I had previously left a review raving about the friendly staff but recently working with Ashely Furniture store has turned into a nightmare. I would advise people to shop ANYWHERE but here. I truly regret even stepping a foot in this store. I recently went to shop for a bed with my mom. It was delivered to us and we were not happy. There was a miscommunication on their end at first but we resolved it. My frustration began not being able to contact the store directly they have a 3rd party company that answers and will try to call the store but of course they do not answer. I ask the sales associate when I went up the store to sort things out and he said the store does not take calls. They also don't mention many things to you that you should be made aware of. They have horrible communication and do no take responsibility for any concerns you bring up. I received the rest of my furniture and it is horribly beat up and scratched. The sale person told me they are not responsible and I have to call the manufactured for them to fix this. Well I don't have time to go up to the store and ask for this information. I can't call because the store can't answer the phone. Who is the manufacture? How can I contact them?To make matters worse we cannot get this item refunded. More than anything I just wish we could return everything and not have to ever deal with this company again. Finally, the quality of there furniture is not good. You are better off ordering off a wayfair or amazon and for a cheaper price. They have much better quality. I will NEVER shop here again. Haverty's is right around the corner from this location and they are WAY better then Ashely's. Starting with their staff, furniture, delivery, everything! I have used them for years and never have experienced any issues. So now I continue to try and resolve an issue without absolutely no help from the people that sold us this furniture. I guess my sales person (Hunyh) Honey is eager to make a sale. She promises me that all the couch and power lift chairs are in stock. The warehouse called me on Sunday and left me a message that the couch will be delivered on Monday and the power lift recliner is on back order till June 13th. When I call them back on Monday for a delivery time, Customer Service told me that because I did not call them back, which was not indicated on the VM, the delivery has been pushed to Tuesday. I purchased this chair from Ashley. Chair isn't 2 years old. But I purchased their 5 year protection plan. After having conversations with different associates and being sent to the fullfiller and having a conversation with the protection company ( protect all ). Got a total run around. Protection company said they did not cover cracks and seams separating. I really do not understand what they cover. Do not buy from Ashley. I wish I could give them a zero. They use sales tactics and do not follow through on them. We bought from them in July and we're told we qualified for a $100 visa gift card and would receive it about 4 weeks after delivery. It has now been almost 6 months later and countless emails, phone calls (if you are ever lucky enough to get them on the phone) and even driving to the store. Have been told so many different things and the last 4 times the store said let me email my boss and he will get back to you. Still nothing! BUYER BEWARE! My husband and I purchased what appeared to be sturdy King size sleigh bed a little over a year ago. The other night as my husband laid down to sleep the side rail broke. I was upset that the bed had broken as I am 9 months pregnant, but even more disappointed to find out that what appeared to be "wood" was really STYROFOAM! We paid nearly 2,000 for a styrofoam bed? The next morning we went to the store directly to see what they could do to help us, but since the bed had been purchased over a year ago they no longer were "responsible" and said our only option was to call the extended warranty line. We brought the piece of styrofoam to show them what they sold us was not at all what it appeared to be. We received NO APOLOGY and once again were told to call the extended warranty line. If your looking for quality furniture that will last you many years PLEASE spare yourself the headache of buying something at this furniture store and pay a little more for better quality furniture elsewhere. Despite the terrible craftsmanship of the furniture pieces I won't say that all Ashley Furniture stores have bad customer service, but if you can AVOID the one by Mall of Georgia I definitely would. Worst customer service of all time. I know we are in a pandemic and so we have done everything possible to be patient with the constant order delays. However, the level of service has been laughable from the start. The store literally never answers the phone. When you go to ask questions in person, you will find one customer service rep actually helping everyone and 2-3 just sitting there doing nothing as you wait in line. There is a shocking lack of coherence in how they process orders. No communication whatsoever on delivery delays. We were also told our furniture would be delivered from 8-12 today, and it's now 3 pm with no word from anyone regarding when and if it will be delivered. We made a fairly sizable purchase from this furniture store, unfortunately. Like others have stated, they do not deliver something in its entirety upon the initial delivery-they make multiple deliveries. They have had to make three separate deliveries, and now they keep rescheduling the delivery of the last item we are waiting to receive, which I am not holding my breath to ever receive at this point. My home is in disarray because of this. I specially asked the salesperson about how long it would take to receive these pieces, and he assured me that it would not take 8-14 weeks as stated online, yet it will be right at the 7 week mark by the time they deliver the last piece. The brick building store does not have a direct