We bought more than one piece of furniture at Asheley furniture about a year ago. We encountered problems with the dinning room table, since the beginning They agree to come an change the table, this was last year and we still waiting for that change! Occurs to us that the table got more problems, and still they agree to change the table. This time they promised a date to change it! Took the day off and We waited the entire day and no show. We call and we were told it is out off stock! When confronted they said that they can't do anything to make a solution! And they stay with this answer like nothing happens to be concerning them! And we still don't have the table change! They will call us when in stock!!!???? Once they have your money; you do not matter to them at all and not priority at all. We actually Went to the store again as customers; talked to a sales person; found the the table and ask when we could have it delivered? They looked in their inventory and it was available. We could get it next week!!??? Really!?!? Management refused to comment and it was up to warehouse. Today still waiting for a call about delivery but still nothing. In short; do not purchase from them and do not expect any customer service. Also; a lot of the furniture that looks like real wood is actually compressed particle board... you get what you pay for = junk and no after sale service. read more

Tried to order some furniture online over the weekend, their site blocked my purchase and I had to wait until Monday to get in touch with their customer care. They told me it was a security issue and that their security people would contact me. By the time things were sorted out the bed that I wanted to purchase was no longer available even though it was only hours before. All this headache for nothing. If they had their act together in the first place I wouldn't be missing out on my bed and they wouldn't be missing out on my business. read more

I bought a living room set a couple years ago. The quality is less than the display. The reclining function has broken repeatedly. I purchased the extended warranty. They have fixed that a couple of times. It has taken them several weeks to get to it. The techswere less than professional. The cords come apart easily. The set and leather are REALLY POOR QUALITY. The stitching in the leather seat tore open. That is apparently not covered. Really poor quality. The leather is really thiN compared to every other leather couch I've owned (5 at least). I'll never shop here again poor quality. Poor slow customer service. Not worth my time. read more

Visited this store for the first time and what an experience I had. Salesperson Taylor who was very welcoming and helpful. Got her manager involved when we discussed about a price match and the Manager Nick was equally professional and after verifying the competitor price made the adjustments without any fuss. Also when I called Nick on the day of delivery to cancel the Protection plan I had purchased, he did that readily. Although there are 2 stores closer to where I live, I would visit this store in the future for all my furniture, Mattress and accessories needs. read more

Our sales guy Lonnie was phenomenal, had a great time in store until the delivery day..(yesterday) the delivery guys pull out a brown couch when we had ordered a grey one. Turns out, our order had been given to the stop before us. They told us they'd go back and get it and make us their last stop. We called the lady at Ashley and she said unfortunately there was nothing they could do about it until tomorrow which was today which was not okay because yesterday was my day off and I had been waiting around all day but it seemed more to their convenience and they didn't really care. The delivery guys finally came and this time they were different from yesterday. One was really nice and talkative while the other one was rude and acted like he couldn't wait to get out. I know there are good and there are some bad reviews; however I can only speak for my very recent experience at the Buford Store. From the wonderful sales associate service with Nicoleta Balaniuc all the way through the delivery of our sofa double recliner, everything went smoothly. We love our leather sofa his and her double recliner! We had an awesome experience. There was no sales pressure whatsoever. We were there an hour with our very patient sales associate Nicoleta! Ask for her. We even asked her to go help out others on a very busy Saturday while we made up our minds between 2-3 units. She graciously continued just to check in on us. We ask her about furniture at another store and she would only say go look at theirs and come back and let her know what we thought. She simply would not dare to badmouth a competing store. read more

I purchased 4 chairs in September. They were to be delivered the next Sunday. The delivery time came and went and no phone call and no delivery. I called customer service and was told that my delivery was cancelled. I asked why and she said they didn't have my chairs in stock. I told cs rep that common courtesy was to call me and tell me that my delivery was cancelled and that they didn't have the chairs. She was nonchalant about it; so I told her they were inconsiderate of my time and that to cancel my order and give me a refund. 3 weeks later and no refund; I called back and was told that the cancellation wasn't sent to the store for refund. 3 weeks later again and still no refund! I called again and the nice guy who I spoke with tried to call store but they don't answer. I am now on hold with the Ashley store in Buford GA to find out what the hell is going on with my refund! I will never purchase anything from this place again and I will tell everyone I know, not to either! read more

