Stay as far away from Ashley Furniture as possible....Worst experience ever. It took me 3 months, 7 emails and 3 phone calls to finally be told that they no longer honor warranty's on furniture if it has been moved from the original delivery location,, and that I could pay $150 to have a tech come out and look at the broken frame and see if could be repaired and an additional cost. Seriously, never going back to that store or any Ashley store again. It's not even worth the 1 star that I had to give them. read more

Horrible horrible customer service. We were scammed into a warranty for our couch. The salesmen promised it would cover any dog damage and any type of fluid damage. We had a flood in our house and the couch was destroyed by the water and our dogs chewing on it. Called the warranty company, who then brought out a tiny bissel vaccum to clean only the tops of the cusions removing no water from the couch. Now it smells moldy. Called them back to fix the problem and now they say they dont cover that kind of damage and we need to talk to ashley. Ashley told us they will not do anything for us and the employee that sold us the warranty no longer works there, so it's not their responsibility. Do not fall for the warranty scam like we did. We spent a lot of money on our couch and the warranty and now its all gone. Ashley should be completely ashamed of themselves for allowing their employees to run scams like this. This company is trash. Thanks for nothing. read more

Furnitures are beautiful. However their services is just horrendous. I brought some furniture at Ashley store at NJ, which I had a good experience with. However, I had a complete opposite experience here at Rosedale store. First of all, NO one in the store knows how to set up the furniture delivery or who to contact. Store manager has promised a call back, which I am not very optimistic about. All I learned from this recent purchases, I will look for somewhere else first. read more

Dealing with Ashley furniture has been such a hassle this time around. I ordered my sofa before Christmas and expected to have it there for a big family Christmas. It is now January 26 and I'm still waiting. I was told that it could take up to 5 weeks and I'm 7 weeks in now and paying for a sofa that still hasn't made to my house yet. I was even called again and told that the estimated delivery is sometime in February, but I could not get an exact date. I was lied to constantly by so many of their stores leading up to this purchase and should have listened to my better judgment. The very least, I should be able to buy the floor model at a discounted price at this point. Don't believe anything they tell you. It really hurts to even put 1 star on here. read more

Omg the worst experience ever. As soon as I walk through the door walked to the right of the store towards the dining set.  I felt someone following me. I turned around and there it was a women(sales associate) standing behind me. She asked me did I need any help. In return I  told her I was just browsing. She preceeded to ask me three more times.  Still following me. REALLY. I turn to with angry and told her NO. As I was walking towards the exit another sales associate stop me as me the same question I told him the same thing. He was even more persistent than the first sales. He wanted to explain to the pricing system and that everything was on sale and that today was the last day. I turn to him and I can careless. This place is the worst. We bought a living room set from them. After a couple months. The straps that hold the Ottoman cushions broke. They only had two staples holding the straps. Cheaply made straps. We called them because we purchased the extended warranty. They now say thats a manufacturer problem. They said they would help get it replaced. As if they were doing me a favor. You represent the manufacturer that sold me this junk. But you will help me. Well its over 2 months later and no help. I would stay far away from this place. They sell junk . Update: they sent out a repair tech to fix the ottoman. He came with a little staple gun put about 100 staples in the bottom. Flips over the ottoman and its still just as bad. So he tells me its a defective piece and he will put in for a replacement. So i call the office 3 times since he left. They keep telling me someone will be in touch. Still nothing. This place is a complete joke. With the furniture business having more than a 50% mark up. You would think they would be able to stand by their merchandise. I had been a customer of Ashley because I like their furniture. Looks are deceiving. On the outside it looks great, but look further. I purchased the Cassimore king size canopy set. Bed, nightstands, dresser with mirror, high dresser, bench, and the vanity and chair. Also the king size extra firm mattress. First week I found a split in the beam of the headboard, next the king extra firm mattress began to sag. It took repeated calls and 8 months to exchange the beam. 9 months to send someone out to look and measure the sag of the mattress.They wouldn't rectify a less than a year purchase of an extra firm king mattress. Clearly it is sagging, even the tech they sent out confirmed it. It folded up when he took it off the bed. Ashley said it is not a manufacturer's defect. So they are saying it's my fault the mattress is sagging. I am 6 feet tall and I weigh 238lbs. I won't do business with them again. They have lost a valuable customer. I advise you to spend your money for furniture somewhere else. Try Lazy-boy furniture that is where I am going. read more