phone number line-it is the number for the call center who will connect you to the actual store location at their discretion. The first set of delivery people were very unprofessional, as they took off without notifying us they had finished. The salesperson Vispul who gave us his direct cell phone number tells lies about checking on the status of delivery etc and doesn't return my call. Four out of six of our dining room chairs are not level, and one of the arms is about to fall off, so the quality on their furniture is poor. It is baffling how this place is still in business and is allowed to operate the way that they do. It is costing this sham of a company thousands to millions more by making more deliveries than necessary, and it is dishonest to sell furniture that is not even in stock. FYI, this is how this company has been operating for years-it has nothing to do with recent shortages. If you truly want something made by Ashley furniture, look for it elsewhere besides the actual Ashley Furniture store so that you can ensure they will have it delivered in a reasonable amount of time. I was told by a sales associate that I could return a couch I purchased within 72 hours of delivery, well, it was delivered damaged and the delivery team was absolutely horrible, throwing my furniture and items all over the place. Customer service at the store is excellent. Customer service by phone is horrible. After a month of waiting, they delivered a love seat with one of the reclining mechanisms never working. They sent someone out to fix it, and i told them it was delivered brand new. I don't want one already broke and has to be fixed. It should be working when delivered, but never worked. Because they don't answer their phones, I went back in person. They gave me something stating they will deliver a new one July 11th. I never got a call, and they never came. I also put my purchase on Acceptance credit or with their loan dept, but decided to pay cash. She still charged $50 for sonething I no longer needed and reported it to my credit as a turn down verses my paying it off. That hurts credit. They repaired it once, the other time they brought a new one out which has now broken since April. I purchased the insurance which is a joke. They will give you a store credit which you can only use there...which we did. Waited another 3 weeks to get a chair and bed. Told the day before that the chair was on back order but they can deliver the bed. Took our bed completely apart to be told that morning they weren't delivering the bed either. I had received my order for a sleeper couch on 3/21/21 and everything looked great but unfortunately once the couch was finished being put together, I realized I was missing one of the back cushions. I thought this would be an easy (mistake 1) thing to fix so I did not return the whole couch and sent a picture to the company through email and called to receive the back cushion that I was missing. To keep a long story short, I have been calling and emailing about the situation and was given different days that I should be receiving my cushion with each call having the time I would receive my cushion. Today 6/2/21 I called again after 2 1/2 months of trying to receive my cushion and was told that my order would not come until the end of the month. After hearing this I went to the store (mall of Georgia location) that I bought the couch to see if it would be possible that I could get the back cushion off the display. I know that it was a shot in the dark especially with this company that clearly does not care about helping their customers out after their own mistake, but who knows I might be lucky. I go in an speak to a white possibly Hispanic women with glasses about the situation to see if I could talk to the manager about possibly getting the back cushion from the display. She tells me that her manager is busy on the phone with another customer. As I am telling the young lady about what happened she somewhat ignores me and tells me that my order will not be arriving until the end of the month, which I already told her. I repeat that I just wanted to see if I could get a cushion from here. She tells me that I cannot (not really that surprised) give me the display cushion but she can see if she can reach out to parts. After that I ask her what the return policy is because at this point, I have had enough with this company. She tells me they do not have a return policy. Not only has this company messed up my order, put me through me the run around for 2 1/2 months, but also that they apparently don't have a return policy which sounds like a pretty bad business model. We bought a dining room set in late April. After writing up the order, the sales associate asked if we wanted to pay for assembly or do it ourselves. Frankly, I was surprised because I've never bought what I assumed was better quality furniture that required significant assembly. We were quoted $200 (!) for assembly. I asked what needed to be assembled and asked specifically if all it was would be attaching the table legs. We were told everything including chairs (even the backs) needed to be assembled and that it was "quite a lot of work". We opted to buy the assembly. I didn't like it and felt this was just another junk fee, but we bought it. Day of delivery we didn't receive any calls like we were promised before guys showed up. Delivery guys showed up and the only thing they "assembled" was screwing the legs on the table. And they didn't even get that right! See pic. The idiots pinched the product tag between a leg and the table body. When I called CS it took days to get anyone on the phone. I don't mind paying something for "assembly" but $200 isn't realistic or fair. I asked for the amount to be prorated and a discount given. I was told I'd have to be contacted by someone who could approve my request. After weeks I've gotten no emails or calls from them. I feel we were lied to about the installation fee and