I think I am done with Ashley furniture!! I was called on my delivery date to say the items weren't on the truck (I took off work for this) and that they would deliver it two days later. I then was called the next day to say the Sunday delivery wasn't going to happen, it will all be there Monday. When I called back to get my confirmation I was told it wasn't this Monday but another week!! Since the store did not seem to care about me or my business, I decided to call Customer Service Corp. I was transferred and put on hold for 20 minutes and then disconnected. I have never seen a more disorganized establishment. If everything must be delivered, shouldn't this be the easy? So I found a dining table at Ashley that I wanted to buy. Extends to 128". 4 employees told me it only comes with 1 leaf at total of 109". I told them it's only 88" with the 1 leaf in it already. So 1 sales guy got the measure tape and it was only 88". With a second leaf it would be 109". But they told me it only comes with 1 leaf. Somebody looked underneath the bed next to the table and found a second leaf. Oh ok. So it does come with two leafs which surprised them. But the pamphlet states the table extends to 128" so where is the third leaf? The mgr left for a few minutes then came back and informed us we cannot get a third leaf. So I ask, why does the pamphlet states it extends to 128" and why, when we extended the table to see for ourselves that it fits 3 leafs, why then does it extend to fit 3 leafs? His answer "it's a typo". We left. Havertys wins. read more

We purchase bedroom furniture from this store on June 4th today is July 11th and we still have not been able to sleep on the bed. We paid extra money for them to deliver and assemble the furniture. The bed slats were missing 3 center support legs. The delivery guy said he put in an order for the legs, but he did not. We have spoken to 5 different people who have all promised to have the legs expedited to us, yet here we are almost 6 weeks later and we are still sleeping on a mattress in the floor. This is unacceptable. We even offered to go and pick up the legs from the warehouse ourself. Nobody knows what is going on or how to communicate with each other. No one would pay this kind of money to sleep on the floor for this long. read more

If I could give a negative star it would be for this company. I wish I had read the reviews before shopping and wasting mt families money. We bought what we were told was a part synthetic/leather sofa. It is now over 1 yr old so the warrenty is expired and behold now there is a huge defect ! The entire sofa is PEELING ! It is a complete mess and customer NO SERVICE says it is not there issue it is ours. The quality is so sad and it just makes us sick! Never shop here and tell everyone to read the reviews! Awful overall experience and would not recommend to anyone ever! Pricing quotes and what was charged differed. They no longer carried like 5 of the items that they still had on display at the store! Why have it in the store if customer can't buy it? Told me pillows would be new but instead tried to give me the floor samples (i had to call them out on it because one had stains all on it). Receipt and statement sent say completely different things. So confusing for no reason. Horrible, horrible experience!!! read more

Delivery driver sat on my street for two hours obviously taking a break. He then removed my delivery from the online tracking system which showed my delivery as rerouted to a different day. I had to contact the store 3 times to find out why this happened. Management was rude and unresponsive. I sat on hold for at least 30 minutes. I was told the store was busy and they were dealing with customers. Hello, what am I ? The delivery driver showed up at 6:00 when he was sitting on my street since 3:30. When the delivery driver showed up, he would not allow us to inspect the items in the box. We told him we would not sign for the delivery until we inspected our purchase and he got into the truck and drove off. The driver was unprofessional and management at the store was rude. Do not ever go to this store. Went in with my family to buy a new couch. First the employee helping us wrote down the wrong address. This was a genuine mistake but because of it we had to cancel the order and swipe card again. Then the women handeling the credit card who was supposed to be voiding the payment accidentally CHARGED US TWICE. Then she asked for our credit card for a third and fourth time. Following all this headache we asked to speak to a manager because we decided to cancel this order because of the inconvenience and the multiple errors the staff made. The manager Mike Poole came to help us and was completely rude. He did not apologize for our experience at all. Never going back to ANY Ashley's furniture store. All we wanted to buy was a couch and it turned into the biggest headache. Now have to wait till Monday to make sure our card wasn't double charged, let alone single charged. read more

We spent the weekend visiting all of the area furniture stores -- and saved Ashley Furniture for last, since it would be our first time going to the store -- I'm so glad we did! The Customer Service was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! The selection was great and styled beautifully. We ended up purchasing two beautiful petite leather recliners, a king size mattress (Phil walked us through and explained mattress options) and bedroom suit and as an added extra, all of the bedding, pillows and accessories! Our salesman Phil was incredible! He wrapped and packaged all of our items to carry out and was fabulous!! The delivery came and the gentleman were professional and fast setting everything up! It was a great shopping experience and I would highly recommend the Mall of Georgia store again. read more

