I should have looked at the reviews before walking into this store! I wish I can give them a zero for the service that I got. I wanted to order a table and 6 chairs. The customer service lady looked like I was doing her a favor. We ended up finding another one at a lower price at a different store. I called to cancel my order since I still had 3 weeks to go before they deliver. It was like pulling teeth to get someone on the phone. Waited over 2 hrs. Spoke with 3 different people and they said it would be done within 24/48 hrs. 1 week later and I'm still on the phone waiting to see what happened with my refund! they don't have an issue ringing you up! When I ordered the furtnitures from Blossom Hill Store - San Jose in Jan, the agent told me it will be delivered in 3 to 6 weeks, I'm waiting for 2.5 months already, Ashley furniture hasn't delivered anything, they just got my full payment and keep apologizing for the delay in delivery, they miss delivery dates they promised, no business ethics, poor customer service. Very disappointed by their process, if yelp allows me to attach the conversations I had with online - chat/support, you can see they don't give a f**k about customers to deliver on the goods already paid for, but just keep apologizing. read more

After spending over $3000 on a new mattress was told at I could nit use the VIP discount I was emailed ( and why I came to the store ) then when purchasing with my Ashley credit card was total I had to pay cash for the $600 in taxes and delivery and set up. Then to make it worse the delivery drive refused to remove the old mattress even tho use I was assured they would and paid $300 for delivery and set Up. Made many called to the store and left messages for the manager "Mehdi" who never return my calls. After. Week I got a customer service manager who said she was sorry but there was nothing she could do. I asked for a discount of the delivery and set up fee she said no. Worst customer service I have ever experienced ! I bought a set of bunk beds the first weekend of January 2021. Due to Covid they said they wouldn't be able to deliver it til around mid February. And I agreed to that because I completely understand that there's delays right now during the pandemic. Fast forward to today Feb 11 our order was due to be delivered, so we took the day off to get rid of my kids old beds and have the room ready for the new beds. The delivery guys showed up and brought everything upstairs and then they noticed that there was some hardware missing to build the beds and the guys said they couldn't build it. So the guys said the parts were on back order and that they don't know when they're getting them but that it's going to be a few weeks. So we told them to take the stuff back because we didn't want to be held responsible if there was things missing when they came back again. Then I called customer service because I feel I don't need to pay for delivery and set up ($120)if they don't follow through. So I called customer service and they said they couldn't help me and that they needed to connect me to the store where the purchase was made. So after 40 minutes on hold they just hung up on me. So I decide to drive 20 miles to the store myself. When I go outside there's Ashley's Furniture trash on various parts of my front yard which I had to pick up. So I took some of that trash to the Burbank, CA location. When I get to the store I ask for a manager and they direct me to Lucy M and she could not be more rude. She didn't want to hear any of my issues and said there's nothing they can do there and that they don't do refunds at the store. So she pretty much just blew me off and gave me a number for the warehouse and she said deal with them. I call the warehouse and they answer "Ashley's, what do you need?" To which I replied "some good customer service please!" And the woman said " I'm not being rude, this is how we're trained to talk to customers I'm sorry you can't take it so I'll tone it down to your level." After all this now I'm at a loss for words so the woman over the phone said "we're a warehouse sir, I don't know why you're calling here. We can't help you, you need to go to the store where you made the purchase." So basically no one at this company can help !!! My advise to anyone thinking about buying from them is "PLEASE DON'T". Bought a power recliner sofa and loveseat back in Dec. 2019. In Sept of 2020 the recliner broke. After 2 wrong replacement parts ordered they decided to replace the sofa. It will be over 6 months by the time we get the replacement if it ever comes! Very dissatisfied overall and the worst part is that noone from Ashley seems to take responsibility or cares that we are dissatisfied. Will be taking my future business elsewhere! read more

