Do not trust this store, I have been just scammed. As expected Ashley again sent me a damaged and defective dining room set. This is 2nd time I see the damaged set. First on 28th May they have brought Rencott dining set which was damaged, immediately I have asked them to take it back and bring in a new set. I have dropped a review regarding the same. But to my surprise I have got a reply from the store owner stating that I have placed an order for a clearance item and they do have different policies for delivering clearance items, I was shocked to see that review. Nowhere I have placed an order for a clearance item. I HAVE ORDERED A BRAND NEW RENCOTT EXTENDABLE DINING ROOM SET WITH 8 CHAIRS AND A BENCH. Today it's 7th June and they bought a dining table set which was again damaged and ripped off set. Same mistake was repeated twice. Our valuable time, money and patience went in vain. We just feel like we got cheated. We clearly know the difference between a brand new item and a floor piece or clearance items. I have spent $2000 on this table set. Why do I need to accept an apology for the mistake which we were nowhere part of and the same mistake which was repeated twice. Ms Katrina contacted us and she stated saying on a courtesy note we can again exchange with new item. What if the new product does go beyond and above $2000. Lesson learned: Ashley HomeStore makes sofas that are not anticipated to have a frame that lasts more than 365 days. If you have frame issues after ONE YEAR you have to pay for repairs out of pocket even with the best warranty. We called and asked them to make repairs to the frame for a couch we purchased for about $1000 a little over 3 years ago. Within the last year we noticed it started to be back pain-inducing. The Platinum warranty we purchased apparently does not cover the most important part, the frame. The frame issue also caused the upholstery to rip (which is covered). BUT in order to have them make good on that part of the warranty we have to pay $50-$75 an hour to have the frame fixed first. Come on Ashley Furniture! Can we make this right?? One star based on the horrific delivery experience that I'm still in the middle of. I ordered my furniture on July 27 and my sales experience was fine. Delivery was scheduled for Saturday, August 24. Farther in the future than I would have liked but I made it work. I received a call on the Monday of the delivery week advising that my dresser wasn't available. My options were to accept a partial delivery or to reschedule entirely. The kicker? They didn't and don't know when the furniture will be available. When the delivery guys arrived, they told me my mattress wasn't on the truck. WHAT? So now I'm without a dresser AND mattress with NO anticipated delivery date in sight. To account for the inconvenience of the dresser not being available on schedule, I was advised that the delivery people would bring along a gift card. Of course I received no such thing. Went into the store in Avon to buy a couch yesterday. Found one I really liked and ordered it. I then on a whim bought a power theater style recliner that my husband liked. Found out the next day that the wrong couch was ordered. Talked to a manager and was told if I wanted the couch I chose that I could not have it for the price I was told it was. They told me that I had to pay another $150. They threw my $2200 order out the window over $150 that had absolutely nothing to do with me. To go home after spending that kind of money only to find out that they ordered the wrong couch was disappointing. I went elsewhere. I will never buy from Ashley furniture again. I bought 4 chairs in 2020. They were defective on delivery. One leg shorter thatn the other on 2 chairs. Technician came out and stated my house was uneven. It took months of fighting to get the chairs replaced. Now after 2 years the chair is gettin wabbly anbd loose. I am sure it just needs to be tightened but there is no access the hardware. I have been told to go back to the store. Store said call customer service. Custoemr service says call warranty. Warranty says call store. Store manager in brooklyn will not even asnswer a call. 1) The nightstand(SKU:B502-91) that was delivered through Fed-Ex came with a drawer that wouldn't stay shut and a crooked knob, Still waiting on replacement pieces to fix it (and were told we have to fix ourselves) 2) First delivered Dresser(SKU: B502-21) and Bed(SKU: APK-B502-TBB) -3/12/2022 -Came with broken 3 dresser drawers that would not stay shut and crooked knobs. -Dropped off boxes for the bed and stated they could not assemble due to missing the side rails of the bed. 3) Replacement Dresser-3/24/2022 -The replacement dresser came without issues, however I was told that the first dresser looked like it was broken by the previous delivery employees. 4) Came to Assemble bed-3/26/2022 -I had a delivery date and time for this day between 4:30 and 7:30pm. We kept our 2 yr old daughter an hour past her bedtime and waited until 8:30pm just incase they were     running late. No one showed up on this date. I received no phone calls or information concerning rescheduling or cancelling the delivery. 5) Came to Assemble bed- 3/27/2022 -In the middle of the day the next day after the no show they came with no notification via email, text or phone call. I had to wake my napping daughter up to show them the     boxes the first delivery people left. They proceeded to tell me that I have the side rails already and that what I am missing is the headboard. Once again they could not build     her bed. -I was told that the reason why no one showed the day before was because the previous delivery team quit that day. I understand the need to reschedule considering the     situation. I would have at least expected the opportunity to reschedule to a date and time that was fitting for my schedule. As well as communication informing me that they     weren't able to deliver on my scheduled delivery day. 6) Came to assemble bed-4/2/2022 -This past weekend they came with the missing headboard. They were able to assemble the bed but not the storage drawers below. The drawers are completely broken and     the base on the bed is cracked and needs to be replaced. 