I'm glad my experience was much better than some of these reviews. Maybe its because I only needed a small round accent table. I was not going to pay $59 delivery and was about to walk when the sales guy asked the warehouse mgr if they could have my small table delivered to the store and I'd pick up. So that's what we did. They told me it would be in on Thursday, they called me that morning to confirm the table was there. My only issue, and for me it wasn't a big deal, but they started to put the table together, before the Mgr could stop them. He called to advise me of the mistake but assured me everything was fine. Do not trust the reviews you read on Ashley's website. I tried to write a negative review and they did not publish it. I purchased a bunk bed for my boys back in November. A few days after it delivered I noticed a dowel pin on the floor. I was unsure of where it came from so I dismissed it. December 30 my son was climbing up the ladder to the top bunk a step broke free. Turns out each step was secured with a screw that had a dowel pin on each side of it. This step was missing the dowel pin. Without the added support the step just splintered away from the screw. I called customer service the following day. They asked me to send pictures and said they would mail out a replacement step right away. I followed up on Jan 20, nearly a month later to see when I could expect to see delivery. They said it would not mail out until the week of Feb 25. I expressed my dissatisfaction on how long it was taking and they said I could get it faster if a technician came out and switched out the entire ladder for a new one. They arrived on Feb 2 to switch out the ladder but they had no hardware to put the new ladder together with. I called customer service and after holding for 45 minutes I was promised someone would call me by the end of the day to get this resolved. Now here we Feb 4, two days later and no one has called me. Every time I call them I am on hold for a minimum of 30 minutes. I have wasted hours on the phone and still have no resolution. My boys cannot even use the top bunk because it is a safety issue with a broken ladder. No one at Ashley seems to care that my son could have been injured due to the negligence of their technician. read more

I purchased a large cocktail table and two end tables from the Ashley Home Store in Buford. The quality was exceptional for the price I paid. The delivery service was very professional. The two gentlemen who delivered the furniture were very courteous and respectful. I would most definitely purchase from Ashley again and use their delivery service. read more

I went into the store and found the perfect sectional and bedroom set with an entertainment center ( with a fireplace or so I thought) as this is what we looked at in the store. We also ordered a desk. The first problem arose with the delivery. We were scheduled for delivery 5/1/20, then were notified that delivery would be postponed until 5/8/20 because our desk was not in stock. We contacted them and got that resolved or so we thought. When they came to bring the first delivery the entertainment center (with the fireplace) was damaged. The took the damaged item back and we were told that they had one at the store that they could get delivered. After contacting them to follow- up on that delivery we were told that this was incorrect and my entertainment center would be available in June. Whattttt!!! After yet another conversation with them I was advised that the item was then in stock and they would deliver it to me. Fast forward to today. An entertainment center was delivered however it did not include the fireplace. When I called the local store to inquire I was advised that my order sheet does not have a fireplace insert on it and basically I would have to pay for the fireplace insert. If I am shopping in the store how would I know there is an insert when the sales lady did not advise me of that, online it is sold as a total piece and my first delivery had a fireplace. I am beyond upset. Overall it was three deliveries, a bunch of headache and I do not have what I thought that I purchased and no one seems to care. I have tried calling their "corporate office" per the number I requested from the young lady I spoke with at the local store and I was provided the customer service number that I am still on hold for going on 25 minutes and counting. Would give zero if I could. Received horrible service from Nate and Nick at the Buford location . Lies and poor attitude! Per Nick I would receive a $400 credit once my couch delivered . Note it delivered 3 hours late and after Nate and Nick told me it wasn't coming and "they'd deliver when they could ". Funny enough the truck showed up while he told me they weren't coming! He didn't issue the credit . I asked for the number for the regional manager and was told he didn't know the number . I have emailed Steven Ramjit twice with no answer. I inadvertently emailed Robert Lachenmaier who rudely said "someone gave someone the wrong contact " "who are you and what company are you referring to". The info I have is that he is the VP of Sales. If the VP of Sales is that rude it makes sense that the store manager is as well. I am planning on reaching out to the CEO tomorrow but don't hold out much hope I will get a positive response. read more

I got the wrong furniture after waiting 3 months for it, I've waited another 3 months because its backordered and they just told me, after I called them, that its going to be another 3 weeks. So I am having family over for Thanksgiving and NO DINING ROOM CHAIRS for them to sit on. The furniture is good quality, but I actually would live to have it in my home. After many months of delays, our couch and tv stand were finally scheduled to be delivered. Ordered first week of July was told we would have it In August, then it was September. The night before we were called that the couch came in damaged and would be December before we can get it. They showed up with our TV stand the next day but billed us for the delivery for the couch also and they wont refund us, Corporate says I need to speak to the store, the store says I need to speak to corporate. The Manger at the Buford GA location would not even get on the phone to talk to me talked to me through his employee. They charged me $120 for deliver and my TV stand was $125. I would have cancelled that too if they were going to be this bad. Was told they don't refund delivery charges, yet my couch was never delivered!! We ordered five pieces of furntiure and paid about three grand. We were promised that the pieces would be delivered on Nov. 3rd (today). Well upon delivery half of our sectional couch is missing and the delivery guy hands me the clipboard to sign. I look at him confused and am like where is the other half of our couch? He was like oh it's on back order. I was like backorder? Why didn't no one tell me this? He told me he had no other information and to call the number. I call the number and after a couple hours get word back from the manager Nate, he promises the other half of our sectional will be delivered on Monday. Monday? What an inconvience, I ask what the explanation for the other half of our couch? He admitted that the delivery guys forgot the other section at the warehouse. Sooo what your telling me is that if paying customers pay three grand to get their furniture and then get lied to directly to my face? Ashley Furniture has lost our business after such an event, slimly deliver guy who can't own up tp his mistake? I would have appreciated the honesty and been able to work with that instead of having my intelligence insulted. I don't know if he thought I wasn't going to call and inquiry but yes I did. I seirously can't believe that Ashley Furniture hires disrespectful liars as employees and thinks that they will still get business. Not in the long run is all I have to say, and we were planning on coming back soon and purchasing more furniture. However, after today's event that will never happen. I do appreciate that Nate was honest and accomdated us by moving the delivery date to Saturday instead of Monday, however slimy workers need to be reprimanded. read more