I went to the Rosedale location to look for some lamps to go with my bedroom set. I was greeted upon entering the showroom. He allowed me to browse the store without following me around and when I was ready, I found him. I was able to find some great lamps and haggled a great deal. Wonderful experience. I would give it zero stars if Yelp would let me! Terrible store, do not buy furniture from Ashley or Regency furniture. My new reclining sofa broke after 30 days of use. I am now 4 weeks later and still have a broken unusable sofa. Customer service is non-existent and they do not stand behind their products. The customer service rep from the store wouldn't even provide me with the store managers name so I could speak with them. I asked for a refund or replacement, was told it was against store policy and I would just have to wait for the 30 day old sofa to be repaired. As a Manager of a business, I am more than dissapointed at the way my family has been treated. We purchased bedroom furniture for my daughter and have been treated horribly from tje time our damaged furniture arrived at our house. 3 times they have attempted to deliver our furniture, and 3 times they brought the damaged product. We have left message after message for management to call, and we have not received anything. Every peice of furniture by another company has delivered a quality product. My husband and I went to the store to see the 6 piece living room set we saw online for a good price. The guy Victor came to help us and showed us a 10 piece rectangle table wood dining room set, he said he could give us for $840. We asked how much would the dining room set be with taxes, delivery, and the 5 yr warranty and Victor said $1090. I told Victor we would be back to pay the full price on the whole dining room set and I just needed to move the money from my savings to my checking at an ATM because my cell phone is not working properly. When we came back to the store Victor told me his computer is not showing the 10 piece rectangle table dining room set and he could give us a 6 piece round table wood dining set for $1025. I was angry and felt like he lied to us the whole time. I told Victor we really looked forward to getting that dining set. My husband was angry and walk off. Victor said his computer is showing something different than the other computer on the floor. He tried to show me but I could not see what he was talking about. We left the store deciding to look somewhere else. I called and spoke to the Manager Jim, explained what happen. The manager Jim took my name and phone number and said he'll call me back. I purchased a furniture peice that is supposededly sorinella king upholstered bed frame and Tempur-Pedic mattress together . This bed frame that I picked didnot have any other color as I discovered now but during my store visit the sales person said they had and send me the norrister which is no problem . However , this bed frame had a base on which the boxes sit higher than the one we picked . So made the bed really high and I was not able to tell why . I liked the way it looked so I tried days to see if it's comfy but I felt it was way too high then we saw in the store . Also the mattress seemed a bit too hard . I went back to see my option on how I can be happy with my purchase and work things out and out my concerns . Then I realize the product seen on the store and placed for order weren't same . The sales man had also told me since it's Tempur-Pedic they had amazing return and exchange policy and 90 day free try out time and if i don't feel comfortable I can exchange or return without questions asked and no charge . Now as I go and talk to manger I would be paying 300 dollars more to exchange and another 300 to but low profile boxes . So I ll pay 600 more dollars . They even told me it was my fault to sign the delivery and also wait for 30 days to come back while they told me I had 90 days to try out . Also sold me the wrong item with diff specifications. Please don't purchase from here or put everything the sales man says in writing and make the manager sign it and video tape the conversation or whatever because I overheard the other sales person going through the same pitch to other customers about 90 day trial free return or exchange if u don't like it . read more