BEWAREEEEEE!!!! This store is selling furniture without even having it in stock ! We bought our sofa set in the beginning of June. It is now August ... NOTHING ... we had three total scheduled deliveries that I had to stay home cancel all plans to wait for furniture.. guess what ... NO SHOW , NO PHONE CALL nothing !!! Each time there was no delivery I called the store and all they could tell me was due to Covid we are backed up ... I finally went today in person and demanded a refund. I have never written a Yelp review before, but the customer service at this store has been so horrific that I feel compelled to write one. Zero stars would be too good of a review. On July 25, I received delivery of a living room set that included a sofa, coffee table, 2 side tables, a set of lamps, a set of accessories, a rug, and throw blanket. The lamps and accessories were delivered in sealed boxes and the delivery person that day indicated that I should contact the central customer service line with any issues with these sealed items. When opening the boxes later that day, one of the accessories and lamps indeed had deep scratches. After being given the run-around by the central customer service line, I took the accessories and lamps to the store to address the issue on August 7. After waiting about two months for the living room set to be delivered, I didn't want to wait for replacement lamps & accessories and preferred to receive a refund for those pieces. The store customer service indicated that it would take "several business days" to process the refund through the central office. It has now been 2 months and many phone calls later (as well as a return to the store), and I'm still waiting for the refund. To add insult to injury, the store has quoted me the wrong refund price every time I call as they mistakenly indicated in their system that I returned the throw instead of one of the sets. Every conversation has ended the same way, with them saying they'll send another email to this central office. Apparently, they can't process the refund in the store and can't call anyone at that office to address the issue. I realize that we are in the midst of a pandemic and refunds take longer than usual, but this is the only company I've had to deal with during this time that has been utterly incompetent. I regret the day that I purchased from this store (and company) and pray that I'll never need to use the extended warranty that I purchased. I strongly urge anybody thinking about purchasing furniture to avoid this location, and Ashley Furniture as a whole. Growing the trees, chopping the lumber, assembling, and sanding/painting the finished product all by yourself would be a less painful process. read more

If i could give a negative service x100 i would. I bought 2 side chairs, a dining table with 6 chairs, and a couch. When i received the dining table i was brought teenage boys to assemble. Thus, they had no ability to assemble. They took the screws and actually screwed through the table top. Initially they denied taking responsibility for damaging the table. When they were confused as to why i refused the table they told me " at least i had a table." The other chairs were fine... But at that point they hauled everything refusing to leave the good dining chairs and side chairs i ordered. they resent a new table.. fine. And my chairs .. after waiting another 2 Weeks..that never should have been hauled off... Finally arrived. The couch was projected to deliver end of October...so this was not a issue in effect at the time..Now i call so see the projected delivery date and schedule for my coaches as instructed and the customer service rep tells me the new projection is MAY 2022!!! And not even guaranteed to be ready... When i originally was told October!! When i asked why i was not informed or if anything could be done she simply and sarcastically replied "what do you want me to do" This is an investment i made. As many of you will... And you will see they will simply dismiss you. Buying furniture should be a fun new time in someone's lives. I spent over $4000 total for 2 side chairs, a coach, a dining table and 6 dining chairs. We love the furniture we got from Ashley. Unfortunately it took forever to get to us, and some of it was broken and needed to be sent back. The main reason for this review is the poor experience I've had with the financing. The lenders that Ashley partners with are criminals and should be avoided at all cost. Couple of hints. Never buy anything full price. They always have sales and are more willing to deal than a used car salesman. Also they always offer 0% interest so might as well use that too. Also they have several different lines of varying quality and price. Make sure you know which one you are getting for your needs. Finally, while they can't discount tempurpedic mattresses, they will give you a ton of money to spend on other furniture in the store. Do you research on twitter, FB, instagram....they are SUPER friendly to sell you product, even give you their email address, seem to go above and beyond and promise the product will be delivered at a certain date....then nothing. You can then prepare to wait 5-6 months or more and when you finally recieve it, they will switch it, it is missing components etc. And if you call to inquire where it is, they will not answer. If you are FINALLY lucky enough to get someone on the phone they tell you that there are NO refunds allowed. They lie. They charge you right when you make the order so they already have your order. I would give 0 stars if I could My grandmother and dad purchased me new couches from Ashley as a house warming gift. Last Thursday a cousin of mine went to pick up the couches for me since the delivery price was too high and we had already spent a great deal on the couches. He brought them to my house and I got home late from work so my husband received them. When my dad finally asked how we liked we told