the lack of customer support is unacceptable. I'll never buy from Ashley furniture again. This was my first and last time. My wife and I bought a sofa and love seat for approximately $3,500. The sales person assured us that the delivery person would haul away our old sectional. One delivery person arrived at our home at about 6:30 pm. The delivery window was 3 pm - 7 pm. The delivery person informed us that Ashley does not take away old furniture. In reliance on the sales person, I thought that I was doing the delivery person a favor by moving the multiple pieces of the sectional to the road I had to move the pieces from the curb to the garage. First of all, we bought a couch from here over a month ago. We was told that we would get it on time and we could pick it up at the warehouse, well that was wrong! We got told we could pick it up at the warehouse in Atlanta and then get told "it's not there to pick up". Upon arrival Karen greeted us. She's amazing. Why? She's very knowledgeable about her products and is not pushy at all. We spent probably a hour picking out the Tempur-pedic bed we wanted and the frame to go with it. Tyler, the other sales associate that helped us was awesome as well. Both of them did an excellent job helping us choose what's affordable for us and the perfect bed we wanted. We ended up getting two free pillows with the Tempur-pedic bed that we bought which was a plus considering they cost $200 each. We spent 5,000 on a Tempur-pedic bed, porter king sleigh bed, two pillow, and the vertex bed cover. I thought it was an awesome deal. If I could give less than 1 star, I would. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE from this place. I JUST had my furniture delivered. The delivery guys took pictures and said goodbye, never giving me a chance to examine furniture before they left. I immediately noticed a gash in a large counter table I bought and the trim is hanging off. There was also a loose piece of laminate on the top and as soon as I lightly wiped my hand over it, it flaked off. I called customer service and they said they will send a technician out to fix it. Fix it? I just had it delivered brand new! I want a new table that hasn't been damaged that doesn't need to be repaired! The customer service representative said in their terms and conditions it states that I can refuse to take it when the delivery guys are still here, but that I would have had to have noticed that and examined it before they left. After they leave, it is my problem. They did not give me time to examine. They brought it in and placed the damage edge up against my couch that I couldn't see it. They also did not completely put my TV stand together and shelves within it are still covered in protective covering, so there was no way for me to even examine that while they were here. This whole experience with them has me deciding never to do business with them again and we will not be going back to them for my bedroom suits, office furniture, and patio furniture. What a sick feeling I have spending this amount of money, being excited for my new furniture, and having it delivered to me damaged. Just real sad. And the delivery guys left our house a mess. So, buyer beware: do not do business with this company because you are not getting a good deal, but rather you are getting what you pay for! UPDATE: it only gets worse. Table had a defect smack in the middle that I didn't notice before and tv stand that they didn't put shelves in has two dings in one of the shelves. Just run from this place. This was our experience with Ashley Furniture - Buford Store: On 11/23/2019, we purchased a bedroom set, kitchen table, and sofa table. These were placed on two separate orders, as some of the furniture was placed on call. On 12/11/2019, the kitchen table, two nightstands, and the mirror for the dresser were delivered. The sofa table, dresser, and chest were set to be delivered on 1/5/2020. On 1/4/2020, Ashley Furniture called to confirm delivery for just the dresser. We were advised the sofa table would not be delivered until 1/25/2020. We asked about the chest and the lady had no idea what we were talking about at first. Then, she saw a note that was left stating the chest had been discontinued. No refund was given for the chest at that point in time and no one bothered to let us know that the chest had been discontinued. Had we not asked, we may not have gotten a refund for the chest. We went to Ashley Furniture that day and they did not seem too concerned that our order was messed up. We had no choice but to return the bedroom set due to the chest being discontinued. We were told the scheduled pick up date for the two nightstands and the mirror for the dresser would be 1/22/2020. On 1/18/2020, we called Ashley Furniture to confirm the sofa table delivery on 1/25/2020. The lady advised the sofa table would not be there until 2/6/2020. We contacted Ashley Furniture to see if we could get the floor model at a discounted price. The store never contacted us back. On 1/20/2020, we called Ashley Furniture again to get an answer about the floor model. The manager said that was fine as he was not sure the sofa table we ordered was actually going to get to us. Also, we had to drive 40 minutes to go get it despite originally paying a delivery fee to have it brought to us. While we were at the store, we confirmed the pick up date for the two nightstands and the mirror for the dresser to be 1/22/2020. On 1/21/2020, we called Ashley Furniture multiple times to verify the pick up time for 1/22/2020 for the two nightstands and the mirror for the dresser as no one had called us to give us a time frame. No one answered the phone. On 1/22/2020, Ashley Furniture never showed up to pick up the two nightstands and the mirror for the dresser. We had someone drive a good distance to be at our house to make sure someone was there for the furniture to be picked up. Come to find out, we were removed from the schedule and we were not notified of this. Ashley Furniture had no real answer as to why we were removed from the schedule. Ashley Furniture told us they could pick up the two nightstands and the mirror for the dresser on 1/27/2020. We told them no because we were unsure if they would actually show up. We are unable to get our refund until the furniture they cancelled the pick up for is returned, so we will be taking the furniture back ourselves and getting our money back. If you value your money, time, and sanity make Ashley Furniture your last resort for furniture shopping. read more