After reading various reviews I was a bit skeptical about purchasing furniture from Ashley Furniture, period. We went in to browse their selection and got a lot of information. I did not feel pressure to purchase anything right away and our rep did a fabulous job making sure we had all the information we needed to make a great decision. The only negative thing I can think of about this store was that my husband and I could not be alone for 5 minutes to discuss our decisions and thoughts. It was like as soon as a rep saw that we were alone they ran over and asked if they could help us. Bought an expensive sectional from the Rosedale store. Our salesman was fine and actually the sales people working there were helpful and nice. First issue is: their delivery people!!!! I was soooo angry and frustrated as I sat home ALL DAY this past Saturday. Received the day before, the call & text of delivery between 11-3pm. Well, 3:03 pm rolls around, I call the store and - the delivery people call me back - which was appreciated - and apologized for their "routing error". Whoops! I was bumped to the 1-5pm slot. While this may not seem like a big deal to some - it's a very big deal!!! I'm angry!!!! 6:00pm rolls around and my blood is boiling sitting around all day waiting! New carpet, new paint - we're sooo happy and excited to get our furniture as - again - I've been sitting around all day waiting - on the floor I might add!! Second issue: I call the manager, Brittney, who by the way, was really not very passionately helpful - is all I can say!!! You are the manager - You can make things happen to make the customer happy!!!!! Nope. She really didn't. Never heard from them again. 6:40 pm my sectional finally arrived. The guys that delivered it - as it wasn't necessarily their fault - we're nice and did a good job trying to appease my anger. Does not matter though. Never again Ashley, never again!!! Bottom line: while mistakes happen, that's fine - but do something to make the customer happy and not - nothing!!!! Done with Ashley. read more

We had the best experience at Ashley's yesterday, thanks to Joel Robonowski (I misplaced his business card, so I hope I spelled his name correctly). He was awesome. Patient! Knowledgeable! and Very Helpful! My mother and I went to Ashley's without a clue as to what we wanted or how much it would cost. Joel listened to our needs and helped us find every item. He gave us options and made us feel very comfortable with our final decision. He even took the time to make sure our final checkout was handled properly and explained our bill. Joel even took the extra step to make sure we had our box spring before our bed was delivered, so it could be assembled immediately. If you need furniture, Joel is the guy to see! The store is a joke ! I purchased several pieces of furniture for my parents senior apt . I decided to pick up furniture instead of waiting for the delivery . I went to the warehouse and sat for hours for the warehouse people to bring to bay doors along with 6 other people who were all as unhappy. 1 experience the 2nd thing I have a problem with is that I bought tables for the living room to sum of $550 I was told approx a week and was fine with that ordered on the 6 th of June on the 14th I got a call that they would be there the 27th a delay !! So on the 15th I went to cancel my order , my parents wanted tables and sent me elsewhere ... Ashley than says your tables arrived today so I need to pay restock fee of $ 54 dollars .. I explained that I got a call just yesterday to tell me of delay and manager was like oh well !! He suggested that I call corporate office also a joke to get $54 dollar refund but was told nothing they can do !! Do yourself a big justice and stay away from Ashley furniture. Seriously beware of companies that can't even put real selling prices on furniture it a oh no that's not what you play it's 50% off that price !! I am so upset with Ashley Furniture Store. I recently purchased a standard living room sofa, two end tables, and a dinette set. After five weeks the furniture was delivered. The moving men could not get the sofa through the door and told me that they had to take it back. I was upset and disappointed as I had not expected to have a problem. When I moved to the apartment a triple dresser and a queen size bed and mattress went through the door. The men said that I just had to go to the store and pick out another sofa. At no time was I told that there would be a 30% return fee. I went to the store and found a smaller sofa and when I went to take care of the paperwork I was told then about the return fee and that I would also have to pay $150.00 for delivery. Needless to say I was upset so the assistant manager gave me the phone number for corporate headquarters. When I first called the woman said that she had to call me back after she spoke with a supervisor but she never called me back. I called the next day and finally talked to a supervisor who said in effect that's our policy. I tried to explain that I did not just cancel the order but had to do so because the men couldn't get it in the apartment. I had liked the sofa and had no idea that it wouldn't fit through the door. Had I known that this would cost me another $300.00 for return and delivery fees, I would have insisted that a supervisor come out and see if three people could lift and wiggle the sofa into the room. I only hope that this new sofa will come through the door easily. I can't afford to lose another 30%. Besides the sofa problem I have an end table that rocks. The one leg is about a half inch too short. This should have been seen and taken care of before it left the warehouse. Instead they are ordering a new leg and someone will come and fix it. Hopefully that will be done correctly and soon. My rating reflects the fact that I feel like I was dealt with unfairly and that they are not customer friendly read more