him they were great but we just thought that they were recliners. After assuring him that they were not recliners my dad went to the store and we FaceTimed him to show they were not the ones he and my grandmother purchased. He had to inconveniently go back to Pasadena and pick up my elderly grandmother to have this corrected. They refused to do the exchange and wanted me to get someone to take the couches back and pick up the new ones or pay the exchange. There was no way I was going to do this as it was not my nor my father or grandmothers error. My dad really had to fight to make this happen, I really hope that you can agree that as a consumer this was not fair at all especially after spending thousands of dollars! Finally the exchange is made and agreed that it will come on Thursday, we got the call that the delivery would be from 10-2. It was my nephews graduation today and because I could not change the time frame (which I understand) I did not show up. I called this morning and asked for a 1 hour call ahead, confirmed the address it needed to go to and also changed the phone number. At 11:15ish my dad calls me stating they are on their way (No call to me like I asked). At 11:31 the delivery team was at the wrong address. I was finally able to provide the correct address and was going to wait for delivery today since I had to take the day off already to be here. At 7:19 I called to get an ETA. We wake up at 3:30AM for work and I had a feeling something was wrong. I called the Ashley number again and after being out on hold for 10 minutes I was told the truck broke down and I would not get my delivery. Being completely upset now I asked for a manager. The response was we don't have one right now, they're all in a meeting. How is it possible to not have anyone in charge? I was transferred to the store cause obviously no one wanted to help me. Another long period of holding and same response "there is nothing we can do no manager". I really find it hard to believe that a company as big as Ashley does not have a manager on duty and treats customers this way. My housewarming party is on Saturday with people coming in on Friday and now now couches. This is an experience that was supposed to be amazing and was now ruined thanks to Ashley. Once they finish your purchase, you're on your own. They would not return your call (after leaving a voicemail to the sales lady's "personal" cell phone)to schedule a delivery to an earlier time. Besides that, the delivery team forgot one of my furniture. They "promised" to deliver the next day. After they failed to re-deliver, you will have to fumble your way to speak to someone to schedule a new delivery date. YOU will have to fix their mistake! Once you think you've scheduled a new delivery date and you've confirmed your new date, they failed to deliver once again!I Called customer service just to find out they did not scheduled a "confirmed" date. My daughter bought an office suite, a bedroom suite, a mattress and box springs, and a padded bench for her new condo. The bedroom suite was on sale but we were assured that all pieces were in stock and available for delivery. Twice my daughter asked the salesperson if she was getting new items and not the floor samples. Because she was new, she brought the manager over who assured her that the items would be new. The next day my daughter got a call and was told she was only getting one night stand. Because she was at work, she had to call them back to find out why only one night stand. No one answered so she left a message for them to call her back. Never happened! I, being the protective mother, went to the store directly to see if I could get this straightened out. The customer service gentleman behind the computer said that my daughter had bought the floor sample. NOT!! When I told him she did not, he said that he was there when the transaction was made and that she had indeed bought the floor sample. First of all, he was NOT in on the transaction and second of all, he is a liar. And, of course, I told him so. He called for his manager who was not the same manager working the day my daughter purchased her items. When the manager came to talk with me, he said that he hates "sale" items and because my daughter bought something "on sale" they had run out of night stands and also the dresser mirror. I called my daughter and she said to cancel the entire sale. (She had paid cash for everything.) Who wants a bedroom set with no nightstand or dresser mirror? I was told by the manager that my daughter would have to come in herself to cancel the transaction. I completely understood that and my daughter agreed to come in that evening after work. But I told the manager that he should not have someone working in customer service who lies to the customers. I'm afraid I wasn't very quiet about it. He said he would talk to him, but I doubt that ever happened. My daughter arrived there after work to cancel the order and get her money back. They made all kinds of excuses for what had happened. Told my daughter they had confused her with someone else. They offered her a discount on another bedroom suite and free delivery. My daughter declined and just asked for her money to be refunded. Went dinging chair shopping for my mother today. The store managers were extremely nice to my toddler. One even give him a treat from their