold up for storage. " The table lid started warping in the first couple of weeks. The warp was 2 1/2 inches on the corners. We called and they sent out a guy to access the situation. Guy was nice and informative. He told me he recommended new tops and had them ordered. Couple of months go by and they are delivered and a worker comes and installed them. But they were also warped as well. Guy said they would order new ones and got a call saying there is nothing else they are going to do to fix the problem. Even though it's under warranty they are not going to fix a flawed piece of furniture and we are stuck with it. That's there words. read more

I'll give one star because I have too. Our whole experience sucked. We should have listened to our families advice and avoided Ashley's. We went 5/26/22 to order a bed for our son. When we arrived we had to hunt down a sales person to help us because everyone was sitting around on their phones just hanging out. Finally someone asked Mathew to come help us out. Matthew was very nice and it was a quick transaction and we were told we would get our bed 6/7/22. Which was perfect because that was our move in date to our new place. Well 6/7/22 came around and no word. So by 7:30 that night I was calling to see where the bed was. Turns out the 6/7 date wasn't the delivery date, it was the shipping date which come to find out.. it didn't ship that day. So we waited. 6/21/22 no word on the bed so we decided to go into Ashley's and cancel the order. They took 100 off and said we would receive it in 7 business days. Todays 6/28/22.. we called again and it hasn't shipped yet again! And when it does ship.. it goes to the warehouse here in bakersfied and then I guess ships again to our actual place Soo even longer. We cancelled the order and ordered a new bed from target that will be here in a couple days. Save yourself the time & wasted energy. read more

Christine needs to find another job. We all have bad days however she was flat out rude and completely walked away from my parents whe went to the store to purchase a love seat instead of online. Christine told them a higher price than online, said they had to pay for shipping (online says it is free), and said they HAD to purchase a warranty with the furniture - for an additional price of course. Recently bought a very expensive Purple mattress. Online there is a 100-day trial with full return if not satisfied. I specifically asked my salesperson if it was returnable to Ashley, and was told yes. The mattress unfortunately did not work for me. I tried to return it, and NO RETURNS, period. First of all, I could have even MORE EASILY ordered it online, where I would have had a guaranteed trial, plus FREE delivery (not the case with Ashley). I wanted to support my local business. I paid MORE for it at my local store than it would have cost me online. It makes no sense to support a local store if it means great financial risk. Ashley will not get my future business. I bought a dinning room table and all 6 chairs , with a bedroom set. One chair the leg broke off. One the bed the side rail broke off. I did buy the warranty but neither Ashely's or the warranty company will honor it. Talk about crappy customer service and cheap crappy furniture. I don't recommend buying here. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY ASHLEY HOMESTORE PRODUCTS! THEY DO NOT STAND BY THE PRODUCTS THEY SELL AND YOU GET STUCK WITH INFERIOR PRODUCTS! My wife and I purchased almost our entire home furniture for our new house from Ashley HomeStore spending quite a bit of money there. After we took delivery of our couches/sofas we had problems with the motor for the reclining portion of one end of the couch. They ordered the part then later returned to fix it. We also noticed that the cushions started showing premature wear and deforming. We called and they again sent a technician to investigate. The Tech told us that they were an inferior cushion and he ordered replacements. When they arrived, the Tech came and replaced them and within a few months we noticed that these replacement cushions were worst than the originals. They sent another Tech who inspected them and told me that they were defective and he would contact his manager who would make a decision on what to do. The next day I receive a call from a "manager" at Ashley who said there was nothing they could do as it was the way they were designed and they only replaced the originals as a courtesy. I was not happy with that response and told her that their response is unacceptable and will take it from here. This morning I received another call from another manager who told me that she spoke to the previous days manager and she also told me that there was nothing they would do as the wear was normal. The cushions only lasted about 2 months before they started showing the defects and we have only had these couches for about 9 months total! If this system would allow me to give them ZERO stars, I would. read more

Terrible service. I came in asking for a bed and the gentleman said we don't have that in store and it's low quality. He continued to say that he would not buy that bed. What made my husband and I laugh is that he recommended a different bed made of the same material as the "low quality" bed I asked for. Almost all of their beds are made from "engineered wood," meaning they're not solid wood. The bed he was recommending was well over 2,000 dollars. Had the guy listened to what I wanted he could have ordered it online and had a quick sale. Since I didn't plan on financing, he didn't spend more than an minute of his time. read more

Just a word of advice. Much of the furniture at Ashley home store should be THOROUGHLY inspected before signing off upon delivery. Our delivery person did not review the functioning of our sofa and chairs and did not insure that it was functioning before leaving. YOU MUST DO THIS YOURSELF - review all functions with the delivery person before you sign off. It is likely that something will not work properly - for us, one of the chairs we bought would not recline - OH YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK, too bad "you signed off on the delivery." I expected that since we called the store immediately after we discovered the problem (may 10 minutes after the delivery), we might get a replacement that works. NOPE. Just be aware. read more

Then after waiting an hour with an online customer service agent. Just to hear that they couldn't do anything about it.