My wife and I purchased a sectional sofa and other furniture in the Rosedale, MD store on Pulaski Highway in late 2018. We were initially very pleased with our purchase, as the salesperson was attentive, and helped us find pieces that would work well in our house, with additional flexibility from the sectional. We were told about their outstanding furniture cleaning warranty service, which we decided to purchase, in light of our having two small children. We were told all types of stains would be cleaned, so we could keep our furniture as lovely as the day we bought it. In the first year after purchase, we used this service and were happy when they came promptly to clean some stains very effectively. Unfortunately, we ran into a problem more recently with similar stains, that has left me very dissatisfied. I was asked to provide the specific dates our stains occurred, and I totally guessed at a date (not having put it on my calendar) that turned out to be 37 days earlier. I then learned the company has a strict 30 day time limit to report stains (which nobody had told us about), after which they refuse to do any cleaning. So now they will not do any future cleaning of our sectional sofa, until we first invest in a deep cleaning of the entire set. I was very sorry to have our good purchase experience spoiled by this disappointing series of events, which will impact where we shop in the future. read more

I was thinking about getting a new bed but wasn't quite sure if I was ready or not, I was walking around the store looking lost and then I met the salesmen Jordan Owens!!! he showed the different type of bed and ending up showing me the bed I actually bought. I am a very finicky person and I ask tons of questions, I even left the store twice because I was trying to decided om the bed I bought and another bed at another store. On my 3 time showing up at the store on the same day (smh)I actually bought the bed. Paid cash for a 3 piece sofa 3 months ago. 2 pieces delivered a month late with no follow up or follow through, just a guessing game and a total headache. Particularly given they NEVER answer their phone. (I have a screenshot of 23 calls in one day before someone answered). And the 2 pieces I have, are already not holding up. Third piece, been MIA. Again, no follow up or follow through after several missed delivery dates. And it's not covid even though they'll say that it is. The bed I ordered? Delivered with missing parts. Refused delivery and took 2 more weeks for them to remanufacture the bed. I paid for what again? I've disputed upon dispute, spent several hours over weeks worth of phone calls, gotten nowhere with corporate because they're useless, been lied to by the store manager regarding a refund she promised and I keep reading story after story of customers saying all the same thing. I've picketed the store and plan to again. Anything to keep people from making the same mistake I did. Go elsewhere! read more

Ashley Furniture is the worst. The company falsely offers you a warranty and does not stand by it. I purchased a 7 piece Family Room Sectional (SKU #50301SECT) from the company on January 15, 2018. The furniture was not delivered until two months later. I am beyond frustrating trying to get the Rae Corner Chase fixed. The wood is hanging off of the bottom of the chair, it is causing the chair to lay lop-sided. There is a huge dent in the black leather part of the arm rest (likely because it is poorly configurated and supported by what seems to be cardboard). The zipper on the console broke two weeks after delivery. I called costumer service and was told that's not apart of the warranty. I then went to the store where I purchased the set (Whitemarsh Location: 8823 Pulaski Hwy, Baltimore, MD, 21237) and the store manager gave me the run-around and refused to help. I have been trying to have my furniture fixed for months. When you call the costumer service department they ask for you to send pictures, 48 hours later they will schedule you an appointment where a technician came out a month later (good service right? Reiterating after they get your money they do not care about their product or your satisfaction). The technician came out and re-took pictures, closed my case and fixed nothing. I called and they want me to repeat this tedious process. I asked when the furniture would be fixed on replaced and they refused to give me an answer or explain the process. Today I spoke with Hannah (phone number 443-730-9007), a costumer service manager, who laughably told me if this was her chair she would be fine with someone fixing it, although my issues are not "fixable". I do not recommend anyone support or purchase anything from this company. All it is over-priced furniture that can be found in the warehouses of other cheaper companies. Will never support them again. Save yourself the time, headache and poor quality merchandise. read more