vending machine. They made us feel at home. The entire team was friendly and tentative. I was able to finalize my purchase right before closing. My rating would be less that 1 star. I am never again buying anything from Ashley home store ever again. I ordered a dresser and when it was delivered the first time I had to send it back because of there being damaged. I got it re delivered and one side was chipped. I was told that the company would not accept it and fix it only that there would be a technician sent to my home to fix the damages that was caused. The second time the delivery men came one tried to use a sharply to cover the damage up. I stopped him before he could get to it. The technician came and fixed the chip on the corner of the drawer but stated in his notes that he will order a drawer piece. I waited a few weeks and I haven't received any thing. I called and turn eres out that their technician never place an order so I had to. The drawer took two months to arrive. I called the company to sent out a technician to exchange the broken drawer and it came out to be in a different color as the dresser and he did NOT insert it correctly. I called the company again and I was suppose to get an exchange but the dresser came damaged for the third time. It is ridiculous in how many times a dresser has come damaged. I am done with this company and never shopping here again. Just a waste of time and money. Now I called again and have to continue waiting and wasting my time to see if I will get my money back or something. They keep repeating that there merchandise should not come damage but every time it gets delivered there's always damages done to the dresser. This is ridiculous!!!! When I called to get it resolved they had the audacity to tell me to come into the store to talk to customer service. The sales rep was named Liz. Absolute trash. I NEVER received my large furniture purchase of $4,651.05!! The WORST customer service ever! My order was placed on January 13, 2020 advertising as inventory close out. AFTER purchasing the furniture I was informed that the furniture would need to be ordered and would not arrive until after February 25, 2020. The next day I called to cancel my order feeling deceived and taken advantage of. I also did not want to wait until March to have my furniture delivered. I called both numbers on the paperwork the next day 1/14/20 to cancel my order. Both numbers are ran by a computer system and constantly redirect you to a voice mail. I left a voice mail at both numbers, with all my information, account number, inventory number and informed them that I was cancelling my order.  On 1/18/20 I returned to the store to return the only item I had in my possession, the unopened mattress cover with my receipt in hand.  They looked up my account information and told me my mattress had been delivered. I informed them I cancelled my order on 1/14/20, the mattress was never delivered, and that I was here to return the only item I ever received, the mattress cover so they could process my full refund of $4,651.05.  The guy got up and went to talk to other people and said he could not issue a refund for the items even though, I never received the items and I cancelled my order on 1/14/20. I asked to speak to the manager and the salesman responded "We are all managers." Two sales managers went back and forth as to why they could not issue me a refund. The salesmen also very quickly tried to pressure me to switch to their payment plan. I said "No, I'll leave it on my credit card." I asked them to refund the unopened mattress cover and provide me with a receipt of the return. They refused. Not wanting to leave the store with no receipt that I returned the item, I took the mattress cover with me. The mattress is labeled as $49.99 on my receipt.  The salesmen in the store on 1/18/20 said all sales are final. The salesmen who sold me the furniture did not disclose that the furniture would need to be ordered, that it's not actually in stock in their inventory, or that there are no refunds or exchanges. The salesmen in the store were all very pushy and pressuring.  Again, the only item in my possession is the $49.99 mattress cover. I have never received any of the other items and informed AFTER purchase that my items would not be available until after February 25, 2019.  It is March 12, 2020 and I have NEVER received my furniture. The numbers on my receipt give you a run around to voice mail. I have left multiple messages to just cancel my order and refund my money. No response. I filled a dispute with my credit card company and Ashley Furniture is saying my charge is valid. How is my charge valid when I NEVER received my furniture purchase!? At this point all I want is my money refunded on my credit card and they are refusing to do so. read more

A person is always following you and it's happened every time. It's usually an older man staring at you from a distance following you throughout the store. Every time I turned around he was there. Even with my fiancé I feel so uncomfortable. Especially the Burbank Ashley store, as soon as you walk in an older man starts following you. It's not helpful it's creepy, when I would turn around the associate would turn to look the other way as if they didn't want me to notice. read more