I must say I am very disappointed in how Ashley Furniture's staff at the Buford Mall of Georgia location reacted and responded to a situation that happened to me yesterday. I went there yesterday to get warranty info on a chair I had purchased a year ago. After they were very helpful to give me the information, I then proceeded to walk around the store because I'm also interested in replacing a sofa I currently have. I was fine that nobody was helping me because I was only browsing at that point. I had noticed that most of the sofa's had the back pillow piece attached versus being loose. I was disappointed because it always seems to rip after a while when people sit down and it pulls the back forward. I then noticed a sofa that the back was all one piece, no attachment or so it seemed. I went to look closer at it because I was very interested at this point. I noticed there was a large gap between the two pieces on the side of the back. When I put my hand there to see what that was there was something very sharp that ripped a piece of skin off of my finger. I thought initially it was just a surface scrap but when I continued browsing I noticed my finger was bleeding and there was a piece of skin dangling from my finger that was cut. My finger at this point was bleeding a lot. When I went up to the sales desk to ask for a tissue or band-aid because the blood was dripping down my finger, I told them what happened; that there was a sofa that cut me and I was trying to explain to them where the sofa was so they could go over and look at it and make sure it got fixed so no one else would get cut. They all seemed to have zero interest in finding out what sofa let alone where the very sharp piece of metal was that sliced my finger. At that point I just walked out of the store in total disbelief at the lack of concern the sales staff had. They never even asked me if I was ok. My finger is now red and infected. I'm hoping I don't need a tetanus shot since it was cut on metal. I will never purchase another thing from this store. They have zero concern for a customer's well being. read more

The worst store I have ever visited. The salespeople told us they had an item in stock and after driving 45 minutes we arrived to be told they had a "similar (more expensive)" item in stock. They were extremely rude, unprofessional and idiotic when it came to, well everything. We waited 45 minutes to speak to an even ruder manager because everyone had the same situtation. Worst purchase experience I've made. I was unaware of the poor quality of the furniture. We had our sofa sleeper, love seat, chair, ottoman, 3 tables and area rug delivered in March 2014. The sofa bed was replaced 2 days ago because they simply couldn't repair it again (3rd time). We decided along with customer service that the only way they could make it right was to replace with the same sofa but with no sleeper because, as explained by the repair person, the cheap wood simply couldn't hold it. The person could not believe how poor the furniture looked after only 9 months of only 3 people sitting on it. Also, they agreed to refund me the difference in cost. When I got to the store the associate was not able to grasp the explanation. The manager called me and was rude, short, annoyed - sounding. Also, since I no longer use the bank whose card it was that I purchased the furniture, they are still making me fight for the money they rightfully owe me. It is my suggestion that if you need furniture, save up. Go to a reputable dealer of quality furniture. I was warned by a friend when I told her that I had chosen my living room at Ashley. I should have listened. This review is not by a vindictive person, but a person who is an extremely unhappy customer. It is my opinion, based on my experience and the other reviews that this place is on the decline. Look underneath it in the show room. Look at the wood, particle board plywood. Check out the plastic legs, the wobbly tables. It's very bad. read more

I had an absolutely amazing saleswoman Leslie Dunn that took her time to assist me with decorating my new home. She drew out my entire home on sheets to actually give me a great outlook on what my home will look like with my new pieces. She explained to me in detail how the furniture is made and did a demonstration with dressers and couch cushions I purchased to show the stability, longevity, and sturdiness of the furniture. I came in Ashley HomeStore to only purchase bar stools and accessories BUT with Leslie Dunn's patience, expertise, and hospitality I left with Living room furniture, bed room furniture, and accessories. I WILL be coming back for dinning table sooner than later. I HIGHLY recommend Ashley Furniture, but definitely have Leslie Dunn to help with furnishing your home! Good customer service is hard to find so it should be recognized when people go above and beyond to do there job :) read more