When they finally got finished, a store rep felt the need he was more important to go ahead of me and the lady said he was there first as I stood there and seen him walk up. I simply needed info about a store promotion from a big purchase we had. Would've taken 2 mins to give me the info I needed to start shopping and they felt as if we did not matter. They don't hesitate to jump on you when you walk through the door to help/pressure you into buying but don't give two craps about the customer service. The couch I paid 800.00 for lasted less than a year before the frame broke. The frame was made with cheap wood. Better to buy a vintage couch and have it recovered or invest in a high end couch. Ashley furniture is peddling very cheap furniture with costly service policies, and I don't think they offer warranties. They would not help me repair my couch even though I had a service policy. I threw the couch away, and vowed never to step foot in their store again. Now that I'm selling high end furniture, I'd invest in a Herman Miller Eames. They have 5 year warranties. read more

I just finish my very unpleasant conversation with store manager Edward Camden or something like this... I called because we drove over 60 miles to their warehouse to pick up a media center, we got home and the doors and shelves are scratch and unfinished... He told me, he doesn't have all night because he is interviewing staff and that I should deal with it! If I don't like it I should drive back to the warehouse and return it, on my cost, time and everything.... My fiancee and and I were waiting to buy furniture during the quarantine caused by Covid19. We stumbled upon Ashleys when stores were slowly opening up. Fatima was a fantastic salesperson, providing all the useful information without any pressure to purchase and answered all questions we had to the best of her ability. Kyle, her manager, was super friendly and professional helping us finalize the purchase considering we had a few relatives paying for the furniture on different transactions. I would recommend both of them in a heartbeat especially considering that their furniture is extremely affordable without compromising quality. read more

I bought a couch in January at the mall of Georgia, the transaction went very smooth and and the sales person was extremely helpful. The couch was delivered on time during the set up I discovered some hardware missing for one of the legs, this leg was then screwed on with a wood screw. The delivery and set up guys said they are writing it up and they would also send the report to me. Well ... I never got the report and after contacting Ashley and being promised the couch would be repaired ... It didn't happen. I finally got to talk to someone and the missing hardware was sent to my house. After another phone call the repair was set up for two weeks for the phone call. I am still waiting to get the couch repaired 6 month later. Called customer service who said that they could not give me money back or send a replacement until I re- package the Item (which basically was impossible feom how damaged it was) or donate it (even though it was cracked and didn't come with the hardware). CuStoner service was useless and now it'll be weeks until we get anything in the mail for a new product. Probably not going to use this company again given their lack of caring for their customers. This is their fault for damaging the furniture. They wouldn't even offer to expedite the shipping or to have a made product delivered to us. I bought an in store purchase over the weekend. Delivery scheduled for that Monday. My invoice must have incorrect information because not one person could pull up my order. I talked to two different people on the phone and they assured me my delivery was in route, one gentlemen even giving me a narrowed down time based on the trucks route. Around six o'clock and no delivery I contacted them again where a man from the warehouse told me my order is still on hold at the store. I'm not sure what the means however I do know that means I was lied to twice yesterday by the representatives I spoke with. I do not know why my information is incorrect and not one person can tell me about my order that has already been paid for. I did not need a rush delivery but I do need to know when and if it is even coming. read more

Please do not buy from here. I made my purchase June 4th and am still waiting for my delivery. I bought a 3 piece couch and only received 2 pieces in the wrong configuration. Horrible customer service. They dropped off the 3rd piece for the incorrect configuration last week after i disputed my charge with my CC. Now because they dropped off the 3rd piece, in order to get the correct configuration they are saying i have to drop the dispute or be sent to collections. Safe to say i am a very unhappy customer and i hope no one else does business with them. read more

I would not suggest Ashley near Mall of Georgia. What a complete goat rodeo. The furniture in the store that we agreed to purchase was not the same price they quoted us. After they did agree to provide similar options it got worse. 1. They did not deliver the lamps 2. They were not able to provide any updates 3. The delivery team couldn't have been worse - leaving the couch upside down on the wet road 4. They now claim the entered a'T' ticket and it was not the lamps we agreed to buy.