They make you think you are saving money but really they only throw in "free or discounted" items when you buy more and the items that they discount or give you for free are terrible. I got "free" pillows with our king size tempurpedic bed and they are so small and uncomfortable that I can't even find covers that fit and we don't use them anymore. We tried to take back a table set and they said they don't accept returns at all even though they barely delivered it the day before. Do not buy from them. The manager is a B too! I have never written a bad review, HOWEVER BE AWARE, we simply went inside the store to take a look and get ideas about what would fit inside an apartment and what wouldn't, they were extremely adamant about helping us out which made me nervous at first but I ignored it thinking I could just say no, they stated word for word that they would check to see how much we qualify for if we wanted to buy some pieces, as soon as she told me how much we'd qualify for she started talking about delivery dates, etc - to which we proceeded to say that we were not going to buy for today or ever to be honest, she appeared confused and she did not tell me I applied for a credit card!!!! Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you apply for credit lines usually, see how much you qualify for, then proceed to get the card? So now I have a random credit card from a random bank and I have to cancel it, I understand it's not a big deal and it's a phone call away but let's hope it doesn't mess up my credit score. I purchased a temper-pedic mattress & 2 Tempur-Pedic pillows on Thursday 8/22. They were Delivered Friday evening 8/23. I have been having back issues lately and made it a point to mention it was the reason for my purchase. After a couple nights on the bed I was not convinced I made the right purchase. Bed was tough to sleep on. Woke up with more back pain. Not the comfy cloud like feeling in the showroom. I didn't know I had to "break it in." I called the store and was told I needed to give it 30 days to break it in. My back didn't have 30 days! I read their return policy. To my disbelief. No returns. Under no circumstances. My heart sank. The pillows were hard as a rock. By Monday 8/25 I couldn't handle the discomfort I had by using the pillows. I called to ask if I could return the pillows. Was told no. I decided to walk into the store and speak with the manager, Medih Eftakar. I politely explained my entire situation. He explained and assured me it would not take more that 10days -2 weeks for bed to feel like the showroom bed. I mentioned while the sales rep and finance manager that assisted me were very kind and professional, and patient with my indecisiveness, the "break in period" was not discussed. Had it been. I wouldn't have purchased a temper-pedic. Due to my back problems. Now to address the pillows .. i explained to him I can't use the expensive pillows I paid for. They truly were hard and uncomfortable and caused More pain than help. He made the exception and I was able to get a replacement pillow. Thank you Medih for listening and believing me. Your compassion was just what this stressed out wife/mom of 3 needed. Hard to believe that sometimes just a little compassion can go a long way. Ive gone in this store twice now hoping the second time would be better but no. their customer service is predatory level. the first time I came in a sales person introduced themselves. I said I just wanted to look around and he said great let him know if I have questions. less then five mins later he's talking to me about what I'm looking at. I say politely I just want to look around. two mins later he's hounding me about the couch I'm looking at that there are other options and where they are. Not everyone wants to be hounded like this! at this point I left. I came back a week later when I walked in was greeted by a different person. I said I knew where to find what I wanted and he said ok and I walked off. two mins later he hunted me down and tried to get more details of what I was looking for. so I explained what happened last time and that I don't need help and If I have questions I'll ask someone. was I a bit rude maybe but I was more firm then anything. I mean i could have but didn't say "leave me the f$&* alone". he backed off and said ok. two mins later he comes over again to tell me about another version of what I was looking for. I got pissed and said I really don't want help to which he threatened that I'd have to talk to them to buy something (which I was going to purchase on their website and just wanted to see it in person). at this point I left. Keep in mind Insurance has been purchased for everything for our just over 12,000 purchase.. Nothing we received was how is was in the store. My wife and I purchased a sofa for the living room and the cushions went flat within a year. We had a technician come out after a month of calling to have them send out new rock hard cushions. And now these are going flat after 2 months. Our living room table- the hardware on the two bottom doors literally fell apart one day when I pulled them open. ( the sent a tech out and he sent us new hardware for only 1 door. I replaced it and it still won't close right. Now they don't want to honor a replacement for either purchase.. Less than 4 months old, our bedroom set we purchased. On the first delivery one dresser came damaged and the installer