7) We are also still waiting for the vanity set (SKU:B502-22) that we purchased along with this order. Online it says it has delivered with the nightstand through Fed-Ex. I called the main line and was told that it was a glitch in the system and to disregard. I was also informed that I would be getting it mid-may but at this point I have lost all faith in this company and am not confident that is accurate. Currently, we are waiting AGAIN to assemble the rest of the bed. I have requested for a supervisor numerous times to reach out to me. DO NOT PURCHASE FURNITURE FROM HERE. I have been WAITING a grand total of 24 WEEKS and still NO SOFA.....we were lucky a friend has been lending us their sofa, since we would be sitting on the floor if our new home for 24 weeks now. Oct 2020 I selected and purchased a sectional. This sofa was "attempted" delivered the first week of Dec 2020. The delivery man looked at my standard 36inch door and said they COULD NOT DELIVER the couch, before even attempting. They said, that they have had a lot of trouble delivering this specific sectional since the pieces were so large(NO ONE MENTIONED THIS WHEN I PURCHASED IT). I convinced them to AT LEAST TRY and they were unsuccessful. I went in Dec 5th 2020 and was told I could make a reselection and it would take 12-15weeks to deliver. There were no other sectionals in the same price range, so we ended up PAYING about $300 MORE for another sectional and would AGAIN HAVE TO WAIT for delivery. I went back into the store in Feb 2021 and was told 3/5 of my pieces were in, that I was "next in line for this sofa" (so basically they mix and match the parts to complete orders... especially since when I called the following week they said they only had 2/5 of my pieces) and that the additional pieces were estimated to ARRIVE FIRST WEEK IN MARCH... Its now Mar 19th 2021, 15 weeks since my reselection and I am still couch-less, have no idea when it is coming or if I will ever receive it. Staff has been nice and friendly however they clearly have operational issues and fulfillment .... WOULD NOT RECCOMEND. I just left the Brooklyn Ohio location where I was followed around and had a blonde sales woman argue with me about mattresses, they way I select furniture and over talk both myself and my mother. I can't speak on the quality of the furniture yet because my furniture is currently now being delivered 1.5 days late as we speak, but what I can say is the scheduling department is THE WORST! So pretty much we had a great experience in the store with our sales person even tho she sorta contradicted herself but whatever. But the delivery was absurd! So I complained and they refunded the delivered fee of $500. So I guess that's with the inconvenience of wasting an entire day. We purchased the Warranty because the salesperson stated that would be the only way to get a discount. The word Filth is an understatement. After spending $7,000 on a couch and promised $700 in return my mother was told that she cannot receive the store credit and can only be used on certain things. They tried to take advantage of my mom because she is foreign and doesn't speak and read fluently. We bought a sofa from Ashley. In less than a year, the seat cushions got real soft. We called and told Ashley and was told that they would be replaced. We waited and waited and never heard from them so we called again. This time we were told our 1 year warranty had expired and they wouldn't do anything about it !!!! The seat cushions got worse so we were willing to pay for new ones. The phone number on the website wasn't the right one so we got another number but it was for Florida. We're in Kentucky. The guy in Florida gave me a KY number. It was a store and they couldn't do anything for me but gave me another number. It was the customer service number. We called it before and you have to listen to a 30 minute commercial before you can talk to anybody. Yes, 30 MINUTES !!! So we went online to "chat" with a rep. We called the store and they told us to go through the warranty company that we paid extra for. Montage.....a whole other disaster. We spent the better part of a year trying to get this fixed. Just for them to tell us we had to go through the store to get it fixed under the manufacturer warranty. Well geuss what, now it has been over a year so the store won't fix it. They want us to pay for new cushions that fell apart a few months after we bought it, even though we went to the store first, before our year had passed. Customer service is awful, they just give you number after number to all different stores, which none of them can help. When we finally spoke to someone who could have helped through corporate (after they gave us a bunch of other numbers to try) they said they won't replace them. I will never buy from them again and if you value your money and sanity I highly recommend buying from a different company. Maybe one with integrity and customer appreciation. Terrible. I received a delivery confirmation with a scheduled delivery date over 12 weeks ago. I know furniture is backed up, so I waited patiently. My delivery day arrived and we stayed home from work to accept the delivery - it never showed. I called customer service and they told me it's backordered till October. So they KNEW it would not deliver on my scheduled date and never took the time or courtesy to call me and let me know! They can't be bothered to send a "delayed" email or push back the delivery date via email. They just let you miss work and wonder what happened, and only provide an update once you call and sit on hold. I complained and they told me this is just how they operate, that they would actually have called me 1-3 days AFTER the missed delivery date to provide a new date. What brilliance! As if I needed a heads up 3 days after I've missed work and my delivery date to figure out that it's delayed. The fact that they don't seem to understand the issue here and the fact that common courtesy and basic human decency would have caused them to give me even 24 hours notice that I shouldn't stay home to accept my delivery is just astounding. Honestly don't even understand why they have a customer service department if this is the outcome they designed. What a joke! read more

