They have a big selection, but beware try every mattress possible by your color that comes up and don't get tricked by, this one has so many layers. Remember the mattress that is there has already been broken in. The mattress you receive will be much harder than the one on display. If you are a blue which is medium firm, match in their machine tester, (pick a medium firm)try all of them and stay clear of the Kingsdown Westpine Firm, which pops up for that sleep color list but at the end of the list, meaning it is a firm but they say this one can work. (It doesn't) It is way too hard you will not be able to sleep on your side, you will get pains on your legs and back and end up buying a mattress topper, because it is way too hard. You won't want to return it because they will tackle a $495 or more to do an exchange. Although if you call the number for customer service they will bring it down but it's was still $275, if we wanted to exchange it. Plus you won't receive any money back if you want a less expensive mattress, just store credit, which I was not aware of. Not only did I pay a lot for a mattress on top of it, the salesman, Danny, sold me a mattress cover telling me it was $100, yet in my receipt it shows that he charged me $179! It's not even a complete mattress cover with a zipper, it's only 4 sided, doesn't completely protect the mattress just the sides and the top. It was suppose to be cooling mattress cover but it does not cool at all, don't be fooled. Unfortunately I thought he was honest but he was not. Long story short don't trust the salesman at all, get your color that matches you and test as many as you can , that is for your color match. Don't listen when he tells you stay away from certain mattresses, do your own testing. Otherwise you will be like me that now I have to buy mattress toppers for as long as I have this expensive mattress that is not comfortable. I would have preferred to buy a Temperpedic which was not recommended by the way. read more

My daughter recommended that we go to sit and sleep. There was one a few miles away. We walked in and a gentleman by the name of Rod greeted us with a smile. I hadn't been bed shopping in years, even as other customers came in. He said I'll be right back with you and he would go to them and then come back to us and vice versa. We found out that he's a supervisor there cause I wanted to speak to his supervisor to say what a great job he had done helping us. He was very patient with me. I'm old. I don't hear well and my daughter's with me to translate most of the stuff that I don't hear. He was not annoyed with my not being able to hear. He made a point of speaking to my daughter and I together then. Rodd is a great representation of this company. I'm not one to ever complain and I'm a very easy going person but I had to write this. I don't recommend anyone buying a mattress from here because their return policy, warranty, etc is TERRIBLE. I would give zero stars if I could. My mom purchased a firm pillow top mattress from here, she has fallen twice from her bed because the edges are defective (it slips downwards) and she developed back pain and lack of sleep. I called the store and they sent an inspection. Their inspection results were that it's basically not damaged enough for a store credit/exchange or anything. They only suggested we buy something called a "deck" to fix this issue - this is irrelevant since my mom bought another firm mattress (way cheaper) from a different place which works perfectly for her now (same bed). I was a little thrown off when no one greeted us near the door. Husband and I had to make our way in for them to see us, since the place is HUGE! We were greeted by Danny, who showed us to the sleep position machine. It was a good distraction for a bit. Once we finished Danny showed us around looking for the perfect mattress. What I loved about him was his patience. As you know, looking for a mattress is a bit like the book "three little bears". You go around saying "this one is too firm" and "this one is too soft". Until you reach the right one! So his patience was needed and welcomed. He was so kind and helped us pick the right one! He made purchasing extremely easy. REVIEW FOR DELIVERY, BED FRAME AND MATTRESS COVER ONLY I still have totally high marks for the Glendale Sit n Sleep, and I went and bought a bed for myself recently, but since then, I have realized a few issues, and need to review the delivery team. I bought a new bed frame for my new bed, but it doesn't have wheels which is a major, major bummer when trying to move the bed! Also, when I went to rotate the entire bed and frame last night, I found two pieces of my old bed frame under my headboard. The delivery guys were in such a rush, they left them behind and I just discovered them. Also, one of the delivery guys almost knocked over an antique bookshelf in my living room as he was rushing out of my bedroom with the old mattress and wasn't looking. In addition, I felt like these guys did everything wrong because they started moving the new stuff into the bedroom before taking all of the old stuff out. This was so backwards to me, and now I see that it really was since they left old pieces of metal behind. My last comment is DO NOT BUY the mattress cover from Sit n Sleep. I wasted $100 on this and I'm really bummed. Since I got a Tempur-Pedic mattress, it's not very thick, and the mattress cover is HUGE and plastic!! I wanted to go back there to return it, but I have been so busy and now it's past 30 days. You can get a much better quality cover on line from the big vender for about a third of the price. read more

They had great service when we walked in and purchased the bed. After that, everything went downhill. They had first told us delivery would be in 2 weeks and it ended up taking 7 weeks. When the delivery crew came, they mistakenly brought the wrong size. We had to wait another 4 weeks. The first time the bed was installed, they had not drilled in the screws properly and it broke in a month. We called them, they "fixed it", just for it to break 2 months later. I had enough! Stay away from this place. Very cheap and very unfocused. I went to ikea and purchased my bed, and it is a million times better. I now realize how bad and cheap Sit 'n Sleep products are. Do YOURSELF a favor, and avoid Sit 'n Sleep. I wish I had read the reviews before, I would have never gone in the first place! read more