tried to super glue some leg bolts in right before I double checked on them, (how stupid) I refused it and they returned it and sent out another one and this one already has the handles falling off due to stripped screws when they put it together. We had a technician come out out after a month of asking and 2 months later it is still NOT fixed. Our Tempurpedic split king feels NOTHING like it did when we laid on the one they have in the showroom floor. We have talked to several people at Ashley and Tempurpedic and nobody will help. Both were supposed to be medium and both feel no better than sleeping on the floor. When I asked the manager at Ashley prior to purchase he said we have a 90 day sleep trial and that if we were not happy we could exchange it plus a small return exchange fee. I was fine with that. They did not honor anything at all. Keep in mind again that we purchased just over 12,000 worth of home furnishings. I have been to the doctors twice because of upper body aching not even thinking it was my 6,000 Tempurpedic bed that was supposed to cure all body aches. Turns out is was, and neither Ashley or Tempurpedic want to help out in anyway. They have a sign in the store that says it's their goal to me the customer/guest happy but in reality all they want is your money for crappy product. Stopped by JUST TO LOOK and made that very clear, because they were busy and I didn't want to waist their time, but the salesperson insisted on following throughout the entire store, anyway. After 20 minutes of him asking us questions to assist us, and pushing the credit card on us, three times, which I politely declined, I finally asked if there was a chest of drawers to match a bed I liked. Our salesperson, Graham, did not understand what I was asking for... which was a dresser. So he suggested we look in the kids department and then replied with "I don't know. Didn't you see it?" I was appalled. Finally, he pointed a piece of dining room furniture, signed with the words "dining room" and called it a dresser. Stay away from Graham he's clueless and does not listen. read more

I swear if I can give -5 stars I would. Ashley furniture is the most unprofessional furniture store. They work with a third party company who is lazy as fuck. I told them to please let me remove my front door so they can try and bring my furniture inside. They didn't want to try that. They attempted to bring it in 1 time and stopped, took a picture, sent it to I dno who and said it won't fit. They didn't even bother trying when I took the door off or bringing in my love seat and my coffee table AFTER I removed the front door. They literally just took off wit my furniture no fucks given. We call Ashley furniture and tell them what happened all they said is we're sorry. What should we do? Like are you serious? How unprofessional can one company be? I really don't understand. They damaged my walls and door and scratched the floors. Customer service doesn't even care. All they do is say I'm sorry and we can't do anything. We have to tell them step by step what to do. None of them tried to help. This is ridiculous. Starting from the store all the way to customer service. You guys are fucking ridiculous. Owner of this company needs to get rid of all there employees and get some new ones. This place causes nothing but problems for every person who has bought something from them. Lies after lies and every review has been negative to date. They have all this problems and not once do they try and change for the sake of the company. If I can give this place a zero I totally would. My husband and I bought a dining set with a bar December 2019 and it was an expensive set. However, the first month we had the set, we had four chairs break on different occasions with different guests sitting on them! The legs were made poorly. We have not used the dining table since. So we have been going back and forth with Ashley's for 6months to get a new set. Turns out this set was discontinued and they don't want to refund us or return the items. We have been on the phone with corporate and Ashley's store nonstop! And no one is helping. Poor customer service, horrible policies, and cheap products. My husband is about to go to the store and see if they can just stop billing us, they can keep the freakin money, just to please take this crappy set! I actually broke down today and cried out of frustration! This place is the worst place I have ever dealt with. Please you guys do not fall into the trap we did. There are so many other better furniture stores with better quality, better prices, and better policies. Go else where. I literally wanted to write this review to help others not go through what we are going through with this crap place. If I could give this a 0 I would. Six months no couches and given 10,000 different processes to go through to get them. All reps say something different. NO RETRIBUTION given - no discounts, no nothing. And just as they misrepresented the timing and the processes to go through (one time even saying they were three hours away and letting me rearrange my entire day just to never come), they misrepresented that they would be sending us something for our trouble. At this point, I do not trust anything they say, but I still have to communicate to get our couches. Beyond frustrated. Will never order from here again. read more