I bought a double leather recliner loveseat, a leather recliner, a sealy mattress, and a sleigh platform bed. The bed had missing parts, and was fixed the next day. On day two, the leather recliner snapped a spring, which is poking through the leather. Salesman was great, but didn't realize the seriousness of the problem. Technician will be here in two weeks. BUYER BEWARE - If I could give Ashley Furniture a zero rating, I would. If only I had read the reviews, but since we had worked with them before, it didn't seem necessary - big, big mistake. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE and for goodness sake, DO NOT PURCHASE THE "WARRANTY". The insurance company that you deal with is completely worthless - they spent so much time arguing with us that the piece they sent us was correct based on the "number" even after we sent several pictures to them. They forced us to wait for another technician to come out and look at the replacement piece and/or put it on our sectional. It took the technician all of 2 seconds to state that the piece was incorrect. He took pictures and sent them over immediately which were then sent to the "higher up" department for review. Never heard back from them with an answer even after several more calls. That was 3 months ago and today we got a call stating that only part of the sectional is in the warehouse and we would have to wait until August to get the other part. No calls from any one on where my table was. When i called they gave stupid excuses. It will be here in sept...then oct...then nov...then they tell me sometime in January 2022. So then i ask if they can deliver my buffet since it is here. They tell me no. They cannot do partial deliveries. So i cancel my table and they set a delivery date for my buffet which has been at there warehouse for months. 2 days before delivery they say they cannot deliver it because it is damaged. If you've ever been in need of furniture in a larger city, chances are you've heard of Ashley. It's a large chain of low/mid-range furniture for all your home decor needs. It has a very typical home furnishing story layout, which is to say, kind of confusing. They try to set it up by making mini rooms throughout the store and you end up having to wander the entire massive complex in order to see everything of one type. For example, if you are looking for a bed, you'll have to traverse the entire cosmos in order to see the offerings. I'm sure the idea behind this is that they are trying to get you to buy more than one thing but it ends up translating to wasting a lot of time. Ashley's furniture offerings aren't especially high quality but they do look nice. They are the type of pieces that will look good while they last but you should expect to replace them in a few short years. For most people this is fine. A lot of us can't afford to drop the cash required to get high end furniture. Their "leather" offerings are especially low quality (don't trust me on this, go touch and smell it and then do the same thing at Arhaus or Restoration Hardware). The salesmen are a bit pushy so I'm assuming they work on commission. If you tell them that you aren't buying and are just looking then you'll probably never see them again. I find this type of salesmanship very obnoxious and shortsighted. I suppose Ashley is the right kind of store for a lot of people. I have purchased a few things from them in the past... but I'll admit that I always did it with a lump in my throat. In the end, you get what you pay for. read more

After dozens of phone calls we were told the defect needs to be reported within 72 hours of delivery. Was told there is nothing they will do. What good is a "1 year" warranty. This is my second review for the same furniture delivery. I have never been more disgusted, disappointment or angry at any other establishment I've ever made a purchase at in the past. Ashley furniture not only abused a very handicapped man, they literally stole half of his furniture he had paid for that was on their delivery truck right in front of his eyes. Ashley left a 57 year old very autistic Man with a king size mattress laying on his bedroom floor, refusing to remove the old one, and leaving the property with his boxspring still in the back of their truck. This was after we received, in the same delivery a damaged footboard and headboard that I watched the delivery guys throwing around in the back of the truck before they even took it off, to get to my mattress. I don't believe this headboard or footboard were damaged before the delivery men handle them. At this point, Two months after the purchase date, we still only have half of a bed! Two women had to haul a king size mattress down two flights to the garage, along with the two boxsprings since Ashley refused to do so for us. I then had to go to mattress firm, which I very highly recommend, to purchase him a metal king size bed frame since Ashley seem to have the footboard and headboard but not the bed rails. I also needed to purchase a boxspring since Ashley left with ours Still on the delivery truck, with a very handicapped man literally chasing the truck down the street to try to retrieve his box spring. This has been the biggest nightmare of anything I have ever experienced, not to mention extremely heartbreaking. All I can say to each and everyone of you, there are plenty of other places to buy furniture that you will actually receive what you paid for. For all the bad reveiws I thought it was not as bad as people say. Ordered leather couches and living room tables. They were delivered in 10 days not like some of the horror stories. My salesman Hugo was nice. Store manager was nice as well. We went during labor day special. My only knock on them was a sticker came on my table and when i went to pull off will have to use some goo gone to get off. Otherwise furniture seems comfortable, timely, and reasonably priced. I purchased a dinette set and it was delivered on 01/08/22. The installers left bolts out and broke a leg. As of today 04/07/22 they have not sent someone to fix it when they told me it would take 10 days. They will not refund my money, they will not send a new table.
